We are loving it at TAC, this is our first season in cheer and I have a feeling this is going to be…read moreour life for the next 15 years. They do offer tumbling classes even if you aren't on a cheer team and the pricing is very competitive with local gyms. As far as the cheer teams you have to try out around April for the season that runs the entire next basically school year so if you miss that you pretty much have that year to get ready for tryouts for the next year. I hate to give 4 stars BUT I know, or I hope, that I will get to write an update For 5 stars when they move to their NEW location in Hutto behind the Lowes. So... the 4 stars, the viewing area and entry area are so small, there are SO many kids and parents that all arrive at the same time and it's our chaos. The kids for safety reasons need to wait until their class starts to go into the gym so it's very tight, especially when one class is letting out while the other is waiting to go in. But truly has nothing to do with the quality of the program it's just a pain. There are some people that I see even bring their own chairs just so they have a place to sit. But as I stated there is a new location in the works I'm sure they have a grand plan for this issue and I look forward to updating my review when we move to their big beautiful new gym. My other reasons for 4 stars would just be the inconsistencies in the coaching staff. It seems like there are new coaches in the tumbling class every week and my daughter has to explain she knows how to do something each week so she doesn't regress. She's small so they assume she can't do something, so at water break I have to tell her to tell them to let her do it. There are a few coaches that go well above and beyond though and remember every single girl and they must have 1000 girls there. Natalie, Paige, Tour, Chamie, Bella, so many favorites.... One I feel so bad I don't know her name but she's a huge advocate for my kids to get pushed and moved into new levels. They also offer private lessons with their coaches so if your kid needs extra help with tumbling, flying skills etc the rates are very fair for that as well.

i loved this my child loved it my daughter loves itt.best part the coaches are so hepful.read more

Our Year 2 Tiger-Rock Hutto Update!…read more We're officially heading into year two at Tiger-Rock Hutto, and watching our daughters journey has been nothing short of amazing. She's already working her way toward her brown belt, and we couldn't be more proud of how far she's come! When we started this journey, I knew Taekwondo would help her physically, but I didn't realize just how much it would impact her mentally and emotionally too. She is stronger, more disciplined, and more confident. I've watched her learn to speak up for herself, push through things that challenge her, and carry herself with a confidence that wasn't always there before. Seeing that growth as her mom has been one of my favorite parts of this entire experience. The competitions have also been such an important part of her development. They give her an opportunity to step outside of her comfort zone, apply what she's learning in class, and see where she can improve. Every competition has helped her sharpen her techniques, build confidence, and learn how to handle both wins and areas where she still has room to grow. She comes home each time stronger and motivated to keep getting better. I also want to personally recognize the Hatchetts. Going into a new place, I honestly worried about whether we would truly feel welcomed and like we belonged. Those worries didn't last long. They make a genuine effort to learn everyone's name, get to know the students and families, and build actual relationships. You never feel like you're just another customer. They know the kids, notice their progress, and take the time to recognize them when they're doing well. That means more than they probably realize. Overall, our experience with Tiger-Rock Hutto has been incredible. We've seen so much growth in Nyzhia, not just as a martial artist, but as a person. We're incredibly proud of her journey, grateful for the people who have been part of it, and genuinely happy to be part of the Tiger-Rock family. Here's to year two, next stop brown belt, and everything that comes next!

Honestly, seeing 4.8 stars is very surprising to me after what I saw, and experienced at Tumbles. A…read moremom recommended it to me after she tried a trial/intro class with her daughter and loved it. Needless to say, I didn't have that same experience she did. I waited a while to write this review to see if my feelings on this changed when I would be less upset, but I still feel the same way when I left there over a week ago. A friend and I signed up for the trial class, I showed up about 10min early with my 1.5yo and I walked into the gym. The receptionist was nice, but not super welcoming. I like how the areas were separated by a half wall, the gym on one side and the waiting area on another. I asked if I could let my toddler run around (no one was in there waiting at the time) and she said not really I had to wait for the class to end before we could hangout before our class started. She didn't really tell me where the bathrooms were or explain anything to me with it being my first time there. While I was waiting I witnessed the coach talking very negatively and down to the children in class. (8ish- 11yo I'm guessing ) it was time to clean up and she was directing them with a raised voice, calling children out saying things like "do this, move that, don't touch that, I told you not to touch that, you all aren't listening, stand here etc. but the tone and the way she was talking to these kids... Their faces said it all. I was SO uncomfortable watching this situation unfold. I'm not sure if she had an off day or what, but I would NEVER let someone talk to my child the way she did. At the end of our class the director asked me how it went, and I pulled her aside and I gave her the feedback of what I witnessed and how uncomfortable I was. She listened, but stuck by her coach and essentially said "they're in camp, and they've been a challenge today. They aren't listening or following the rules and we can't have them get hurt". Sure, I understand that they need to listen but you're telling me every single kid (15+ children) in camp, deserved to be talked to like that? No. Absolutely not. I've coached children before, and there are far better ways to round up and get your point across without yelling at them and the entire group. For our actual class/ trial lesson the coach had what felt like 10+ activities for us lined up, and seemed frustrated when my 1.5 yo and others wouldn't sit still for the welcome song/explanation and the goodbye song. At one point, she picked my child up without asking me first, not that I would mind but my friend said she would have been very upset if the coach grabbed her daughter without asking first. The activities were mediocre at best, they felt very advanced for their age, and the coach again seemed frustrated if the children didn't want to interact with her "curriculum" she planned. She was boasting about how she created it herself. We did a tiny bit of free time, balance beam, ball pit, climbing triangle pad things, bubble time, the ROCK WALL, swings, and at one point she pulled out childrens walking toys & shopping cart things & building blocks, like big legos... I thought this was a gymnastics studio? The "curriculum" felt very rushed and we weren't in each category for very long. My child, amongst the others was very curious about the storage room, which she went into almost every time we switched activities, and left the door open every time. The children just wanted to go in there so bad, and obviously couldn't which causes them to be upset & us as parents to continuously redirect or distract when it was happening. I wasn't impressed with any of it, I'm glad others found value and like the place however I saw a totally different side to the coach(es) and my experience was mediocre at best.

Yes! I finally found a place for my toddler to start some gymnastics…read more Staff is amazing. I highly recommend this place for kids 3 to 9 years old. I was able to get to know owner Angelee and coaches Ashley, Brittany and a couple of other pleasant young ladies. They all are personable and professional! Amenities are clean and new. Parents can observe and watch everything not through windows or glass, which I think is a better idea. Location is pretty convenient. I like the schedule and their make up policy. They offer birthday parties and camps. And mainly they have so much patience for little ones.
