I called to inquire and received a short and frankly disrespectful personality and attitude. I spoke kindly to her but have never had a owner speak to a potential client like that. Jumping Gym is fantastic. We started with this mobile gym at the height of covid, but it's been so fun and beneficial that we're continuing with it even though everything has opened back up. It's so convenient - everything is brought to you and it truly looks like a bona fide gymnastics studio once the coach is done setting up. It's so fun - my daughter looks forward to it every week. Coach Sara really has a way instructing the kids. She completely tailors the class to your child and even lets my daughter make her own playlists for the class. When comparing to a group class at a gymnastics studio, most of the circuits are done in serial with the kids waiting for the majority of the time. Let me PLEASE begin by saying I'm a single mother of beautiful twin daughters who will be 12 years old in March who LOVE gymnastics ! While looking through Groupon I came across a gymnastics party deal, $399 for a 90 min party! I was ecstatic cause it seemed perfect! The fine print noted the location had to be within 10 miles, I was located in Hollywood just a little over 10.3 miles away so I figure I would call the location to verify they can come out to Hollywood and availability on my daughters bday weekend ...here is how this 5 minute conversation went .. (I'm assuming it is the owner Sara Bonchek ... she never identified herself anytime during the call) Sara: hello! Me: Hi .. I was calling about your bday Groupon I came across and had questions about it. Sara: oh, that's still up there?!? I thought we got rid of that. What is it ???? what do you want? Me: .....??? I wanted to know if you would come out to my location here in Hollywood? A little over 10 miles... Sara: ummmmm... yea, I don't know about that. I'd have to check with someone else ... and when is the day of the party!?! What day do you want?!! Me: March 25, Saturday. Sara: oh, um.... yea that day is NOT available I already have plans and will be out of town..... unmmmm... yea, I don't think I'll be here. That day doesn't work. We can't do it. ...... I have to check with someone tomorrow and I'll see what I can do but likely it will be NO. What time!?! Me: well I'm confused. Are you the owner? The only one that does it for the company? Do you you have help? Is there someone available that day or not? Sara: of course I have help!!! What TIME!!?? Me: ok? ... early afternoon? Anytime really if it's only 90 min .. what ever is convenient for you guys. I noticed you list up to 10 kids. What if I have a couple more? Is there an extra fee? Sara : how many more kids will you have what is the exact count! ! ! Me: I. Don't. Know. I'm only asking IF that should occur is there an extra charge? Let's just say.. 12. Sara: what does the Groupon say!?! STICK WITH THAT! Ummmm...., let me see 12 kids... that's too many!!! Of course there will be a fee!! No more than what it says on Groupon! I'm keeping it VERY SIMPLE WITH YOU!!!! Understand!?!? SIMPLE!!! Me: wait!? What!??? Well I don't want to "keep it simple" I'm asking because there MIGHT be a possibly it is more or less kids!! I want to get all the facts correct before I go ahead and make this $400+ purchase and I don't want problems if it's more kids than expected!! Is it a problem or not!? Is there an extra fee!?!? I'm willing to PAY!!! I'm not asking for freebies!! I'm asking to be informed. I mean are you who I'm supposed to be speaking with? You seem TERRIBLY ANGRY about my call when I'm trying to give you business?! Who is the owner or the people you have to check with before you make the final decision on the answers your giving me!? I am writing this review to inform others of my experience with My Jumping Gym. I run an after school program at a local school and hired My Jumping Gym to work twice a week teaching gymnastics. The curriculum was good and Sara always had activities to teach the kids. However, week after week I had parents dropping their kids out of the class or even crying because they didn't want to attend the class. She was often late or unprepared to begin class on time. She would bring subs in to teach the class without notice and not give them the information necessary to run the class in her place. Kids would get lost on the way from her class to pick up when she was walking them. She would not check in with anyone when dropping the kids off for pick up. She never took proper attendance when picking the kids up for class. And overall, she was generally not a pleasant person to do business with, often having a rude manner about her business. read more
