I couldn't recommend this place highly enough! You can just tell the coaches here love what they do and adore children. There is so much high-quality equipment and all staff are engaging with children, teaching them and demonstrating the equipment, keeping kids safe and engaged the entire time The kids can also choose from arts and crafts when their bodies need a break. Every day she brought home cool high quality arts and crafts Most telling is the fact that I come to pick up my kid and she runs back in begging to stay longer. If that's not proof, I don't know what else is. Today I intended at my first birthday there and was again blown away by the engagement and care all of the coaches take in the kids. We just finished out first week at Camp with EC kids for my 6 year old son and 10 year old daughter and we could not have been happier. In fact , we all felt sad to leave. This was the first camp experience where both of my kids could attend together and it was a positive , enriching and wonderful experience . We just had our son's 6th Birthday here and it was a blast! JT, Debbie and team kept the kids playing and entertained right from the beginning. The party starts with a warm up and course guide and then it's off and running. The star of the show was the zip line! This is a great place for children. I'm very thankful for this gym. My son is a very active four year-old and we've tried many sports and classes in the past that didn't work out. We went to a popular gymnastics gym in the area that required Kids to wait in line for long periods of time watching demonstrations. My son used to get very frustrated because he just wanted to be active. EC Kids is completely different. The coaches are able to demonstrate the activity very efficiently while keeping the kids moving and engaged. In these classes, the children are having fun getting stronger and learning new skills both physically and mentally. I can't say enough positive things about EC kids. read more

If you're like me, sometimes you hate to publish a review because you don't want "everyone" to find out. But sometimes a place is too great that you can't keep quiet. EC Kids is that type of place. From confidence building to fun, they have everything going for them and their new permanent location is easy to get to, easy to park at, and generally a perfect fit for them. I'm super grateful we found them and can't say enough positive things. My kids tried gymnastics and hated it bc they were just sitting around or waiting in line. This place takes the best of gymnastics and combines it with an open gym, fun atmosphere to allow your kids to excel and enjoy your money's worth. Couldn't recommend enough. read more

This gym is very unique by nature, it offers only healthy foods choices and tons of physical activities. Camp program was tailored to our daughter's special needs. Which was extremely important and it's by far exceeded our expectations. Our daughter had lots of fun of making delicious smoothies made of fresh blueberries, kale and grapes, she made her own power bar snacks, practiced gymnastic tricks and participated in weekly field trips. What we also like about this camp is open door policy and open communication. JT and Debbie are always available via phone and text, they would reply to our questions promptly and even sent us pictures of our daughter. The facility this camp uses is very clean and organized. We definitely recommend this gym/camp to all! You won't be disappointed. read more

These coaches are incredible! My children thrive in Coach JT and Debbies's classes and camps. I have a 5 year old that is " slow to warm up " and he absolutely loves it here. This was his first ever camp experience and All of the coaches worked hard to make him feel part of the group and he loves challenging himself with new ninja and gymnastics skills ! We love the hands on approach to learning that ECE kids embodies and, boy do they know how to bring the FUN ! I stayed a few minutes to watch during camp and the music was playing , kids were laughing, coaches were enthusiastically teaching, and It made me want to stay and have fun too ! These coaches are the BEST! Highly recommend this class for children of all ages , I really love the mixed ages for camps, and my 7 year old daughter loves all of the art projects and my son is crazy about the super fun obstacle courses and learning new skills that he can show off later at home ! JT and Debbie put on a great camp, and JT's one-on-one coaching is outstanding. Both are fun and high energy but also include a positive message about healthy living and eating and believing in oneself. JT has a CD made up of pop songs with healthy living lyrics subbed in and I have to say, it's really well done and inspiring even for me just having it going in the car! JT brings a unique combination of experience from pro level fitness and gymnastics coaching to broadway-level musical theater. But most of all it's his loving, encouraging personality that makes him stand out. I've seen him with everyone from talented aspiring gymnasts to kids with some special needs (including my own) to typical kids looking for a fun time at summer or winter camp. My daughter has always been the kind of child who would cautiously climb to the top of the slide, pause and then hesitate, weighing all of the risks before she would finally decide to slide down. She would then clutch the sides of the slide to control her her speed on the way down. Sometimes, while perched atop the structure, she decided the risk was just too great and would carefully turn around and climb back down instead of zooming down the slide. EC Kids has helped her face her fears and given her great confidence in her body, her strength and her ability. When she first started the classes and the camps, all she really wanted was to learn how to do a cartwheel. Two years later, she has far surpassed that goal. The foundation that JT and Debbie have given her has boostered her confidence and self esteem and she is now trying new sports (lacrosse, softball, etc.). She is a different child than she was two years ago. She loves the Ninja Fitness Class and if she could go to EC Kids Camp 365 days a year she would. You'd be hard pressed to find a more well-rounded camp in Los Angeles. The kids cook, they craft, they play, they challenge themselves, set and achieve goals, explore Los Angeles and HAVE TONS OF FUN! I absolutely LOVE this place! My 2 kids (7 year old daughter and 10 year old son) also love it. The camp is centered around being healthy, in both physical activity and in eating healthy. The kids learn to make healthy foods (such as zucchini spaghetti, objects/ animals made out of fruit, pizza using cauliflower as the crust, and smoothies). The kids are also physically active every day (including obstacle courses on Ninja Wednesdays), which is great. They go to a pool and to places once a week via the train. They have been to a Sparks game and Science Center as well as other places. The staff are all wonderful and encouraging. They are uplifting and motivating. My kids were really upset when we had them in a different summer camp one week, and begged to go back to EC Kids. You can see in their videos on their FaceBook page how kind and caring they are and how much fun the kids are having. JT and the rest of the staff make every activity fun. There are children of different ages and of different mental and physical capabilities. Overall an outstanding camp for kids of all ages and abilities. I highly recommend giving this place a shot. What sets them apart is their approach to healthy living and how the staff are so kind and compassionate. You won't be disappointed and you can be sure your kids will be treated with great care. read more
