Apart from the EVOO, we enjoy the garlic and vanilla bean flavors a lot, but they offer so many other varieties. One thing I love is they provide recipe cards with suggestions on how to use their olive oils, vinegars etc. to make awesome dishes. That's how we first discovered the incredible vanilla bean olive oil waffle recipe. Another great service they provide is the ability to sample most everything. The store features other local products like jams, honey, granola etc. They have the OliveSpa line of body care products also. So many great items to shop for! Many years ago we took the tour and learned all about how the olive oil is made. And you cannot forget the Del Piero Kitchen where you can come dine for breakfast, lunch, dinner or brunch. Oftentimes on weekends they have festivals or live music on the patio. It's just a happening place - definitely worth checking out.

They also have a wonderful Italian market with aisles full of specialty foods, plus the cutest kitchen knick-knacks and gifts -- perfect for the foodies in your life. The food is fresh and delicious, whether you enjoy it there or pick something up from the fridge to take home. When the weather is nice, it's lovely to sit outside under the olive trees, and during the summer there are plenty of comfortable indoor tables. It's the perfect little getaway for a couple of hours if you're in the area. The 40-minute olive oil education experience was so enriching and absolutely worth it. Just a quick note - summer is much quieter, but be prepared-- it gets really busy in the winter!

The staff was constantly around and friendly, and the service was quicker than expected. The fruit platter that came with the daybed was much better than we have received at other resorts with the add in, and the meal and drink cost was on par. What we really enjoyed was that the music was at a relaxing volume, we were given free drinks as the resort wanted all guests to get into the holiday. Having the day bed from 10-6 was more than enough...we used 5 or 6 of the hours. Will definitely come back! Two knocks/challenges - figuring out where the pool actually was posed a challenge. We ended up walking around the massive property for a bit as the front desk was busy when we walked in and there wasn't good signage. When we found the pool all the entrances are locked and need a key card. Fortunately a staff memeber had walked near the gate and let us in.

There's lots of fun spots to sit and relax, the pool is pretty large and offers lots of beach chairs. We went at night and while the crowd was small, the groups there were partying a bit too hard for our liking. We didn't stay at the pool long. Our room was charming and had lots of southwestern character which I loved, the kitchenette had a coffee maker, fridge and sink. Bathroom was so spacious!! Two sinks is a luxury for us, and the shower was big enough to not bump into each other. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to the event, but staff and visitors have been happy, kind and helpful.

We ordered drinks and the corn elote style dip for an appetizer and it was really good, but the portion size is a bit tiny. For entrees we had the birria tacos, Chile relleno, and the flautas de papa which were all pretty good, food overall was around 8.5/10 and portions on the entrees were perfect or even a little on the large size. The service was not bad, the servers that assisted us were pleasant but everything took a very long time. Long time to order, long time for drinks, long time to get our bill and pay. We weren't in a hurry so no biggie but they need to speed it up a bit. They just reopened so I'm sure they are still working it out. Overall a good choice and we will be back!

Such a fun experience and Nick was AMAZING!…read more I went to Puttshack as part of an event, and I honestly had such a great time! I had never been to a place like this before. The last time I played putt-putt was probably when I was a kid, but once we got started, I was hooked. It was so much fun! I also loved that it's indoors and nicely air-conditioned, which is a huge plus in Arizona. The venue itself is really cool, with a great bar area downstairs and another bar upstairs. And I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Nick, the bartender upstairs. He was genuinely one of the best bartenders I can remember having in years. He was incredibly personable, friendly, and fun. I'm pretty introverted, but somehow Nick had me talking, laughing, and excited to try cocktails I normally wouldn't order. He was basically the life of our entire group, and everyone absolutely loved him. I'm still wondering why they stuck him upstairs because he was such a huge part of what made our experience so great! Overall, Puttshack is such a fun venue for an event or party, and I'll definitely be bringing my family here the next time they're in town. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and a genuinely fun experience.

Our golf was scheduled for 6p so we arrived a little early and decided to grab a drink at the bar. I saw the cucumber fizz on the cocktail menu and thought it looked delicious, but I don't drink gin. I asked the bartender if he could make it with vodka instead. He told me he couldn't substitute the gin because they have to inventory their alcohol. Strange - but OK. I asked if they are a full bar and he said yes. I then asked if he could make me a vodka soda with simple syrup, cucumber, and mint. His response was that he couldn't make it because there was no way for him to charge me for the extra ingredients. This is where I was honestly baffled. I wasn't asking for anything complicated or unreasonable. I'm not sure if the bartender was complying with policy or just didn't want to make a custom drink, but it's a full bar. The bartender could have offered an alternative but instead I was told it couldn't be done. The interaction was really disappointing. The mini golf itself was OK, the sensors didn't track 3 of our putts. We were told to report to one course to start but then got asked to start at another course. We were given balls with no explanation of how their sensor system works, so our first hole was a mess. We later saw other people checking in and getting the full run down on all the rules and nuances so we definitely missed out on the welcome factor. This was supposed to be a child-free date night, and being unable to enjoy a cocktail we actually wanted really put a damper on the experience. Could we have ordered something else? Totally. But the interaction with the bartender just made us not want to order anything. I would hope a full-service bar to could have some flexibility and, frankly, a little creativity. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

It was great to feel the 250 year celebration vibe. The "cannoli Cowboy" greeted us with made on teh spot cannoli's as we checked in. We booked with priceline and I alway feel a little scared that something will go wrong. But, all was good and everyone was very nice. they also had popcorn out to munch on after a long trip. Our room was spacious and clean. I liked the area with thecouch and just a little bit of space. The bathroom is not huge but, had everything you needed. There is a small bar downstairs and a snack for purchase area. The room pricing with or with out priceline was excellent for a weekend get away. We did not bother with the breakfast. However, online it does say free but, it was $11. With all the places within walking distance, we opted to go to a local spot. Old Scottsdale with wither a short drive or a good walk. We went to the pool and it was clean, they had towels and even beach balls and noodles. It gets a little intense when kids come as there isn't anywhere to escape them but, the covered areas have misters and tables. I would definitely stay here again.

The itty, bitty, teeny tiny bathroom, the freight train sounding heater / cooling unit, and the random flickering lights were among the largest detractors. Staying here multiple nights I concluded I didn't want to stay here again. I didn't find any staff member that wasn't cranky or exhausted. The lobby area quickly became crowded at breakfast causing chokepoints near the entrance because people were trying to find seats. The hotel was very busy while I was there. The room layout was exactly the same as other Hyatt Places that were recently remodeled but the breakfast areas of those were better laid out and the staff were friendlier so I think next time I rather stay there.
