My daughters and I visited this location on Friday, July 3rd, to have some fun indoors and escape the Arizona heat during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. We originally found them through Groupon, but when we visited their website, we noticed they were offering a 25% off promotion from July 3rd through July 5th, so we decided to take advantage of that deal. They offer both a 9-hole and an 18-hole mini golf course. The 18-hole option costs a little more, but with the promotion, it was a great value. We opted for the 9-hole course and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly, explained everything clearly, and made the check-in process easy. Since we purchased our tickets online in advance, we were able to pre-check in for our reserved time slot. It was fairly busy because of the holiday weekend, but the course flowed well. Guests simply waited for the group ahead to finish each hole before moving on, which kept things organized. They also have a restaurant and bar inside, making it easy to grab food and drinks before or after your game. We noticed they offer happy hour specials from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, although I'm not certain if those specials are available on weekends. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely visit again if we're in the area. It's a bit of a drive for us, but it was well worth the trip for a fun family outing.

Easy free parking in the garage across the street. An inviting atmosphere. Restaurant and bar too, with my kinda cocktails on the menu, of the sweeter variety. But I just came here to play mini golf. Staff was great, and I was able to start early since I arrived before my reserved play time. There are two courses on site (starting either upstairs or downstairs), you don't get to choose when you book online, at least I don't remember being given an option, they just place you in one. I did the yellow & green course (amber & emerald to be exact). Lots of lights and color with moving parts on some of the holes. And the main difference is automatic scoring via ball sensors (which means I couldn't cheat, lol). I actually never keep score when I play mini golf. But I do like getting extra tries. The place was pretty busy, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea anyway. The holes are playful and creative, but more flashy than challenging. I'm no pro though so I'm fine with that. After getting a hole-in-one on the first two holes, I was feeling pretty confident. I know it was partly luck, lol. Not surprisingly, it didn't last. I had fun, that's what matters.

Puttshack was such a fun experience. We were visiting Phoenix from NY and this was something we dont have there. It was interactive, fun and well thought out. I liked that you dont need to keep score. The balls are all tracked and the scores are kept electronically. Edward was very helpful and welcoming.

We didn't have any food, but enjoyed a drink while waiting for our tee time. The service was good, but lots of glitches on the course.

04/03/2026 My friend and I both had the day off and searched for something to do and stumbled upon Puttshack. It was so busy around noon, but it was also Good Friday so a lot of people didn't have work or school. Fortunately, we were able to book a tee time. We chose 18-holes which was two 9-hole games, on different courses. Game one was on the first level. It was actually so much fun. I loved the setup - you can see your group's info on the TV screen each time you move to the next hole. Your golf balls are tracked, so it can keep score for you. Our second game was upstairs where there was a big party finishing up ahead of us. That did slow things down a bit, but understandably. Our favorite part of each round was trivia, where you aim the golf ball into either the true or false slot to answer the question on the TV screen. Service was great - both guys that checked us in for each game were very helpful. Also, someone ahead of us had an issue with their golf ball not registering any movements, but a staff member quickly replaced it with a new ball. The staff member who oversees each course can also put in drink orders for you. That's convenient, but we didn't order anything. The game moves pretty quickly anyway. Lastly, they have a weekday offer where you buy one 9-hole game and get 50% off a second game. We would definitely come here again!

My wife, her cousin & I came for the 4th of July weekend! It was our second time there and we always have a great time!

This spot is seriously such a fun and casual hangout with friends or family! Definitely recommend making a reservation if you're planning to go on a Friday night because it gets busy! We got lucky and walked in when it was still chill, but halfway through our game it started filling up fast and felt pretty packed. There are two levels, and you get to pick which side/station you play on, so choose wisely! Service was a little hit or miss--the person who checked us in was super sweet, but when we went to grab our ball and putter, the associate seemed rushed and didn't really explain things. Thankfully we'd been before, so we already knew what to do. Pro tip: go for the unlimited play--it's the best deal. The only downside is that one person has to pay for the whole group instead of everyone paying separately (unless I totally missed something). They've also got food and drinks if you wanna snack or sip while you play. Overall, such a fun experience and perfect for both adults and kids!

I was told to check out Puttshack by another Yelp eliter. She was not wrong. While there was some initial sticker shock, unlimited golf was $25/person, it seemed more reasonable once I knew there were 4 courses to play. Play 9 holes on one course, get a text to schedule your next course. Keep popping around between the two floors and make a day of it. The technology was on point. The only time it glitched was when I went too quick and didn't give the system a chance to recognize my ball. Otherwise, tee off, finish the hole and make way for the next person. I was there on a Sunday night and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes between 9's. I'll definitely be on the lookout for these whenever I travel.

So much fun! It was hot out so this place being indoors definitely was a good move! The mini golf was worth it and the place is small but well laid out as plenty of people can enjoy the courses with how they organize tee times. The service was great and I enjoyed some old fashioned cocktails while playing. Would definitely recommend this place for you or group events.

Indoor fun for all ages. There's 4 courses and 2 bars expanding over 2 floors. On Saturday nine holes was $15 per person but if you go Sunday-Friday they have unlimited golf for $25. Definitely make reservations ahead of time so you're not waiting a long time when you get there.

This is our second visit to Puttshack. The first was in Georgia. At that location, there were also 4 courses but 2 of them were just mirrors of the others. Here there are similar holes but also unique holes to each course it seems. We did the $20 All You Can Golf deal ($10 for under 12) and it was so worth it. Came on a Monday afternoon around 4pm so it fell right within Happy Hour (M-F from 3 to 6pm). Did one course, then sat in the restaurant and filled up on HH food which was Bao Buns, Onion Dip with Chips, Chicken Quesadillas and Loaded Tots. Each of these were $6 and for our party of 4 adults + 3 small kids it was a nice spread where everyone found something they liked. There are also drinks on HH including Gin & Juice cans and 16oz draft beers. We then went through the rest of the 4 courses after eating and it filled our night without being too late to get our little ones home. We finished by about 10pm even with the kids taking a long time to golf.

Best put put place ever!!! the food there is so good but the servers/employees were kind of meh ... overall it was really fun. I loved all the neon lights.

The staff at this location is world class. Their hospitality manager, Kendall, went above and beyond by emailing the Director of Operations, Joe, and two other leaders to provide advanced notice of my group's booking preferences when I called in advance to make them aware of our preference to play the top two courses after having already played the bottom two a few times. Our waitress, Georgie, brought high energy and was so efficient and detailed in her serving. One of the managers on duty, DanPa, helped me clear up a credit card issue and get the proof of payment I needed for my card company. If you book the two-course option, they allow you to upgrade to the unlimited play option on the day of for the same price difference between the two options as when you originally booked. Such a great option! We even had two people in our party no-show, and DanPo gave me four single-course play gift cards without even a second thought. Everyone there was so incredibly pleasant! Our group dined after playing two rounds of nine holes each. We were surprised at the quality of the food. The fries, burgers, and wings were outstanding, and everything came served hot and fresh. Monday through Friday during happy hour from 3pm-6pm, wings are only $1 each. I ordered the shrimp skewers, which were a light and high-protein option, but they were a bit undercooked and the feta in the Greek salad was a bit overpowering. If you love feta, you might like that. The tzatziki sauce they use is homemade, and I thought it was a bit watery but still tasted fine. They offer plenty of discounts through their Puttshack Perks program, weekday discounts, and coupon codes sent after you putt (I got a 50% off coupon via text immediately after leaving today). They crank the air conditioning inside, so it's very comfortable to putt even when it's triple digits outside. The top two courses are generally less busy than the bottom two, but they often get bought out for private parties. If they're available when you go, play them while you can!

Che greeted us and attended to us. His professionalism, friendliness, and hospitality were truly off-the-charts levels of amazing! He gave us details about the course, the 3D effects (TRULY impressive), the "hidden name" scavenger hunt, and some details about the establishment. I was very appreciative of his sanitizing each set of 3D glasses, golf club, and golf ball before giving them to his customers. That small touch goes a LONG way! I was also very impressed with the web-based scorekeeping system for both the game and name scavenger hunt. The course itself is extremely well-done, with a lot of unique obstacles and challenges. Che called out to us, and asked if we wanted to have another round, free of charge. This is INCREDIBLY generous, and we eagerly and gratefully accepted because we weren't able to find half of the hidden names. We found a few more names on the second round, and returned our gear again. Che said, "One more thing before you go", and gave us $1 worth of quarters to play a round of air hockey. This incredibly kind gesture was hugely appreciated, and meant a huge amount to us. We had a blast playing air hockey, and left feeling hugely uplifted and happy from Che's unparalleled and over-the-top customer care. Now my buddy this man reaches into his pocket and pulls out what I can only describe as a historical artifact. I'm talking a doobie so big it looked like Bob Marley himself rolled it during a greatest hits tour. I said, "Absolutely not. I am a grown man. I got responsibilities. I got a mortgage. I got snacks at home I haven't even finished yet." That didn't matter. Next thing I know, windows are up, car turns into a Dutch oven of bad decisions, and now I'm just along for the ride literally and spiritually. Somewhere between "this is a bad idea" and "why is everything funny," I lost control of the evening. We pull into the park around that magical time you know, that in-between hour... not quite day, not quite night... like God dimmed the lights and said, "Alright boys, let's see what happens." The whole place is glowing neon lights, arcade buzz, roller coasters rattling in the distance. Felt like walking into a carnival dream... or maybe a fever dream. Jury's still out. Now here's the thing about this place it's been around since the late '70s, sitting right there in Phoenix like a desert time capsule of fun. You got four roller coasters, including the Desert Storm, which sounds fun until you're on it reconsidering every life choice that led you there. Then there's the Patriot wooden, loud, and about as gentle as a bar fight. And somehow... SOMEHOW... we thought tequila beforehand was a good idea. So now we're buzzed, slightly baked against our will, and wandering this park like three philosophers who lost their notes. We're laughing at everything. Nothing's funny but everything's hilarious. A trash can? Comedy gold. A churro? Best thing I've ever eaten in my life. A child running past me? I'm emotionally invested in his journey. But I'll give credit where it's due the park itself? Clean. Staff's friendly. Nobody's judging three grown men giggling like idiots. It's got that old-school charm too arcades, mini golf, rides, the whole deal. You can bring a family here... or whatever version of a situation we were. Now the rides... oh, the rides. Let me tell you something nothing will make you rediscover fear like being slightly out of your mind on a roller coaster you thought you could handle. I got scared... not once... not twice... but a few times. The kind of scared where you start making promises to God you don't intend to keep. "I'll be a better man if I survive this drop..." Didn't mean a word of it. By the end of the night, we had the munchies, the laughs, and just enough dignity left to get back to the car without needing a group meeting. For a couple hours, though? We were kids again. No responsibilities. No stress. Just lights, noise, and pure, ridiculous fun. So yeah Castles N' Coasters might be a family amusement park... but under the right or completely wrong circumstances, it turns into one hell of a story. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just... maybe crack a window on the way there.
