Titan Gym is honestly one of the best gyms I've been to in years. While it's a smaller facility, it…read moretruly has everything you need to reach your personal fitness goals--whether that's general strength training, bodybuilding, powerlifting, or simply shedding a few pounds. There's plenty of equipment to go around, and even during peak hours you rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes to use a machine, bench, or squat rack. The gym is also exceptionally clean; it's clear the owners take pride in the space, because you'll barely find a speck of dirt or even a smudge on the mirrors. The owners, Norm and Joanna, are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They're also very knowledgeable trainers who offer personalized training sessions tailored to your individual goals. What Titan Gym may lack in size, it more than makes up for with its sense of community. The members are incredibly welcoming and diverse--ranging from college students and young professionals to parents and older adults staying active in their later years. It's a place that supports both casual gym-goers and serious lifters alike (including a member who recently placed first in a state powerlifting competition). You also won't find the stereotypical "gym bro" atmosphere here--people are respectful of each other's space, time, and noise levels. The people here also organize activities outside the gym as well, ranging from Spartan races and marathons to casual hikes, beer festivals, concerts, and even weekend gaming. At the time of writing this review, Titan Gym is located in Alamo Ranch, though they plan to move to a much larger facility later this year (close to the Santikos Theatre). That will be a great step forward, as the current space can feel a little cramped in certain areas. Still, even in its current form, Titan Gym manages to create an environment that feels welcoming, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. I'm personally a Texas transplant, and finding this gym went a long way to making this place a new home.

Its a bit hidden , and you have to KNOW about it to KNOW about it , but hey ... That's how Chad likes it... If you have not been by , stop in , give the owner a hug and tell him you read his brothers comments on YELP and were wondering about the Brother to Brother discount ... He cant edit anything I post on here so why not . But for real , First week free if you tell him Brett sent you ~ ( Only applies to new clients ) On a slightly different note , Chad has done well with himself and still maintains his body the shape it is in , while eating roughly 14 pounds of bacon per week. If you want to work out HARD and learn how to better your body , get amongst it ~

I loved going to the classes so much, I decided to continue going and I still go as of March 2017. Chad is my favorite trainer I have ever worked with. He adjusts the workouts to fit your personalized needs/goals which is something I was looking for in the beginning. I tried Crossfit, but I really couldn't lift what they were telling me to. When I worked with chad he started me on things I could actually do and we slowly worked our way up - this is all while the group is working at the same time on the same thing; it's all based on your personal max-outs. Chad is also the type of trainer who gives you your space. He isn't on top of you of why you're not at a class but at the same time, knows when you're just being lazy! He is also very understanding and flexible. The 5:30 am class is a little too early for me, but the 6:30 am class is too late so he suggested I come at 6 am and I work between the classes. It's great and really fits my needs! If you're looking to get started in fitness or looking for someone to help you continue your journey you have found the right place!

So this is one of your smaller more 24/7 local gyms. Meant to come in work out and be a minute or two from home. I try to walk the 3 miles too and from my house in the alamo ranch area. You get a little rfid tag to get in, I wish they had an app so all I would have to bring would be my phone. But I'm just being picky. Just don't step outside, forget your card inside, and get locked out! Did that one night, had to wait an hour till someone else showed up so I could get my car keys doh! I think the only negative I have for this place is the small changing room/Bathroom. There is a shower and a stall for the toilet. With a small bench to change on. The door is right next to the bench so your either changing in the shower or in the toilet stall. Which isn't bad, just wish there were lockers to lock my stuff up in. They do have cubby boxes up front so that you feel like your in kindergarten again. They are right up front so at least you get the better set of mind that the person at the door will be watching over your stuff.

There are not enough good things in the English language to say about Tina Gordon's RxPhysique…read moreprograms. I started out 2 months ago as an online lifestyle client, having no formal training before, and since the process began, I have decided to not only compete, but to sign on for continued training post competition, and compete in the spring. My first competition is 24 weeks away. I have lost 18 lbs in 2 months, weight I didn't know I was holding, I have not cut out all of the carbs in my diet(in fact I'm eating whole nutrient dense foods now than before). My training plan and cardio plan is supported by Tina herself as well as an in person coach in San Antonio weekly to tweak my movements. For a long time I have struggled with body dysmorphia (as lots of young women do) and have bounced between physically demanding sports. For this reason, I do not count calories or weigh myself daily, Tina has programmed my diet in a way that gives her full control. I eat what she tells me, and work at the intensity level she asks of me. I cannot explain the amount of freedom and confidence that comes with hiring someone who knows your goals and gets you there safely. It's like boxing up my self criticism and giving it to someone else to handle. However, this program is tough(one of the most mentally and physically demanding things I have ever done), and it requires honesty and transparency on all counts. Tina is THERE FOR YOU, even through deviations. If you are serious about transforming your body and your perspective- I recommend her for it all. Through her move to California she has not ceased communication or attentiveness. She is passionate, serious about her work, critical of movements and form, knowledge of all things relevant to competing, and can help you hit new goals.

Two days after payment cleared, she announced she was leaving San Antonio for California within a month. That month turned into a few weeks. Initially she tried to persuade me and my workout partner to work with her online. After requesting refund instead, I was eventually shorted one session. Tina has ignored my communication to review her schedule and my swipe-in days to reconcile the days she left early and the day she overslept and did not show. In other words, she's just ignoring me. I feel she was deceptive from the beginning. She knew she was leaving when she offered us the dual workout plan and used our payments to fund her relocation. My recommendation is to use someone with integrity.
