The guide was friendly and knew a lot about each individual wolf that was there. The presentation seemed more geared toward younger folks or those without any background in biology/wildlife, but it was still informative. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and know that you'll be parking across the street from the long driveway, by a run-down gas station, to meet the tour guide. I definitely suggest doing a tour if you're in the area. It's amazing how the guides can reach in and pet them and the way they seek affection! (You cannot touch them yourself, no matter how cute and fluffy they seem) We even got the hear them howl a few times, a rare occurrence, and they all chimed in.

I moved to Eugene and was thinking wouldn't it be great if Eugene had such a place, and lo and behold, MECCA! It's like Seattle ReCreative but 10+ times larger! Paint, canvas, paper, folios, yarn, fabric remnants, yogurt tubs, wine bottles, plant pots, scrapbook papers, so much fun stuff to get you thinking creativity on a budget. My only suggestion is they might find a way to fill in the huge puddle right in front of their door, and that they somehow get more parking spaces!
