My cousin and I…read morewent together on November 10, 2025, for routine eye exams, and both appointments felt extremely rushed. My cousin's exam lasted only about four minutes, and mine was similarly brief. Shortly after the visit, we both developed pink eye, which raised serious concerns about the care and hygiene during the appointment. During multiple follow-up visits, the approach felt repetitive and dismissive. Dr. Salzman primarily prescribed antibiotic eye drops at nearly every visit, even after my pink eye had already cleared. There was little explanation provided, and no meaningful discussion of what might be causing the ongoing issues. At one visit, she noticed an eyelash in my eye and again defaulted to prescribing more drops. At my last visit on Tuesday, I still had an issue with my left eye and was once again given antibiotic drops without a thorough evaluation or clear explanation. Overall, the appointments felt rushed and overly focused on prescribing medication, rather than carefully examining the issue or addressing concerns. I did not feel listened to or properly evaluated, and I left feeling frustrated rather than reassured. I expected a much more careful and patient-centered experience, especially for what began as a routine eye exam.

Her diagnostic skills are unmatched and she has a caring heart to go along with it. She goes out of her way to make her patients feel comfortable and I always leave her office knowing I just saw the Best Ophthalmologist there is. Her bedside manner is beyond great. I am lucky to have her as my opthamalogist and the people I have recommended to her have been very satisfied. All around, " Great"

Eye surgery was performed by Wilson Ko, M.D. who did a mediocre haphazard job. Post-operation after care was non-existential as my family member was in utter abject pain and intensely suffering intolerably. My family member was instructed to be seen by two (2) separate charlatan O.D. on three (3) consecutive dates who both are inexperienced, faineants speaking Mandarin via interpreter for obfuscate the truth were futile as treatment of a medical laboratory mouse experiment. So, my family and I travelled here to this office every single freaking day only to be seen by another charlatan O.D. for hum ma, hum ma as a cock and bull story response?? Low and behold my family member blurted in English boisterously loud her opposition with strong repartee whom the staff were nonplussed. What kind of M.D. doctor who does NOT accept responsibility for follow-up post-operation after care of his patients for surgeries that HE performed? The staff and charlatan O.D. always cited "he's on vacation" or "he's working in his Brooklyn office" and followed by "he's working in his Flushing office" as every excuse under the sun for the inability to treat my family member to elude himself from the medical responsibility and accountability!! Wilson Ko, M.D. lacks ethical behavior provoking ire from my family member and family. Possibly ergophobia? Egregiously excessively poor ophthalmology and poor customer service specifically targeting the elderly. Faineants!! Wilson Ko, M.D. is the most professionally qualified, most experienced doctor in this eye care clinic, Advance Medical Eyecare that contains multiple ophthalmologists but is unavailable all the time!! Patients will endure a perilous unhealthy lifelong circuitous journey.

Unfriendly & unprofessional staff…read more $83.19 for the doctor who didnt even bother to introduce himself and to half- heartedly take a look at my mole and say it was benign. Didnt say hi, didnt tell me who that other random guy in the room was, didnt tell me what the mole even was, and total time spent was ~1 min. The doctor didnt even look like he wanted to be there and bother with me. I work in healthcare, i work directly with patients. I would never treat them this way. The price isnt even the actual issue, it's the service received. You dont treat patients like this. Fuck this place. Never coming back. Went to another derm and got charged only $15. Staff was so nice & efficient. Doctor didnt rush me and was happy to answer my questions.

I called for an appt. I first asked to make sure that my insurance is accepted or their facility is "in-network". When we got there, the front desk said we do not accept your insurance. But then said "wait, let me check." After 15mins she came back and said, "your insurance is good to go". After the seeing the doctor, i went back to the desk to check out. I asked for co-pay which always do before leaving doctor's offices. They said, you have no co-pay. And I said are you sure? Then said, you'll be paying 30% of the total bill... Misleading! Very deceitful just collect money! Staff and even the doctor that examined my daughter didnt wash their hands before and after, not even hand sanitizer. The nurse went straight to his computer without even looking to our faces upon entering the exam room. Not even a "hi". The doc just looked at my daughter, probably 2mins. We're all done. As soon as the doctor left the room, the nurse said, "you are good to go" while still looking at his computer. The Worst experience in my entire life! Unprofessional to the highest level!
