Bought my daughters first pair of pointe shoes today and they knew exactly what she needed. June's is my go to spot for dance wear. I have 2 dancers in my house and Judy and Tamara have always taken great care of my girls. We are definitely not just a number when we go there. Yes, it's small and tight, but I still prefer to shop here over any of the other dancewear shops in the area. Just left and the owner was rude. I purchased a large unitard and I am 5'8 size 14. We wore them once to dance for church and the arm pits started to rip apart from the seem. She gladly exchanged them once for me,but it happened again. It wasn't just my unitard but the other ladies as well. One lady is a previous skinny ballerina so there was no way hers was to small (size large 5'10). The owner was angry when I called the 2nd time and tried to blame us and said we bought them to small. Yet, she did give us our money back so I won't complain there. Just don't appreciate the looks and difficult conversation when your product was defective. Customer service is so important. read more
