The were two flavors when we were here: lemon custard and white chocolate. The lemon is the obvious winner though the taste of lavender was super subtle as opposed to the white chocolate. The white chocolate ends up being rather muted as a flavor which allows the lavender to come through.

The selection was amazing. I found a nice 12.00 bottle of hand lotion as well as a couple of small sachets for 50 cents each. The attendant was friendly and professional. My sister and I particularly liked the lavender & mint combo and bought a couple bottles of the body soap. They also had cute gifts with lace, such as toilet paper holders with lace frill (something every girlie girl should have in her powder room)! There was also several cute tea sets and such to choose from. This is a great place to find little presents for girlfriends, moms and mother-in-laws! The only flaw was that everything had to be rung up by hand and written down in a book, which took exponentially longer than we expected-especially when she accidentally added an extra zero to our final amount making it over $1000 (which she then retyped in everything again).

From the call to the shop, the actual notary services and checkout was all handled with friendly, efficient and helpful service for $15 per person for a stamped page. The shop was larger than I expected, looked new and I was pleasantly surprised by all the cute cards, fun lil gifts and local bric a brac. It was a pretty busy place but the staff didn't miss a beat.

I come for the chili and pie. Both are delicious. I add on sour cream and cheese with Fritos to my chili and get a bowl. It's enough to fill me up for two meals. But for most a bowl is nice and hearty to fill you up. A cup will want you craving for more. The Marion berry pie is absolutely delicious. A bit on the pricy side but that's just the economy inflating everything. I would say it's worth it. The Berrys are nice and tart and the crust and crumb are buttery goodness. I always eat this pie while I'm driving and regret not getting two slices. I got the Bedford ginger beer and it was pretty tasty. Overall, if I'm ever in the area and even if I'm 1.5 hours away I come here. Get yourself some pie and chili.
