Had an appointment with Andrea to lift and color my hair and was not disappointed. She's so sweet and kind, made good conversation, and was really accommodating with my needs. I have really dark hair so she first did a test strand to see how well my hair lifted. After a while she went straight to lifting my hair and was so thorough with the entire process that I ended up sitting in her hair for almost 5 hours, lol. I explained how I wanted my bangs cut and she also provided some insight for how it would look and how it should be styled. Afterwards, she gave me some pointers for care and I ended up buying a color-safe shampoo/ conditioner. The salon in general is really clean and open, plus the vibes are friendly and welcoming. My hair was pretty bad and I was in need of a trim and color. I sent a message and they replied to me pretty quickly with availability the same day. I came in and was greeted immediately. Yesenia came out from the back and sat me down. We discussed what I was trying to accomplish and she suggested a root touch up and just toning up the blonde highlights that I already had. This girl worked her magic and OMG it was perfect! She brought my hair back to life and made it look so good. She actually listened to me when it came to cutting my hair and didn't cut more than I asked which I really appreciated that. The salon is nice and clean and it's in a shopping center with plenty of parking. They had a good music and everyone was nice. I definitely recommend Yesenia and the salon in general. I am not someone who religiously goes to the salon to get their hair done, but I needed a trim and color done and my friend frequents this establishment. I decided to give them a try and am happy I did. The salon has a great atmosphere and is also very clean. The name of my stylist was Nina Forrest. She was extremely kind and receptive to what I had to say. I actually got my hair colored the same as hers because I loved it so much. She even curled my hair after, which made me feel really pretty and even recommended some great products for me to try on my own hair. The entire process start to finish took a little less than 2 hours. She definitely knows what's she's doing seems to be really dialed in to her craft. I'll be seeing her again next time I need to get my hair done. read more

Here is another Yelp review for lovely Marissa. I don't have time to for these immature games. But she deserves to be called out on for her unprofessionalism and lies. If you look at the picture I posted, you will see Marissa said pretty much the very opposite of everything I wrote in my first post. So let me make another few points straight 1. Yes she did offer me the baylage and I declined. 2. She did NOT explain to me When she bleaches my entire head that the dark purple I asked for would be bright bright purple. And also her saying she was going to fix it the next day.. No that is a lie, Marissa showed no remorse that I was so unhappy with what was done with my hair and crying in her salon.. She told me she can "squeeze" me in on Friday, I had gotten my hair done on Monday. Yes it was a while ago about more then a year but I remember this day so clearly because I've never been so mortified, I even was telling my sister, how can I go to school for a whole week looking like this? Also.. Her coworker "hearing everything was said"..no she didn't, her coworker had clients the whole time I was there and busy talking to them, so no I don't see how the co worker could vouch for what happened but so what if the co worker for. I don't lie.. I wouldn't be wasting my time on Yelp writing false reviews. The comment she made of "thank god I've never dealt with any other clients like that" case and point as to why she is the one of the most unprofessional people I have dealt with. I came in there with a simple task. And came out with a horrible outcome and she did not make any effort to fix the problem but instead tells me to wait a week and then she texts my sister and sends her a picture of my 1st Yelp review. My sister defends me and it takes Marissa about a second to delete her off of Facebook and Instagram. Which is totally fine. Free world, do as you please. So once again my Yelp friends. I went to Amanda, the owner, on the recommendation of a friend after having my hair colored by another salon here in town. Not only was I happy with the new color of my hair, I can honestly say that after 18 months of her coloring and styling my hair, it has never, EVER looked better or more healthy. Amanda is the only person I have ever given free rein with when it comes to color and she never disappoints me with how great it looks. I constantly receive compliment and there is no other hairdresser (other than Marissa who works here as well) I'd trust to touch my hair now. Attention CURLY GIRLS....Thania is who you need to be going to for haircuts, color, whatever!!! I've tried it all; Deva cuts to texturizing and all those left my hair so uneven! Thania gave me my curls back. And the color...where do I begin...I'm letting my grey's come out and she has helped me blend them with light caramel highlights. At first, I was like where is she going with this...but trust the process! My hair was dark brown/black (color treated) with grey roots, it wasn't blending well IMO. She added those caramel highlights and...I LOVE IT! Eventually the grey will blend much more even, than with that dark brown/black hair I had. Thank you, Thania!!!!! Customer service is average but if you know what you're looking for, product availability is vast! They have a large selection of higher end products and offer competitive pricing. Marissa is amazingly talented!! She's extremely nice and always takes such good care of me when I'm in her chair. She's even offered to grab me food from the nearby Chinese Restuarant while my hair is processing, what stylist do you know even does that? I love her, she's beautiful inside and out. She listens, offers great advice on what the next healthy step we should take on my hair and is upfront of what to expect. On one occasion my hair didn't come out as planned (so many boxed dyes I've done on myself) BUT she did whatever she could to fix it and make me happy .
