A friend recommended that I try the North Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) Pet Pantry, and I couldn't be happier. I can purchase a package of 6 washes for around $50. Hmmm.... $8 vs. $24.... let me think about that. Also, they have hydraulic bath tubs, so you don't have to strain your back loading Fido into the tub or getting him out. The driers work fine. The wash areas have separate rooms, so you don't have a problem with unnecessary dog-to-dog interactions. Staff are friendly, providing extra towels and grooming brushes. What's not to like?
