This is a somewhat small but well-stocked shop and the owner is very helpful and friendly. From what I can tell, they are a bit more of a boutique freshwater fish supplier than an all-purpose fish store. They have gars and puffers and gorgeous flowerhorns and plenty of other exotic fish I'd never seen or heard of before - many of them far too big or expensive for my modest tanks and budget. Still, they're always fun to look at and admire. The shop has multiple rows of tanks and all of them appeared clean and well-maintained. It's clear they are passionate about what they do and work hard at keeping healthy and varied species. After talking with the owner a couple of times, I decided to go with some beautiful electric blue acaras. I'm planning to add a severum, perhaps a pleco or two and will definitely be checking out this shop for any new fish I add down the road.

Unfortunately I trusted the advice given to me by Jacob and I purchased a flower horn blue polar parrot hybrid juvenile. When I got home and did some more research I realized how unfit my tank is for this type of fish. It has already began eating the fins off of my long fin Cory's and it is also going after the Khuli loaches. I now have to rush around and try to find a different home for this fish. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend going here unless you know what you are looking for and you know not to take their advice cause they are only trying to sell you fish you don't need can't provide for. I feel extremely taken advantage of.

We were cycling another aquarium for Cychlids and went to Keepin It Reef, best decision we have made in years. In the end Reisa asked if we really wanted Cychlids, because our desire and discussion was really better suited for a change to Saltwater. Reisa and Joel patiently walked us through the pros and cons and that afternoon we had drained our aquarium and we were cycling Saltwater. We visited several times for free water checks and to pick their brains as we "patiently " waited for the tank to cycle. Well today is my wife's birthday and we visited again with hopes that our tank had cycled to a point where it was safe to introduce the first fish. Reisa, Joel and Alexa confirmed that the tank was there and we are so excited to welcome our first pair of Clownfish. Their location is clean, organized, and their staff has always been friendly. Figuring out the needs of a new dog has been challenging and their staff has always been patient when answering all my questions. They've made great toy recommendations in regards to our sweet plush-destroying pup. When picking up dog food late one night their staff walked me to my car and help load my items.
