As we are relocating to the Valley of the Sun one of the most important things for a guy is finding that right barber. Now... since I knew I had a few months prior to my departure to Arizona I did some digging on local barbers and came across this location and knew I had to check it out upon arrival. I have to say Junior took care of me from my initial message through Yelp then to my phone call for my scheduled appointment and my visit there. He was on point with the cut and a master on the clippers. I had a great cut at Jrs last week. The shop has a stag/dapper feel to it which I love. I used Yelp to set up my first cut- super quick response time; same day visit. I learned they are pretty organized and efficient so walk-ins are very welcomed. My favorite part of the service was that my barbers consultation was very informative. He showed me how uneven my cut just 4 weeks ago left my hair. I knew it just didn't look right and never styled quite the way I'd like. I'm excited that he is fixing it. This place is by far the best barber spot in the valley. I have been to many barber shops and finally found this one on yelp. It is a 25 mins drive for me but what I don't care the cut makes up for the distance. Junior is always my go to barber but when he is busy the other barber's are as good as him. Junior makes sure to hire people that take this job seriously, with respect, and strive to make very cut their best one. Got in town several weeks ago from Astoria Oregon with this wild white hair all over my face. Don't get me wrong, I like the wild look. The wilder the better. I've been wanting a special cut, but was always afraid it wouldn't be me. Well I made an appointment, only to cancel a day later. What a coward I was... I knew it... but couldn't let it pass. I showed up the next day anyway as a walk in. Any wait was my own fault. Friendly barbers the whole bunch. They were having fun cutting hair. I liked the cut, but I asked if the barber could hit my skin fade with a razor, and he said ok and he started putting shaving cream and hot towels everywhere. I thought ok maybe this is a first timer treatment and then he finished and said $45. I liked the cut, but I would t spend $45 on a haircut EVER, and you would be a fool if you would. I tipped (because i have manners)$5 which brought one haircut up to $50. Needless to say, that was the last dollar that they will get from me. read more
