Full toilet, floor and shower remodel in the East Bay.
    Angelo C.

Full toilet, floor and shower remodel. I would recommend this company to anyone who would like to do any remodel or painting or any handy work that needs to be done in their homes. They are very detail oriented, explained everything what they are going to complete every day, easy to read contract and break down of each cost and very hard working and got the job done with ease and efficiency. They are also clean while doing the job and when they leave for the day that way you are not scrambling to walk around the project/work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED COMPANY! Thank you for the beautiful remodel successfully completed in less than two weeks. We will certainly keep your company in mind for future projects. Linda, Alfredo and workers are very friendly and will assist you every step of the way of your project.

    Before - small kitchen

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JUNIORS CONSTRUCTION. We recently had them do a major kitchen remodel and they did a phenomenal job. What was once a small kitchen and a small dining area is now one large kitchen! We really appreciated that they: * Were on site all the time - Alfredo and his helper did all of the work with the exception of the countertops, some electrical, and appliance installation. Even at that, he was on site when this work was being done in case anything came up and he was needed * Had good rapport with the other workers and even helped us get necessary drawings that the city required and then helped us get permits from the city * Cleaned up every day before leaving including sweeping the garage so that we could put cars away at night * Linda helped with the design and both Alfredo and Linda accompanied us to the kitchen showroom to select the materials, making recommendations on different items. That was really helpful since we had never done anything quite like this before. * They are super friendly and helpful and even had a kind word for our nosy dog! To sum it up, Juniors Construction is reliable, honest, and reasonably priced. I look forward to our next project!

Update - after they gave the me kitchen of my dreams, they gave me the bathroom of my dreams! Same exceptional work and customer service! I look forward to more projects :)

About ten years ago, we had a very poor experience with a painter who used improper preparation materials and techniques that were not suitable for a home of this age and type of wood siding. We ended up stopping the project midway and settling for a basic paint job from someone else just to move on. This time, we wanted our home properly repaired and thoughtfully restored. After watching a neighbor's home be beautifully prepped and painted by Level Five Painting, we were genuinely impressed and decided to reach out. The owner, Juan, came out for a walk-through and quote. He was gracious, knowledgeable, and patient with all of our questions. We immediately felt we could trust him and didn't feel the need to get other quotes. Our home was assigned to the project manager, Ivan, along with Juan and Daniel, who handled the preparation and painting. They spent about three weeks -- Monday through Saturday; meticulously sanding, repairing, priming, and painting. We were blown away by Juan and Daniel's work ethic. They worked incredibly hard, stayed focused, and treated our home and property with the utmost respect. Every day, they left the worksite clean, organized, and well cared for. Ivan was wonderful to work with as he was responsive, communicative, and present throughout the project. He checked in frequently, answered our questions quickly, and made sure everything stayed on track. What truly set this team apart was their deep knowledge of their craft and the pride they take in their work. Their level of professionalism, skill, and work ethic is something that, sadly, feels increasingly rare these days. It was refreshing to work with a team that genuinely cares about doing things the right way. The final result exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only did they revive our Craftsman home, but they also corrected many of the issues left behind from prior poor workmanship. Our home now looks refreshed, cohesive, and truly ready for its next chapter. Because of the quality of their work and the trust they earned, we've already booked Level Five Painting for our next project -- preparing and staining the interior wood trim throughout our home. We highly, highly recommend Level Five Painting.

Unfortunately, after a miscommunication about part of the project, which I thought we had resolved amicably (I compensated him for the materials he had already used), he later admitted he was upset and had been purposely avoiding my follow up communication. He left the original job on Friday saying he would return the following week to finish a few remaining items. After that, I spent over a month trying to get a response, with little to no communication and no explanation for this treatment. When I finally expressed my frustration, he admitted he had intentionally been ignoring me because of the earlier misunderstanding and offered to send someone to finish the outstanding tasks, "if that's what I was upset about." That level of unprofessionalism was far more disappointing than the few remaining tasks on the project. Misunderstandings happen, but they shouldn't result in giving a customer the silent treatment and leaving a job unfinished. I cannot recommend someone who responds to conflict by avoiding communication completely.

I ultimately went with Ron because he explained the whole siding process well, he used only high quality materials, and was very reasonable with his quote and estimate. He provided a perfect color match and was able to give us the color samples for HOA approval and helped us with the building permit. Ron and his team are detail-oriented and thorough, even looking at weather forecasts to ensure they're cleared to start the siding work and Ron was very communicative throughout the project. They even helped my parents replace the dry rotted framing around our door/garage and helped us replace their utility doors because they had water damage and dry rot. Leo was the one leading the project on site and him and his team were very friendly, professional, and tidy. The house looks amazing and they are very happy with the outcome. Thank you again!

Don't let the lack of yelp reviews fool you!…read more We needed siding done on our house. I used the yelp project messenger and blasted everyone who did siding in the bay. I talked and got quotes from 7 different businesses. I then, highly researched each company ( from yelp to google review, Angie's list, home improvement FB groups, you name it, I checked it! ) I told them I would get back to them in a week to see who I felt comfortable with. Out of the 7 only 4 followed up. Out of the 4, 3 came in about the same between 60-70k and 1 came in around 50k. Attico was one of the 3. So why did I choose Ron? He was on time and informative, he answered all our questions. He came prepared with siding samples, and was able to measure and give us a general quote within 24 hours. He helped us with getting a permit and helped us touch up paint on the doors as well. We also felt comfortable that we didn't have to pay up front. We had to do a deposit (10%) for him to order everything. It took about 4 or 5 weeks to get the siding in. The process was fast! Once the permit was issued his team was here the following day! The guys were great! Very polite, hardworking and quick! They started on a Wednesday took a weekend off and came back and ended on a Wednesday. After every day they cleaned up throughly, which was great since we have a toddler who loves her back yard. I could not recommend the crew enough! Leo who was in charge was great! many of the guys don't speak English and I don't speak Russian well, and I'm not sure if he could tell me and my partner apart ‍ so there was some miscommunication but Ron was able to settle it easily and quickly! (And I didn't feel frustrated or stressed about it) They also replaced all the vents ! The crew did end up cracking a window. They told us right away and ordered it asap (custom sized) they replaced it within a few days of finishing the job! Of course with no cost to us. I can not recommend Ron and his team at Attico siding enough! I trust that Ron stands by his word and the siding!

He is one of the most honest and quality-focused contractors I have ever worked with. During planning, I spoke to a number of other contractors who wanted to use retrofit windows and just leave the siding in place. Alan took the time to explain the proper way that the building wrap, siding and windows had to interface to get waterproofing, and how we were better off replacing all three if we wanted to be sure we'd fix our problem. Even with this extra scope, Alan's pricing was very fair. Thank god we went with Alan. When they removed the existing siding, they found severe water damage underneath the siding and a subpar earlier repair job. When this surprise came up, Alan talked us through the damage and gave us our options. They ended up ripping up two layers of existing siding, cutting out damaged building sheathing and replacing it with new plywood, before proceeding with the job. The overrun costs were very reasonable and we never felt like Alan was taking advantage of us. The end result was great quality at a fair price, and peace of mind that our issues have been resolved and we won't have to worry about the front / roof for a long time now. I would definitely hire Alan again and would recommend him to anyone looking for this kind of work.
