I don't particularly care for waffles but decided to try one and I am sure it is the best waffle that I have had in a very long time. I am staying in the Romance room; it's very comfortable but small. It does have its own bathroom; not all the rooms have private bathrooms so make sure and ask. The Inn is self checkin and very easy. I love the outside space and sitting on the patio. I would definitely come again.

It's off in a neighborhood, so you feel like you're getting a real feel for what it is like to live in the area. There were two bathrooms, one with a claw foot tub, and I had an excellent bath. The other bath had an amazing walk in shower. I fell in love with the creative, and thoughtful design of the spaces and Steve was generous with his time and showed me another space in the triplex. Such creative design, it was just fun to hang out in the house. Bend is surrounded by incredible natural beauty, so we went hiking every day. The hot tub at the end of the day was perfect. The kitchen is set up fully so, it would be easy to cook though we didn't since Bend is filled with great restaurants. Both Alex and Steve are great hosts. This place is amazing and I would highly recommend choosing to stay at one of the Enchanted Dwellings, I know we will be back on our next trip to Bend.

The cabins are spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful, high-end touches. We always try to book one along the edge of the property facing the trees, and the views never disappoint. Waking up to a forest instead of a parking lot is hard to beat. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom is better than most luxury hotels, with a separate water closet, a large shower, and a deep soaking tub that fills from the ceiling. Beyond the cabins, the entire property is designed for relaxation. There are walking trails throughout, a welcoming lodge with plenty of space to gather, a well-maintained pool, and extensive grounds that encourage you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. One of our favorite things about FivePine is its location. It's an easy walk into downtown Sisters, which meant we could start our mornings with a stroll to Sisters Coffee and a visit to the local bookstore before heading back to enjoy the rest of the property. The lodge also has restaurants, a movie theater, and a spa on site, which I've reviewed separately. I could keep describing it, but honestly, the photos tell the story better than I can. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, FivePine is a wonderful choice. Will we be back? Absolutely. Another con which sucked was their shades aren't black out curtains. They need to upgrade those. I couldn't even bring them to fully cover my window. I felt bad for the front desk staff trying to check in a long line of guests because the computer system was very slow and we all waited a long time. I am writing this review on my phone while waiting for my computer to load because the internet keeps going in and out, and when it is working, it is VERY slow. Also, the bathroom area is outdated. My sink is cracked, the toilet seat is peeling, and the shower is dripping all night. The cleaning is suspect, as I found old contacts on the bedside lamp. The furniture choices are uncomfortable: a fuzzy stool for the desk and metal chairs for the table. The desk and fridge are full of snacks and beer for purchase (not my thing but maybe others appreciate?). The outlets by the bed and desk are used up by the lamps. No extra towels in room. I haven't tried the pool area yet.

Huge TV, big soaking tub plus separate shower and WC (having the toilet in its own room is so nice). Loved the soap menu(!) as well as the stainless steel French press and not one or two but three different roast options for morning coffee. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the fitness center. They also have a steam room and various exercise machines and weights in the space with an expansive view of downtown Bend. I would love to return to this fine hotel whenever I find myself back in Bend. It was a most wonderful home away from home for a few days.

This place treated us like actual people, not just another room number…read more They kept us on the first floor, accepted our cats without making it a huge issue, and the staff was genuinely kind from the start. Not fake customer service nice actually caring. They wanted to know what was going on with us and treated us with understanding instead of judgment. Our car's transmission ended up blowing in the parking lot while we were there, and that could've made an already stressful situation way worse. Instead, they were patient and understanding, even when we had to extend our stay for extra days. That mattered more than they probably realize. The coffee was good enough that I kept going back for more, which says a lot because hotel coffee is usually terrible. The kitchen setup was great too and made things a lot easier while dealing with everything going on. Overall, just a solid place all around with good people behind it.

However the day we were supposed to leave our cars transmission failed and we were stranded. They were very accommodating to us having to get all our stuff from our car and bring it into the room, very kind to be understanding for the extra nights. My kids kept coming down to talk to the folks up front. My youngest enjoyed cleaning the room. We kept it fairly clean. :) One of the cleaners left a note saying how wonderful my kids were :) Very awesome place. Amazing coffee. Had no problems with me grabbing coffee all the time. Lol I lived off it. Good people. Clean hotel. Reliable. I would definitely stay here if your ever in bend. Always met with smiles and understanding.
