My fiancé and I went to Junioer to celebrate my birthday, and they certainly exceeded expectations! The service was excellent and their recommendations were all delightful. We ordered the pork rinds, steak frites, and the waygu Denver steak...100/10!!! Highly recommend asking for your waiter's favorites. The food, service, atmosphere, wait time, and value will all have us returning for future celebrations and just because!

Have visited a few times since moving to the area and would highly recommend. Is a little on the more expensive side, but the food, drinks, service worth it! Can get a little louder at times but overall the restaurant has managed to have an upscale vibe while still feeling homey. Seasonal menu makes me excited to go back and try other offerings as they arrive.

Came here for our anniversary. Had reservations for 5:30 on Friday night. Showed up a couple minutes early and snagged the last parking spot. This place makes you feel special. We had a lovely table on the second floor. Appetizer: Chicken Pot Pie Croquettes are delicious two bite sized fried balls with a dollop of creamy goodness on top. These are so tasty. Snake River Farms American Wagyu Denver Steak is sliced thin and served with dipping sauce. They recommend it's best served rare. It was a bit too marbled for my liking. Next time I would get the Brasstown Beef Filet Mignon. Seared Diver Scallops: only two, though big and very good. Brussels Sprouts: best I've ever had! Dessert: Peach Pie Sundae. Is a deconstructed pie a'la mode. Black Pearl Cab Sav from South Africa. Server: Taylor is so friendly and helpful. She guided us through the menu. We dressed up but there were people dressed casually as well. It's a very nice place for dinner for all occasions.

Favorite restaurant in the Tri-Cities area. Food was delicious, full of unique flavors- I would've ordered anything on the menu - they know how to put together a plate. Service- the host was friendly, professional. Our waitress thoroughly explained the menu and was very knowledgeable and kind. Ambience- what a cute restaurant. the decor and atmosphere are lovely.

Love this place! We went here to celebrate me passing my NP boards. The steak is a must!

To start! Or waiter was absolutely on the mark with anything and everything we needed! To the setting and mood, was dim but not too dim, with a lovely open space smaller, but was very quiet and relaxing as well! The food was also really well put together and tasty! The salmon wasn't my favorite, but the starter and the dessert... I wish I took pictures of... the coconut cake I want to say it was. ABSOLUTE AMAZING!!

Juniper is an amazing restaurant! Johnson City is so incredibly lucky to have such talented chefs sharing their love for food that rivals any big foodie city . The waitstaff is passionate about the food and the specials and every dish is meticulously prepared. I can't wait to go back and sample other items on the menu. I am a new orleans native and I love Juniper!

An elevated food experience for the tricities. Easy reservation process and courtesy call about an hour in advance to check if we had any special needs or allergies. We had an early dinner (5:15) but were seated promptly at our reservation time. The attentiveness of the waitress slipped some as other tables started arriving. Great menu to choose from and several mouthwatering specials. Duck breast was perfectly cooked and flavored.

This is my second time at Juniper and it was once again wonderful. Coming from someone who's lived in East TN my whole life, the quality and unique blend of flavors with this food is above most places in the area. It's real neat to have a "fine dining" place like this in Johnson City!

10/10 Incredible three course meal and service. Brought big inflatable balloons for the birthday girl #60 and celebrated like nothing else! Had a classier atmosphere with high energy.

This is my mom's favorite restaurant. It is the best restaurant and most modern culinarily that I have been to in the tri cities. The Gnuddi and focaccia was amazing. The chicken was just meh, but the construction on the speciality fish dish was amazing and truly highlighted summer corn but the fish felt a bit like an after thought. It was so so good though. If you come you must order: gnuddi, and the bread. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The servers were super attentive and so helpful with their recommendations!

We were a group of friends and ordered a couple of orders of chili chicken )my favorite of the night), garlic shrimp, wings and some sweet potato fries for starters. My vegetarian friends ordered Paneer and I heard it was good. The reason I backed off to 4 on 5 was their beer collection. I recommend they improve their beer collection and my love for the Indo - Chinese cuisine will keep bringing me back. It is considered an elite lounge for the area and I would call it $$$. There are no matts behind the bar for the tenders to stand on, I already have knee problems and if I fall because they don't care enough to provide standard slip protection, along with Management sexually harrassing me every 8 minutes, it might just be my bar n grill by the time its over. The karoke is the worst part, we have to pretend like we enjoy that bs, in hopes whoever is up there thinking they can sing, get blasted enough to tip well when they pay their tab, because if you wonder why your server is being a bitch, its because they dont pay enough to live on much less put up with all the bs that comes with it.

This place was close to where we were having dinner at so we walked over to the place. Just walk in to the building and someone will greet you and they'll take you behind the bookshelf where you can't seat yourself. We took some of the low seats. Nothing wrong with that we were greeted with water so we had to decide what we wanted to drink. Highly recommend that you use your phone since the menus are QR code. Prices were pretty fair for the speakeasy. Restrooms were absolutely clean. A few things I noticed that kind of dropped a few Stars was that the Speakeasy was absolutely cold!It had to be about 60° inside. It took a long time for us to be served. Lastly, I noticed some of the staff drinking behind the bar. People here are absolutely friendly , you got all walks of life here and everyone here is having a great time. The staff are dressed for the occasion and it does feel intimate being inside this speakeasy. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back here again. After leaving, you leave through the back door. I do believe that the prices were a bit High compared to other visits of speakeasies I've been to but that's more so on Tennessee's part for the way they Factor checks.

They had run the credit card in "authorize" mode with an estimated total plus tip amount in tiny print, then took that amount and printed it in bold as the actual receipt Total *without tip*, and then put a line below that to add MORE tip, effectively doubling the expected tip. When I noticed this and asked a manager about it, she gave an answer that was "yes we know this is happening but don't know how to stop it from doing that, golly gosh technology is hard" and we specifically marked on our receipt we were fine with the first estimated tip amount but did not agree to doubling that, completely scratched out the prior written amounts before we understood what was going on, and left feeling not so great but hopeful we would only be charged for one tip. Days later the statement comes in, we were double charged for the tip even though we signed a receipt with only one tip amount. That's not legal guys, that's fraud. Look I understand, tech is hard, running a business is hard, running a restaurant these days is really tough. But you can't let your credit cards get charged incorrectly, and I'm pretty sure you know this and are doing it anyway.
