I had the buttermilk chicken with two small biscuits, bread and butter biscuits and honey butter. I took the small bottle of honey home. I would not order a side of fries next time - too much for me. The coconut cake made from scratch with custard cream was delicious. The pastry chef provided us with small lemon flavored donuts which we brought home.

Also the place is kind of big and they also have a stage for the live bands. The bands that played that day were pretty rad I think all of them were local bands. I think it's great that this place supports local bands. I really like that they had collection of skateboards on wall. Addtionally I would've given this place a 5 star but they don't serve mixed drinks only beer which is a bummer for me. So I didn't get to drink because of that and also one of the reasons we left. They also had a cover charge which was at a decent price. Furthermore if y'all are looking for chill place I recommend trying this place out.

It was our first time dining here, and it exceeded every expectation. Because of the summer heat, our company had only packed casual clothes. Even though it's a high-end, upscale steakhouse, we were treated with total warmth and hospitality--our attire was never an issue. When rain cut our walk through town short, we arrived an hour ahead of our reservation, but the host team graciously seated us without a hitch. The real star of our evening, however, was our waiter, Jayden. Simply put, Jayden was exceptional. From the moment we sat down until we walked out the door, he made us feel like the only table in the entire restaurant. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond at every turn. Every part of the meal was outstanding--from the expertly crafted drinks to the delicious prime rib dinner and dessert. We even ended up bringing home a bottle of their exclusive bourbon! To top off an already perfect night, Jayden helped us celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary (which we hadn't even mentioned beforehand) with a wonderful, thoughtful touch. I originally had an OpenTable reservation for 8:30 p.m. Earlier that day, while I was traveling from Kentucky to Johnson City, I received a call from the restaurant asking if I could move my reservation to an earlier time. I agreed and explained that, because I was traveling, the earliest I could reasonably make it was 7:30 p.m. My reservation was then changed to 7:30. We ended up arriving around 6:30 p.m. and checked in with the host, Caleb. I completely understood that we were an hour early and did not expect our reserved table to be immediately available. However, although the restaurant was busy, we could see several empty tables and booths, and there were no other guests waiting at the entrance. We were told our only options were to eat outside or sit at the bar. I asked if we could simply have a drink at the bar while waiting for our 7:30 table, which seemed like a perfectly reasonable request and something I have done at countless restaurants. Surprisingly, we were told no. At that point, we agreed to just eat at the bar. Caleb told us there were two seats available and walked us through the restaurant. Along the way, we passed empty booths and tables, only to arrive at a completely packed bar where there was actually only one available seat; another seat was being saved for someone else. Before we could even explain that there were not two seats available, Caleb turned around and disappeared toward the kitchen, leaving us standing there without any assistance or alternative. We returned to the front and told another staff member that we were leaving because there were not actually two seats available at the bar and no other reasonable option had been offered. After leaving, I decided to call and ask to speak with a manager because the entire interaction had been so unusual and unprofessional. Caleb answered the phone and placed me on hold for several minutes. I called back and was placed on hold again. Eventually, a woman came to the phone, but rather than simply listening to my concerns about the way the situation had been handled, the conversation immediately became defensive and she told me she had questions for me. At that point, I ended the call because it was clear that expressing my concerns was going nowhere. I dine out frequently and have been fortunate to visit many wonderful restaurants, from casual establishments to very high-end dining. I do not expect special treatment, and I certainly understood that we arrived earlier than our reservation. What I do expect is basic courtesy, professionalism, and reasonable communication--especially from a restaurant that had contacted me earlier that same day asking me to accommodate their request by changing my original reservation. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we received at Jackson Prime. What stood out most was not that we couldn't be seated an hour early; it was the dismissive and unprofessional way the entire situation was handled. A restaurant can have excellent food and a beautiful atmosphere, but the way guests are treated from the moment they walk through the door matters just as much.

Inside contained a hodgepodge of mixed tables and chairs along with two cabinets filled with glasses for drinks. As you enter you provide proof of age and get a wristband after proving your credit card to capture the charges you pick a table. My spouse had one full glass of beer then tried a flight of different beers and liked the cherry flavored one best. I stuck with ice water as it was a very hot evening and although they had lots of fans it was a bit uncomfortable. I would return again when the cooler temperatures return. You can select any board game to play for $4 a game which we decided to skip this time. They had 4 large tv's and a dart game on another wall. Apparently they plan to add some virtual reality games in the future. I tried the meatball sub without the olive medley, there was very little cheese, the bread was soggy but the sauce and meatballs were fine. I skipped the bread. My spouse had the sausage rigatoni which was very good but extremely hot, we had to let it cool a bit. He wished the two pieces of garlic bread were a bit larger. We let after eating due to high temps inside. We did see a band getting ready to setup and play. I would definitely return when cooler temperatures return to play a game and enjoy food.

Literally NOTHING to provoke it was done as I had just walked in and have never seen her in my life. I patronized this location that night because there is A LOT of new competition in town but after my experience I'll be glad to see this place- and Sarah- go.
