This is such an unexpectedly beautiful RV resort. Location-wise, it is in a beautiful and quiet part of Oregon. You can clearly hear the birds and chipmunks, and the atmosphere is really peaceful. The resort itself is cleverly designed and very well maintained. It has a double ring road design, which means every single site is a convenient pull-through site. The bathrooms are incredibly clean, and the showers look really nice too. There is a nice deck with a fire pit near the restrooms, and there is a gorgeous grass field in the center of the resort. Each campsite has a nice tree, providing ample shade. The resort is also very walkable, with different hiking and biking trails to explore. My family will definitely be camping here again! read more

Pleasantly surprised by this RV park! Nice check in person, clean and organized grounds, very clean bathroom, huge showers, an outdoor covered picnic area with 2 gas grills, very nice laundry room with comfortable chairs and even magazines & books to peruse. A nice outside fire out to gather at, volleyball area, nice view of lake, even ladders in case you need to check something on top of your rig! I feel like they've consciously thought it every detail! Oh! And it's a quiet area NOT right on the highway!! We will be back! read more

August 2, 2020 I can't say enough about Junipers! We discovered this spot several years ago and it has become our go-to place to stay when we travel from Reno to Central or Eastern Oregon. This year we unexpectedly ran into truck issues and the owners and staff worked with us so that we could stay a few extra days and get the truck fixed. They not only recommended a great mechanic (Max's), but they helped with the logistics of getting the truck into town and getting back to the campground. Our extended stay was peaceful, low stress and quiet. The truck issue was quickly taken care of on a Monday and we were on our way by Tuesday morning. We finished our camping trip at Steens Mountain and had a wonderful time. I can't thank the staff and owners enough! Hope to see you again soon! read more

Junipers Reservoir Rv Resort - Campgrounds Near Me - Lakeview, Oregon

There were 6 units in our group and our reservations were made in June 2021 for last week. The reservation process was a disaster and we were not together as promised. One of the group didn't have sewer hook up and another didn't have 50 amp power. The owner came by and promised a 25% discount which I never received. We have camped there for the past 6 years and the service has gotten progressively worse every year. Won't be back! read more

We found ourselves in a last minute bind of where to stay. Three families three trailers and still a long way from home lol. But the camp hosts were fabulous and made sure we had three side by side spots. And the property is lovely. Big open skies and rolling hills. Within 30 minutes of arriving we saw 3 bald eagles which was quite a treat On a more practical side, the bathrooms were spotless and accommodating. Very quiet This a lovely place and well worth the extra miles off the main highway read more

This is one of the most beautiful settings for an RV park. The park is kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but very picturesque. Lot's of cows as you drive the 1 mile long gravel driveway in, and because it was late Spring, many were calves :) Nice sized lake as well, and heard there was fish in it. read more

This is a fairly nice campground that is about a mile off the highway. All sites are pull thru and our 50AMP full hookup site is large with solid power and water pressure. The road in can be dusty, but it is peaceful here. They have wifi, which works OK. Verizon works, but AT&T does not. According to the Coverage app on my phone, T-Mobile and Sprint might have a signal here. Some days a week they take Passport America, which makes it a bargain. It is 10 miles into town, but we had no reason to drive there this stay. If we are traveling this way again, we would stop again and maybe for more than one night. read more

We talked on the phone and they said they had big rig parking, large pull thru. They said 9 miles out of town, was 14 and 1 mile of dirt was two, but the worst was 30 amp, not 50 amp. read more

Beautiful setting. Clean. As with most RV resorts, primarily set up for RV's, but also had a nice grassy and shaded site for tenting. A very welcome sight for my wife and I after a long hot day travelling by motorcycle. Junipers was exactly as advertized. The cows made an interesting welcoming committee and the facilities were perfect (and did I say clean?). Also decent laundry facilities, a central covered area, BBQ's to use, and a fridge to keep your beer cold. One of the best camping facilities I have ever used. PS ... I marked the photos of the site as 'not helpful' as I don't think they do the place justice. read more

We camped here this summer as we were passing through the area. The camp hosts were the most friendliest and helpful hosts. We enjoyed the beautiful site, took a quick fishing trip down to their private fishing hole, watched the antelope graze through the area, then finished off the evening cooking dinner on their very nice grills. The amenities here are outstanding, and very well kept. We can't wait to return! read more

I will probably regret writing this because maybe it will become so popular I will not be able to return. Forget Good Sam, and the others. This is nothing short of spectacular. Located a mile or so off the highway, adjacent to a reservoir, on a beautiful cattle ranch. The park has a great lawn area in the middle, volleyball, totally quiet, except the occasional mooing cows, they have a covered dining/picnic area---with a piano!! The bathroom facilities are like home. Everything is perfectly maintained. We stopped by on a road trip, had we known, would have stayed a week or so. Hosts are very nice. Trust Yelp-this should be a 10/10/10 on Good Sam/Woodalls-but maybe they don't pay the advertising-I think all is not objective sometimes. Just Go-this place is a gem! read more

Great privately owned rv park. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. Grassy area in the middle is great for kids plus they have plenty of lawn games to use (darts/bocci/volleyball/washer toss). Two awesome huge grills you can use to cook in were a bonus. Bathrooms were always clean. You can fish without a license in the reservoir. Tons of walking trails to explore on the ranch, our dog loved running free. Plenty of hiking, fishing, exploring nearby as well. We'd camp here again for sure! read more

What a great spot. The RV park is part of a working ranch. The spots are spacious, the view is great, the restrooms/laundry are spotless, the WiFi works perfectly and the hosts are very gracious. It's absolutely quiet at night except for the frogs and coyotes. It's at the end of about a mile of well-graded gravel road, but go slow and the dust isn't a problem. This is a destination campground - we'll be back sometime for a longer stay. read more

We are at the end of our vacation from Montana, and decided to go exploring on our way home to Redding CA. While in Idaho, we searched for an RV Resort in Lakeview Oregon. Junipers showed up on our searches! We were fortunate to get a reservation, this place is always full! The bathrooms an showers are excellent, they have ample hiking to stretch your legs after driving for several hours! They have a volleyball net and a horseshoe pit, An entertainment area with a piano and a couple of BBQs. They have plenty of tent camping spaces. If you have an RV or a fifth wheel Full hook ups! This is very pet friendly but do clean up after them! Laundry facilities that also has an area with artifacts that were found on the ranch! If you are for serenity, peace and quiet, and away from any major civilization this is the place! read more

We tent camped here after a long hot drive up from Nevada. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much after bypassing a few national forest sites and finding nothing, but one RV site that didn't even have toilet paper in the bathroom, and then driving a mile or so down the dirt road/driveway as the twilight ended. This place took us completely by surprise. The tent site is a nice, grassy stretch very near the rest rooms. The bathrooms and showers were nice, the central pavilion was nice and large enough to host a pretty big group, there were even a couple of large gas grills we could use, and even free wifi in a region with almost no cell coverage. All at a very reasonable price. This place struck me as maybe the nicest RV park I'd ever camped at. read more

We stayed here during a layover while traveling further north. We drove in with our 44' motorhome and tow vehicle and it was love at first sight! The resort is in the midst of a working cattle ranch of over 5,000 acres of emerald green pastureland, high desert woodlands and sage, populated by black angus and surrounded by mountains. Wildlife abounds. We spotted deer and antelope during our stay. The reservoir is scenic and gave us an abundance of water fowl of all sorts: ducks, Canadian geese, pelicans, grebes and more. Swallows are encouraged to nest in boxes posted around the park. Ground squirrels and rock chucks are around the property. Sites are roomy and are separated by trees and each has a picnic table. All are drive through. The bathrooms are immaculate and spacious. They had two washers and two dryers in a room lined with large windows to keep the view in sight. The room also had movies, books, magazines, lounging chairs, informational board and brochures and a display of Native artifacts that had been collected on the property - the space was very relaxing, bright, and inviting. I saw two large propane BBQs outside of an open air, covered patio with a piano. The camp hosts were helpful, kind and courteous. In our short time here, we took a couple long hikes through the property. This place is a treat and a great setting for a relaxing respite. We definitely plan to return and spend more time here on our next visit. read more
