The service provided was quick, clean, professional, and I would think about using Junk Boys in the future ~ absolutely. However, the estimate was off significantly, and that was probably because there was no on-site evaluation. Rather, the proprietor made an estimate based on a photo I texted him. I would suggest that it would be far better to give an on-site estimate for accuracy, as the original estimate of $283. + came in, actually, at $471 +. Again, the work ~ its promptness, tidiness and thoughtfulness ~ was very satisfactory; its price was a surprise, having hired Junk Boys based on what seemed to be the best estimate after 4 other queries to different businesses. read more

We've used them twice. The are just awesome! Last time, I asked them to come early (I had to go to work after) so we agreed on 7 am. They arrived an 7.00! Quick and thorough workers. They took care of the junk in the yard despite the materials and wasps. Their final price was super close to the initial estimate. We accidentally misplaces a piece of furniture and they took it away (our fault). We realized 15 min after they left, I called John immediately and he was able to dig it out and bring it back. Just had an old 4'x8' cargo trailer, loaded with household & yard debris, removed. Trailer was no longer roadworthy - an old Fred Meyer folding trailer, my plywood floor had rotted and the tires had deflated a couple of years ago - and I couldn't move it even if it was empty. Called Junk Boys (a referral from King County Waste Management led me to them) and, after explaining the situation, they sent out two very friendly & professional guys to take it away. They unloaded it first into their huge truck, then folded & loaded the trailer itself, and took less than half an hour to get rid of over 600 pounds of unsightly rusting mess out of my driveway. I agree with the other reviewer: it is odd that these guys don't have more reviews! They were punctual (15 minutes early, when does THAT happen??), efficient, and they cleaned up thoroughly. Two very pleasant guys who respected the fact that it was 7am in a residential neighborhood and loaded 1100lbs of junk very quietly for a great price (200$). I couldn't be more pleased. read more

John and his quiet co-worker showed up on time and did an speedy, efficient job. I had inadvertently wildly underestimated the size of the job on the phone the 2 days before they came when I was making the appointment. I kept finding more things to toss in the interim. As John could see the weight of the job was increasing he let me now--twice, in fact, so I could decide about whether Is still wanted them to keep going. I thought this was professional and considerate (--and I guess he has seen a lot of people freak out overtime if the estimate doesn't match the actual job...) The rest of my office was so messy it was unreal and they didn't even seem to notice. They were really nice. John sent me the receipt by email that evening as he said he would. These guys are awesome! We had an early morning appointment, and as we have neighbors close by, they were considerate and very quiet. As much of the material as possible gets recycled. They were pleasant and swept up the driveway before they left. We plan to call them again for our next project! read more

The partner and I had a heavy sleeper sofa in an upstairs loft that was in great shape but just needed to go because we just needed the space. We tried the Salvation Army but when they showed up (at a wildly inconvenient time that we had to schedule two weeks in advance) they let us know that they have a policy that prohibits carrying a heavy load down more than one flight of stairs (weak sauce, Salvation Army, weak sauce) and Goodwill doesn't do pick ups, so we were left to fend for ourselves and we hired Junk Boys to remove it, and they did a great job. The two guys who showed up were professional, courteous and went to lengths to make sure they didn't damage anything in the house while moving an extremely cumbersome piece. We paid a reasonable fee that we were quoted in advance, and John and his people made a great effort to accommodate our schedule and to fit us in as soon as they could. No complaints here at all. If you've got something you need hauled away, these are the folks to call. read more
