Without firewood on a night that was in the 20's would have sucked real bad and been really really cold. It was not a super long drive from where I was camping so that was a plus. I called before to make sure he had enough firewood for me to pick up and he assured me that he did. He has $20,30,60,85 stacks in front of his house. The stacks were big and the wood was well seasoned so it burned well. 20 to 30 stack can maybe hauled with a SUV but bring a truck for a 60 to 85 stack. I had no cell coverage up here so I couldn't call him once I got here but he did tell me to just take the firewood and leave the money in the money box. I loved this idea.. I trust you and you trust me... 1st day I came by and got a $20 stack and the next day I came back and grab another $30 stack.. Both times I came to pick up firewood, I never saw anyone but if you are a douchebag and are thinking to not pay before you go, whoever is inside knows whos outside.. didn't meet anyone but I heard the camera move around when I was loading the car up. we had more than enough firewood to keep a really big fire going the whole time we were there.
