When I had over 30 pounds of copper, that she had in her art studio, I had NO IDEA what to do with it, so a friend told me to sell it! I found that Sims Metal, aka SA Recycling, will buy copper at a great price! I was there less than 20 minutes, and walked out a bit richer! Lol Not bad, considering that I was going to throw it out! I will say that it's a bit intimidating because there are big rigs flying in and out with tons of scrap metal! It was quite an experience that I will not soon forget. The attendant was very helpful. They have large scales to weigh the copper, and hand you a receipt showing the total weight and what they pay per pound, $3.70. They do require you show a valid driver's license, and they take your photo. I declined because I thought it was optional, but they said it's for security because apparently copper is stolen often. I laughed and obliged. It is not a business that I will need to return to any time soon, but I most definitely will recommend them to anyone looking to sell their copper or scrap metal.

A lady answered and I could not understand what she was saying so I asked her, "is this were I can get a part for my car" she said yes hold on" in a rude manner. So I was holding for a while and thought maybe she forgot I was waiting so I called again. I told her I was calling because I need a part for my car. She then told me " hold on! ". I called back and told her she did that to me 2 times. She said "because I'm busy with customers hold on!!" she kept leaving me on hold for a long time. I called back and told her I'd like to speak to the supervisor, she said "I'm the supervisor" and hung up on me very poor customer service and I don't recommend it
