This group is very professional and efficient. It is easy to get a response when making a call and their schedules are flexible to meet your needs. The two men that were sent were quick friendly and attentive. This business used to be pretty reasonably priced, but this last pickup I noticed quite an increase. If you are willing to compromise cost a bit, these guys are on the upper end, but if you are looking for the best service, I would say that this place is close to number 1 for pickup services. Pretty shady business practices. Allows you to book an appointment without any price range, so you'll have to call in to get an idea of what you're paying before they arrive. Seems they're expecting people to not go through the hassle of doing so and get caught with the bill in the end. Price was too high for me to justify so I cancelled. Charge what you want but be up front about it. It also took me 3 tries to get to the customer service rep. First time I was hung up on as soon as I was transferred by someone else. Second time "they couldn't hear me." Third time I got through. It's almost as if they're intentionally putting barriers in place to obtain this information. read more

This company was fast and professional and just took care of getting my treadmill out - after a different company was a no show and no response. Working with Junk King was a great experience from start to finish. I reached out via Yelp, where they provided a quote - a quote that they actually honored (lots of companies seem to come up with reasons to charge more once they're on-site). The team arrived on time, were very helpful and careful in bringing up the gym equipment from the basement, and charges were reasonable. In fact, they were willing to quote me for an additional machine that I hadn't mentioned and also hauled it away. I asked Chris what they do with the things that they haul away, and he mentioned that they try to donate things, so it's pretty cool to know that the items being taken away might have a new life and hopefully help someone. We had some old cabinets taking up too much space in our garage, plus some other junk from moving into our new house, so we looked into the handful of junk removal companies around town. Junk King was one of the only ones that lets you plainly book online without having them call you, and was very reasonably priced and upfront on those prices compared to some of the companies you might hear advertise on the radio. So we gave them a shot, and are so glad we did. Easy to book online, they give you a 2 hr window and do Saturdays, they actually arrived early having called first, and were so friendly and helpful once here. Took everything we wanted out and even helped in detaching a cabinet we didn't realize was screwed to the wall. All for a very reasonable price.
