This group is very professional and efficient. It is easy to get a response when making a call and their schedules are flexible to meet your needs. The two men that were sent were quick friendly and attentive. This business used to be pretty reasonably priced, but this last pickup I noticed quite an increase. If you are willing to compromise cost a bit, these guys are on the upper end, but if you are looking for the best service, I would say that this place is close to number 1 for pickup services. Pretty shady business practices. Allows you to book an appointment without any price range, so you'll have to call in to get an idea of what you're paying before they arrive. Seems they're expecting people to not go through the hassle of doing so and get caught with the bill in the end. Price was too high for me to justify so I cancelled. Charge what you want but be up front about it. It also took me 3 tries to get to the customer service rep. First time I was hung up on as soon as I was transferred by someone else. Second time "they couldn't hear me." Third time I got through. It's almost as if they're intentionally putting barriers in place to obtain this information. read more

I called them out for an estimate on some scrap lumber I that was to expensive to run over to WM. let them know the price WM gave me before they headed out. We had some old cabinets taking up too much space in our garage, plus some other junk from moving into our new house, so we looked into the handful of junk removal companies around town. Junk King was one of the only ones that lets you plainly book online without having them call you, and was very reasonably priced and upfront on those prices compared to some of the companies you might hear advertise on the radio. So we gave them a shot, and are so glad we did. Easy to book online, they give you a 2 hr window and do Saturdays, they actually arrived early having called first, and were so friendly and helpful once here. Took everything we wanted out and even helped in detaching a cabinet we didn't realize was screwed to the wall. All for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend, we'll be using again should we find more junk that we can't get rid of ourselves. read more

Extremely happy with the service!!! I scheduled an appointment earlier in the week for 8:00 A.M. Marcos and Jamie were right on time and they called me at about 7:40 A.M. to tell me they were about 20 minutes away. Marcos and Jamie were great! Not only did they arrive on time but were professional and friendly. They quoted me $149 on after looking at my pile of mixed stuff. They completed the task in less than thirty minutes (including clean up, raking the area) and then charged $119! Great deal!!! They hauled away tree limbs, pieces from a section of an old wooden fence, some pipes, wheel barrow, satellite dish, a standing electric fan, a slide from an old swing set and just some other various junk. The service was great!!! They saved me time and I believe money. If I didn't use their service I would have had to rent a truck, load and unload the junk, haul it to a dump (and not everything would have been taken) and potentially go to multiple locations to get rid of stuff. Even if I have truck in the future I'd still hire Junk King to haul my junk away. The value of saving me time alone made it worth it!!! The pros - fast response time (24 hours), friendly and had the whole job done in less than an hour. The cons - you don't find out how much they will charge you until they arrive for your appointment.
