My mom and I only had a few days to clean a large multi-level rental unit, plus a basement, which was completely filled with filthy trash, furniture, and scattered dirty belongings in every single room, even including a sink full of dirty dishes, all left behind by the vacated evicted tenants. We called several junk removal companies and the only one who had availability that day was Junk King. They arrived exactly when they said they would, the estimate was reasonably priced considering the massive amount of work that needed to be done, and it included all of the trash removal and clean up labor, with no hidden costs. The estimate was also free. James and Paul were absolutely amazing, exceptionally proficient, fast working, friendly and provided exceptional service which more than exceeded all of our expectations. Worst experience Ever! I would give 0 Stars! I used the co before and that went ok but this time I called the co and spoke with a nice lady and I told her what I had 7 sections of 4x8 wood fence and she told me the price would be $100 and she would even give me the $20 coupon so my total price would be $80 they get to the house and the guy says oh WE CANT DO THAT I'm like that's the price your co gave me, he says that's not our co that's just the call center. I'm like well its your website and they gave me a price of $80 ! He calls the owner TOM INDGE and sends him a picture of my nice clean compact pile of fence and he says $300 !! I had Junk King Worcester clean out my old living room furniture and I'm very pleased with the service. I used the web site to estimate how much it would cost for the removal and booked my appointment on the web site as well. They give you a time window of when they will be arriving and send email to confirm the appointment. Easy to use. The day of the appointment, I got a phone call about 10 minutes before they would be arriving. The 2 guys doing the removal were polite and took the time to go over pricing (which was very close to what the web site estimated). They carefully removed my old furniture quickly without any damage to my home. Overall, I liked the service and felt that the pricing was fair. I'll use them again. read more

This was a very wonderful experience from the beginning. The woman who took the order was very helpful and spoke very highly about the company and how much she enjoyed working there which made me feel very comfortable from the start. They sent out a crew of men to give me a quote the next day, and they were completely competitive with two other contractors, and they promised an extra worker to make the job go quickly. They were there two days later, did an excellent job, and even swept the garage when they were finished. This company has a great reputation for recycling which is another reason I chose them as my last experience with removal saw all of the refuse thrown into a landfill, alas. read more

Tom Indge the owner manager of the Fitchburg Ma location is piece of work. He doesnt know how to run a business and unless he starts treating his customers with respect he will be forced out. He cannot use illegal tactics and a complaint has been filed with the Ma Attorney General office, and my next step is to file a BBB complaint. I also sent a letter to the corporate office of JUNK KING and told them about the unpleasant business transaction and his lies and bullying tactics. I would not do business with this guy -- his whole staff is just like him and they dont know what they are doing and give false information, false fees and misrepresentation. read more

James and DJ came with a truck for an estimate to clear out some large items being removed due to downsizing including an old piano in the basement (the price was very reasonable). The piano proved to be a problem and they hung in there and even though we had to bring in some help because it was too heavy for 2 guys they eventually got it out which was not at all easy. I kept expecting them to say they were leaving and couldn't do it but they persevered. Much appreciated. My only negative is that I explained the situation about the piano when I called and made the appointment and that didn't seem to get passed along to the guys who came out :-( read more

I was able to book an appointment the day before online. (There is $30 off when you do it that way.) Even changed the time with no problem. The guys called me before they arrived and ended up coming just a bit earlier than our scheduled time. They worked hard and took out what they could. (I had a lot of stuff to take and they had come from another job.) You could tell the guys enjoyed working together, which is nice to see. I received a call from one of the pick-up employees within the timeframe I chose to let me know they'd be at my home in about 10 minutes. Hassle free. The guys showed up on time and they were very friendly. They loaded 50 TVs onto their truck and in about 1 hour they were gone. The larger sized truck that Junk King uses was definitely needed for this job as many of the TVs were large in size: we filled the truck to the top. One of Junk King's competitors said it would take 2 of their trucks (or 2 trips with one truck) to haul that many TVs away making it much more expensive. read more

These guys did an excellent job. They hauled a garage filled with various household items, a hot tub, grill, multiple pieces of furniture, multiple tv.'s etc. They were very pleasant to work with. They did a great job in taking apart and removing of the hot tub, which is a big job in itself. I was extremely pleased with their rates. Very reasonable. I highly recommend this company. Needed a 15'x10' storage unit cleaned out ASAP...Called at 9 am on a Saturday and they were there at 1pm same day. An hour later, the truck was full and the storage unit empty.
