You usually get what you pay for, but sometimes you get a whole lot more. We hired Junk Smiths to remove some very large pews at our church, primarily because their bid was very competitive, they came promptly and when they said they would (not our experience with other haulers). Charles and Jacob showed up, quoted job and started immediately. They busted their tails for 3 hours breaking down the pews in miserably hot and humid weather. Then charged 35% less than their quote because they would not need a 2nd truck...ONLY because they disassembled pews into such small pieces. To rephrase, they worked harder to charge us less! When's the last time a contractor did that for you? We have only high praise for Charles and Jacob and highly recommend Junk Smiths! read more

I had some stuff that I needed cleared away quickly. The job was across town from where I lived. Junk Smiths was the only vendor that could go give me a quote the same day. They also were able to complete the job that day. They took before and after pictures, which saved me time. I was across town and couldn't do a face to face meeting for the job. They did the job well. It looked like they swept up afterward, and even closed the garage that the tenants left open for some strange reason. It was a little pricier than I was hoping to pay, but it was a pretty big job, and I didn't want to shop around due to the time factor. The bill was handled over the phone too, so I never met face to face with them at any point. I followed up and went to the site to check the work, and was happy with the job they did.
