Called Junk Smiths this morning and set an appointment for 11:00. They called to say they were running early and could they come by in five to ten minutes. Dominick and Albert arrived at 10:15 , gave us a quick estimate which was very reasonable. These guys are the best in the business! By far the most professional service I have come across. These guys really saved us on extremely last minute notice. We were filming a house remodel and our previous dumpster service (which we will never use again) had failed to drop off the dumpsters on the date and time that we had paid for (I had to contact them 5 hours after the drop off time to find out where the driver was- they said that "he had called in sick"... I was amazed that I was given no notice of this at all) this caused an overflow of trash. Then, they refused to pick up the overflowed dumpsters and refused to give us any refund for the poor service we received. We had reserved the location for only a certain amount of time (and we did not want to upset the location owners by leaving trash there for an extended time period). JunkSmith treated this situation with care and a sense of urgency. They rushed to the location to remove the overflow and compact the trash, so that the dumpster service could pick up the dumpsters. They updated me with texts and pictures so that I was assured that the job was getting done. When it came to Yelp, and asking for rates, Junk Smith's came in by far lower than everyone else. But, the best part was that I'd reached out twice to them to schedule a pickup and both times they were able to accommodate same day and next day pickup. When they arrived, they brought 3 guys to assist (One of which was the owner Sean) and didn't charge extra for them being there. We called Junk Smiths last week primarily to remove a very large sectional and loveseat from an unoccupied condo. The scheduler was very helpful and easy to understand, gave me a price estimate based on my description of what we wanted removed, and set a 2-hour window for arrival. True to their word, they called 30 minutes before the actual arrival. Sean and Dominic couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. They officially priced the job once they saw exactly what we wanted done, and I accepted. Pricing was consistent with the estimated price range and very fair in my opinion (and I'm thrifty!).
