Received a call a few hours later stating they have to cancel our pickup, due to an injury on another job, and now being short staffed (hope he/she is ok). No problem, things happen. Sean calls my gf the next day (on his own accord) apologizing profusely and offering to reschedule. She wasn't sure of our availability and decided to reschedule later. A day later, I reschedule online for a 2-4pm pickup. At 1:30, my gf received a call from Jules (sp?) stating they'd be arriving in 30mins. Jules and Matt P arrived at 2pm, took pictures of the load, ran some numbers, and gave us a quote. The pricing is based on how much of the truck space is taken up by the load they're picking up (seems to standard practice) . Mattresses will be the death of you here with any company you choose. We had 4 mattresses, 2 box springs, plus some heavy wood furniture. The prices are fair but a bit outside our budget, so we respectfully declined. The guys said it was no problem, didn't try to negotiate or sell us. Just smiled and let us know they'd be sitting out in their truck for a few minutes, in case we were wondering. A few minutes go by and Sean calls. He wanted to make sure he understood the situation and that everyone was on the same page and happy. The doorbell rang less than a minute later and Jules said Sean had let him know we had been a reschedule and wanted to make it right by working within our budget. We were ecstatic! These guys were in and out of my garage, with a bit more than 3/4 full truck, in less than 15 mins. They took pictures of the space they unloaded, made sure everything was clean, handled payment and they were gone. With the conversations and phone call and coming back, 45 mins from start to finish. Sean, Jules, and Matt P were all respectful, kind, and most of all, held themselves accountable in every step of the transaction, without us even saying anything. I had my patio cover torn down. Lots of long wood and big nails, so I made sure to get some professionals to haul away the wood without getting themselves injured. They came in uniform, neat and friendly. They decided to have one guy cutting the long wood in half and the other guy moving the wood to the truck. I initially was a little worried about them holding the long wood and accidentally breaking my windows. But I quickly was relieved seeing them do the job carefully and professionally. Let me start off by saying how amazed I am with the services the company provided me with. It's a simple junk removal but they are truly professionals and affordable. I had emailed companies for quote on getting rid of my old tv stand. I kept getting quoted 200+ which was really expensive for me. I then got a reply from junk smith and I gave them a call.
