Here is what met expectations. Everything in the scope of work wascompleted. There were also three noticeable drywall damages that could have been avoided and it tookabout $200 (I hired the cheapest unlicensed contract on Yelp). But they helped me haul away quite an amount of trash left by other contractors, so it kindly balanced things out. Here is something that many of their customers would be super mad about but I was okay as I was able to work around by scheduling. The job was supposed to take a few days but it ended up taking two weeks. Although it didn't slow down my schedule, I did have to spend sometime coodinating with other contractors. Then here is something that I am really really unhappy about, removing mortar under tiles. The two guys were not given the right tool to remove mortar. They were using hammers and chipsels and it was super inefficient. They got really disappointed and demotivated. Around 2pm on Feb. 1, they were almost done with almost the rest of the items except for the mortar. I went there and theystarted packing already. I let their boss know immediately but I got no response. I was really afraid that once they left, they would never come back, so I picked up tools andstarted working on the mortar myself. This did motivate them and they worked on the mortar with me. But it didn't last long as one of guystold me only till 3pm, no money no work. I had to talk to them and kept working myself to keep them from stopping. I worked with them till 5pm. You can see a photo of that day with my hand. Do I blame everything on these two guys? Not entirely. One of the guy did tell me they didn't want to work on the mortar any more because they needed a scraper. So they did know about the right tool then why they didn't have it? Is it because they asked but were not given, or they didn't ask at all, I don't know but either way that's your problem. Their boss did promise he would take care of the mortar and he kept his words. But it took him 10 more days as he needed to squeeze time from other jobs to come fix it himself. I think they deserved to be paid in full but at this price I would only give a two stars out of five for what I went through. One star for their initial scheduling, the other for getting the job done. I know the saying "you get what you pay for" and I thought I could have avoided this kind of drama when I turned down another quote that was $1000 lower (only tile removal, no mortar removal) but unfortunately that's not the case. read more

We recently cleaned out our garage and had a whole pile of stuff that needed to be removed. We placed it all in our backyard, then contacted JunkBug via Yelp for a quote. They responded back within 10 min and quoted us $250. While they weren't the cheapest, they were the first to respond, and you know what they say - the early bird gets the worm! They said they could come the next day between 6-7am, which worked out perfect for our schedule. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 stars, only because they were 15 min late. We were ready for them at 6am and the guy arrived at 7:15am. It took about an hour for the guy to move everything from our backyard to his truck. He used a small wheelbarrow to transfer the items. After he was done, he swept our backyard (where all the junk was), which was a nice surprise. We would contact them again in the future. 12/07/20 I Requested a quote and Yelp sent out to multiple businesses. All businesses replied very quickly. I selected junk bug because David answered all of my questions to my liking. I made up my mind to proceed with junk bug because they are licensed and insured (and the December promo didn't hurt). The cherry on top is they donate usable items and recycle where able. 12/12 David and Anthony showed up on time and got down to business removing my 20+ years of junk and items stored in the garage because I am going to sale or donate (funny how I never got around to it and the piles just grew and grew). The promo two for one trucks came in handy because I definitely needed two trucks! I will definitely recommend junk bug to friends and family! The service is affordable and the workers are efficient and friendly. I'm not one to leave reviews right away, but I just had to as the service was that great. This is the worst company. I hired and fired them after showing up in a tiny stakebed truck that cant hold more then a few items. This is a rip-off they send tiny trucks so you have to order additional trucks. The owner tried to give me some BS story that all trucks are that size. Not true!!!! The service was quick and efficient (as far as I can tell) - remove from backyard a heavy cantilever umbrella that I couldn't disassemble. The problem? Appt. scheduled for 9 to 10am, but the emails/texts were not conforming to that arrangement. Confirmation email/text #1 sent last night after appointment made said ETA was 6 to 7am today. Texted David who said that was wrong, and our appt. was still 9 to 10am. This morning (day of) at 8am, I got an email/text saying ETA was 9:45am - 10:45am!
