I stopped by a little before 9. The door was closed but they opened it and said they hadn't turned off the grill. Inside is small, with limited seating. While we waiting, we were given chips, with different sauces to try. There was a spicy one that I really loved. For food, I tried the adobo octopus taco, the mushroom taco and the shrimp tacos gobernador. I enjoyed all three of them. The mushroom may have been my favorite. Although they were on the smaller side, they were all really flavorful. I was satisfied, but could have had a 4th. I also tried the pineapple, ginger and cucumber juice that they make in house. It was really refreshing and not too sweet. I'll definitely be back.

You'll find vegan and vegetarian options among menu items at Jus Tacos in South Orange. You can wash it down with agua fresca.

Beautiful Mexican tacos prepared in the traditional way with all the authentic toppings can be had for a great value at Jus' Tacos. The service there is is friendly, warm and knowledgeable inside an inviting location marked with Spanish style tiles and colorful decor. If you ride mass transit in New Jersey then the NJT Rewards program offers a great deal with your reward points. For 200 points you'll claim a promo code to use in person and get three tacos for $10! The only hard part is deciding whether to have chicken, pork or beef.

Some of the best tacos I have ever had. Treated with care and authentic. No cheap, but they live up to the expectation.

Not a great place and I am not sure what the hype is about. The tacos were okaish not to be visited again for sure.

The place was not clean, it smelled unpleasant, my food had a hair in it, and I got sick later that night after eating there.

Ask the Community - Jus’ Tacos

About how many tables with chairs are there? (Hard to tell from the one photo.) Can you comfortably dine in here? If yes, is it BYOB? Thanks!

Hello, we have 3 tables. The table next to the window seats 4 people. 2nd table up to 6 to 8 people and the side table 3 people. We don’t serve alcohol and you can bring your own beer or wine. However, We follow NJ and South Orange BYOB Laws.

They only have outdoor seating, and you have to go around the back for the dining area. I liked that they had games on each table (giant uno, giant Jenga) so it seems like a cool spot to meet up with some friends. There was some sort of taco special going on (2 for $8, but add $1 if it's a seafood taco). Here is what we ordered: -Pork belly taco (roasted pork belly, salsa verde, pickled red onion) - definitely my favorite. The pork was so tender and flavorful -Lobster taco - (chilled lobster, chipotle aioli, red onion, corn, avocado, blue corn hard shell) - this was kind of like a lobster salad but I really liked it. I considered ordering another one of these two but I was already full from the additional pork belly taco -Crispy fish taco (panko breaded white fish, lettuce, pico, chipotle mayo, flour tortilla) - this was a solid fish taco -Spicy jerk chicken taco (roasted chicken thigh, mango salsa, crema, pickled onion, guacamole) - this one was my least favorite. The chicken was dry, and it's pretty hard to overcook chicken thigh -Birria burrito lunch special - my husband ordered this one and it was soo dry. Since it said birria, we thought it would have come with consommé, but it didn't. I don't think that would have helped much though. Lunch specials come with your choice of yellow rice & black beans, salad, or fries. He chose fries and they tasted like when you have leftover fries from McDonalds and pop them in the toaster oven the next day (not good) -Chicharron - tough and dry As I mentioned, this spot is a little far for us so I would probably only go back if I was ever in the area for some more pork belly and lobster tacos. But I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. Tip - BYOB

The meat is perfect and I get that they wanna keep the natural flavors of the meats which is great but they just need a literal tinsy bit of salt. Service is nice but I can't speak for ambiance due to not dining in. For some reason I don't get full off these tacos like when I go to Los tacos in New York. (Try Los tacos!!) Okay the tip review was from 2025 I have been here about 7 times. The tacos taste a bit better but them tortillas man! They need better tortillas the texture of meat is good and you want your food to stay together while you eat it.

The Vegetable Tom Yam Soup with flat rice noodles is also a delicious bowl of warmth and flavor (a little spciy kick, too). Their portions are generous and the food is always flavorful. The service is attentive and fast. I like to go solo or with friends, either way, it's a wonderful experience each time. In the heart of South Orange Village, directly across from Spiotta Park, you can't miss it!

This was my first time dining in, as I usually do takeout. I thought the service was pretty good,…read moreno complaints there. The ambiance is pretty casual and quiet. Their food is good but there's room for improvement in some aspects. Our spider roll was very good - I am always satisfied with their sushi. My partner had the spicy drunken noodles. I personally think they are too spicy but it's totally fine for people who are spice-tolerant. My partner did comment that the dish could overall use more flavor, especially the meat. I had the yaki udon, which I was not super happy with. They advertise mushrooms come with it, which my dish didn't have. The beef was completely bland - no flavor and not enjoyable at all. The dish itself was just okay - not bad but nothing to write home about. It could've used more flavor- it was pretty bland. I likely would not order the udon again.
