I only gave a two-star rating because the eye doctor is the cockiest man in the professional world that I have ever met. He talked about me to his assistant as if I wasn't even in the same room, asking her why I had this extra test done with an attitude of me wasting his time. All he had to do was look at it. Then during my exam, I kid you not, he literally just flipped a few lenses back and forth and preceded to tell ME which ones I saw more clearly when I was struggling. I had eye surgery a few years ago in my right eye and still see things a little distorted, plus cataract surgery in both at an early age so I am protective of my eyes even more so. Then when I went back almost a week later to pick up my glasses and I put them on I couldn't even see out of them. She appreciated my understanding and took them back to the lab and came back out telling me she found out what happened. Unfortunately, I would have to return later to get them. Ok, no problem things happen. Almost a week later I returned to pick them up. No one sat down with me to see how they fit or if everything was alright. I was handed my glasses and sent on my merry way. Needless to say, I had to return to get them adjusted as they kept sliding down my face. Please understand I was very polite and understanding through this whole ordeal. Even with the cockiness of the eye doctor. But I will NOT be going back and have already told others to never go there. I'm sorry, but they don't have the patient's best interest in mind. I have had nothing short of AWESOME interactions with these people! I've been in to the office several times and have called several times and the staff is consistently the BEST. I have found them all to be very helpful and accommodating, and they go above and beyond. The doc is also very personable and makes his patients feel welcome and valued. The glasses selection is very good as well. I also really appreciate their hours because I have found that a lot of other eye glass places close at 5 and have no Saturday hours-- Just 4 Eyes is open several days of the week past 5pm and has Saturday hours. Too bad zero stars is not available! This guy (Bierly, Optometrist) is beyond obnoxious and egotistical. I had let the office know ahead of time that it had been 3 years since my last exam and I simply needed a prescription for glasses as I was going to see my Ophthalmologist for a more comprehensive exam, since I have a progressing cataract. He paid zero attention to me and was raving about women who whine about having to work after childbirth or some crazy thing, then proceeded into some negative jargon about Alcon and other unrelated rantings like people falling in his floor crying to have their cataracts removed, that had absolutely nothing to do with my exam. I told him my distance vision had changed and rightly so with the developing cataract and having been 4 years since my last exam. He proceeded to absolutely fly through the different charts and didn't give me even a split second to consider whether the lenses were making the vision better or worse!!! It was a nightmare. It was so stressful! Then when I was taking a few seconds to decide, he said come on let's do scans!!! WTH!! I told him I just wanted a prescription and I was having comprehensive care with my Ophthalmologist! He clearly wanted to charge for a scan and when I refused and reiterated my Ophthalmologist would be following me and doing any appropriate tests, he was indignant and snarky responding " Fine! We'll just get you seeing as good as we can right now!". Seriously?? That's what the purpose of an eye exam is!! The exam was so rushed (visual acuity) there was no way it was optimal for my prescription!! My Ophthalmologist provided me with a full comprehensive exam and has recommended my cataract removal which of course improves vision dramatically. He also did a type of lense cleaning for my other eye that had a very old (cloudy) lense from a cataract surgery 15 years ago. Bierly was completely dismissive, did not give me a minute to inform him of my history (which would have explained a lot and been very helpful) and I could not get a word in edgewise!!! He was condescending and made me feel like I had hopeless vision or some crazy thing!! And BTW, other than astigmatism and cataract, which has worsened, my vision is not that bad at all for my age. This guy should be questioned by the licensing board. Beware. read more

Confirmed my insurance and acknowledged that my eye exam was done 6 months ago by another Dr Let me browse frames for a while. When I'd picked frames (with zero help) was told that they wouldn't use my eye exam. While I'd prefer doing business locally this is why I'll buy mine online. read more

Horrible customer service! Bought $350 pair of glasses and they fell apart. When I took them back to get them repaired I was told that the 1 year warranty ran out 2 weeks ago. However, I had the glasses less than a year. I was told the warranty starts the day the glasses are ordered not the day they come in and you actually take possession of them. The old lady at the front desk was rude and unprofessional and sarcastically made a nasty "joke" about my luck. I wish I had read the reviews about this business before going there, the quality of their product is lousy and they do not stand behind their products. This place used to be pretty good, my wife and I had been taking the family there for years. In June of 2021 I had lost my eye glasses and had to get them replaced. My wife suggested going to Just 4 Eyes because we hadn't been there for about 2 years. Boy has this placed changed. The two receptionist were disengaged with the customers and were mainly talking to each other about an upcoming wedding. When it was my turn to get examined, the optometrist rushed my exam, like he was ready to go to lunch. They didn't even call me when my glasses came in, even after I told them it was difficult for me to drive without my prescription. I just so happened to call and the receptionist was like, oh we have your glasses here! Just to be clear, I wasn't the patient. Drove someone else here. It a small strip mall and very small and crowded. That might be a sign their good, but not in this case. No one was happy, and the employees are downright rude. Example...patient told she was entitled to a 30 percent discount on frames and lenses from her insurance. Winning. Until we got outta there and she looked at the receipt and no discount on lenses. Crap. They never bothered to call when glasses were ready (as promised) She asked about discount and was told "I gave it to you...I remember." When presented with receipt she saw she hadn't. And Doctor (and really...what caliber of Doctor works in a eyeglass mill?) tried bulling her into bifocals when she clearly said she didn't want them. Patient decided she was over them. I provided a Rayban aviator sunglass frame with glass prescription lenses to Just 4 Eyes. The task for Just 4 Eyes was to replace the existing glass lenses with new prescription tinted glass lenses. After many months I did receive my Rayban frame with new tinted lenses. However, my old glass lenses were not returned. Just 4 Eyes stated the lenses were lost. Just 4 Eyes has refused to reimburse me for my lost lenses. The office manager is rude and does not return my phone calls. read more

This company was super friendly. When my wife and walked in the staff greeted us . We walked around the store looking at the selection of glasses they had. I found a pair I wanted to purchase. The staff member asked for my prescription. I handed to her. She then looked up my insurance and told me what was covered. I thought at first it was going be expensive considering other places I purchased from. When she gave me the total. I asked is that correct. She stated yep with your insurance. I was amazed. Customer service is horrible. Went in for appointment told them I had new insurance tried to hand them my card, she says we already pulled it. Seemed odd. Got done she mentioned my insurance and what was covered "was old insurance". Had to give new info. Ordered new glasses, told were on back order so 3 to 3 1/2 weeks. 25 days later I called since no word from them. Told they are on back order so maybe 3 more weeks!!!! read more

I have been a patient here for 2 decades. I enjoy every visit and have always been treated great! I am a pet groomer and contact lens wearer so I am quite prone to eye infections. I transferred my prescription from Oakwood eyes to this place and bought a new pair of glasses. That process was painless. The young lady with long brown hair was awesome. But while I was there I saw the blonde that works in the front handle a customer who had care credit very badly and that should have been my forewarning to leave. So months later I am well past my annual eye exam and my glasses are not working for me. I am on a computer all day at work up to 12 hours a day. It strains my eyes and within 6 hours I am struggling to see words correctly. I drive home late at night and can see nothing but what is directly in front of me. So I went into Just4Eyes to schedule my annual eye exam but the brunette with the spiked hair decided she was going to make me go through a few hoops first. I just needed my eye exam. But she said to me, as though talking to a child (meaning she was condescending and talking down to me like I am stupid), that I needed to bring in my old prescription so they could check it first. I told her I was past due for my eye exam and that my vision has continued to get worse since I was 42 so I need the eye exam. She said NO, you need to bring in your glasses so we can check them. The prescription on the old glasses is over 1 year old. I don't need the prescription checked I need my eyes checked! On top of that I don't have time to be in a pee pee contest with wannabe nurse Hilda over there. I work a lot, I am in school full-time, and I have an older child with regular weekly doctor's appointments that I have to manage around my already strained schedule. No time to be jerked around. I have had the same headache for going on 2 weeks now and it is because I need to get my glasses replaced. So I said never mind and she goes "FINE then!" like she is some overaged teenager throwing a temper tantrum. I have no idea how the doctor is. I don't even know if the eye exam would have been good. I know that I will not be back because I am not some piece of trash, nor am I a brainless child, I have not one but two eye insurance plans (one through my job and one through my husband), and I never get headaches, I mean NEVER. I got my first migraine when I was 44, and guess what brought it on? I needed a new prescription for my eye glasses! I have had this headache for two weeks, and my vision is blurry with or without my glasses. I went to my family doctor first to rule out physical causes, got my allergy shot, got a shot for the migraine, but still the headache remained. So next step was to get my eye exam done. It has been the process since my vision started going bad at 42. I don't need to go through hoops and will not go through hoops because some woman at the front desk decides she is going to start pee pee contests with customers on that day. I work in customer service, specifically fraud prevention, and I take a lot of crap on the phone every day from people. I DO NOT and WILL NOT put up with more crap from someone I am paying to take care of an issue for me. read more

Avoid Just4Eyes.1) I ordered glasses about 12 days before a vacation. They did not arrive. I asked about where they were. Said they were just taking a while. Returned from vacation 2 weeks later. Glasses STILL not in. They had been lost. They'd never checked on them. They had to reorder the frames and then have them done. Took maybe 7 weeks to get my glasses.2) Got new glasses a year later. One eye was terrible. They said, try them out. I said, no, these are wrong. Got shuttled from employee to employee. Nobody would tell me what was going on. Turns out that someone had written down the wrong numbers and glasses had been made wrong. Nobody admitted responsibility or apologized for the mistake. 3) Went in when a screw was lost. Employee blew me off. I pressed and she finally attempted to fix them. TERRIBLE all around. I used them for a while because they were in network for my insurance, but I would never go back. I came in here at 4:22 this afternoon needing glasses for my foster daughters. I was informed IMMEDIATELY that I had 15 minutes to pick some out. Hmmm.. The place must close at 4:37! NOPE. It closes at 5:00. Next the very smarmy, rude lady tells me that she doesn't have any glasses on "MY" wall to fit the 3 year old and I would have to go to Children's. She also rolled her eyes as if I should have known that. Duh! Okay... Not amused by this awful lady, I swallowed my annoyance and said "Okay. I've never done this before." "YOU'VE NEVER ORDERED GLASSES BEFORE?" All the while, she is looking up at the clock... about 11 times. I knew the older one really wanted to get her glasses today so I said okay... Which color do you want? She said pink or purple. Miss Rude is still huffing and looking at the clock. She asked for my insurance card. I don't have it yet (they are fosters) and EVERY other place that I've to take them to could look up their information... She rolled her eyes again and said. "I can't look up the information. The other lady that works here can but shes not there." ENOUGH. At this point, I gathered up my kids and left. Why in the world this awful woman chose Customer Service to be her job is horrifying. I don't care if they had pink glasses with glitter that sing and dance, I would not return to this place. The two staffs at the reception were helpful and patient with me picking out my frames. The lady sitting in the frame adjustment station seemed very irritated the day I went. The doctor I saw was very impatient. He got frustrated with me because I told him I wear glasses about 6 hours a day instead of my original answer of all day when he asked me. Te whole time he was rushing. I probably sat down with him for only 5 minutes. Didnt ask me if I had any questions. I was there for my first contact lenses exam and he put the contacts in my eyes so hard that the skin around my eyes was scratched. Although he did washed his hands before putting them in, his nails were so dirty with black rims. I was so taken back. When I got to try on the contacts myself, two of the staffs stayed right by me the whole time explaining the instructions. One of the staffs asked the him whether she should only put one drop of the eye drop in my right eye, he completely ignored her and he was on his cell phone texting. He was so unprofessional. The only reason I even gave three stars was because of the staffs. read more
