I stated, "I know you are not required, but I am asking you to do this because my child is unvaccinated." They put me on hold and came back to let me know they would not accommodate this request. We are in the process of moving to another optometrist. How disappointing and also not in the best interest of their patients.

I asked why I wasn't told this 6 months ago when we scheduled the appointment. All they could say is that the call center should have done that. I could have scheduled an appointment at another optometrist, but now I'll likely have to wait another 6 months to see a different office.
