From the moment I sat down, the stylist seemed uninterested, standoffish, and unwilling to listen. I even paused to make small talk, hoping to break the ice, but was met with a snappy response. At that point, I just thought, "Alright... maybe I shouldn't have mentioned anything." The worst part came afterward when my family asked, "I thought you were going to cut your hair? It looks the same except the back's a little shorter!" Unfortunately, they were right. She didn't do what I requested and instead did exactly what I had asked her not to do. I asked for the top to be trimmed 2-3 inches, to leave the length alone because it was fine, and not to shave the back of my neck. I honestly considered not leaving a tip, but I chose to anyway because I didn't want whatever was bothering her to carry over to the next customer. I didn't want them to go through the same horrible experience I did. For whatever reason, she obviously wasn't interested in listening to anything I had to say. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Great Clips. I understand everyone has off days, but customers should still feel heard and leave with the haircut they requested. My mom was a cosmetologist for over 30 years, and I can guarantee you she never disrespected her customers.
