Now 2 years into public school and every teacher from Kinder to now 1st grade is amazed at how advanced my daughter is with every subject. Great Preschool! My daughter has been in this preschool for over three months and let me tell you that she loves it!!! She has so so much fun and is learning so much and so quick! I also love the fact they provide healthy food for the kids, my daughter its a picky eater and she always tells me she loves the food. The staff is amazing! Super patient and sweet with the kids! My second child is finishing up with this amazing preschool. I have been a part of this school for at least two years and can't even to begin to express my gratitude for the service and education my children have received. JB has felt like a family, from the amazing Ms. Jackie to all the wonderful teachers at the school. It is safe and clean. The curriculum is advanced, so much so that my daughter tested a grade level above her designation. Their activities are fun and safe. The children do great projects and yoga. They are taught to share and communicate. The school provides healthy meals, which are prepared daily for the children. They get homework and have fun school activities. Their Holiday program is out of this world amazing...and honestly, I am going to miss attending it. I was so fortunate to have found such a wonderful school (after a very long and exhausting search). My son and I are so happy with this preschool. I toured about 8 other preschools in the area and this one was by far the best. The teachers are the best and they really care about the children. They provide structure and different lessons throughout the day to keep the children learning and entertained. The classrooms are very clean and organized and each classroom is equipped with toys, puzzles and books that are in great shape. I attented just beginning In 1995 back than it was called little scholars . I had a great teachers ms. Jackie , ms. Im writing a review now, but this is not to say that it applies to 2017. My nephew attended this program for almost 2 years, he stopped attending in 2017 because he moved away from the school. During his time with this school, he completely transitioned out of his training pants and became more sociable, the way children are taught here helped him advance in public school. By the time he started TK he was ahead of his class. I also love the fact that they have freshly cooked meals, I believe it was Mrs. Jackie who took the time to cook the meals and not to mention she had to be in the kitchen super early to ensure the kids breakfast were ready. read more

Because of Just Beginning's great academic program my 5 year old boy is great at addition, reading, and counting up to 100+. And I give all their teachers much much much much credit since my boy is a very wild guy and is hard to work with but they still did an awesome job with him and I am very happy and grateful for that. Just beginning is a great school i give them credit for that. The teachers are great and kids learn alot and are advanced. I have nothing against their teachings/ learnings....the only thing i dont like is that they dont have AC...... Just noticed they have jumper which costup to $500-1000... And cant afford to put up AC in our kids room....everytime i pick up my child its hot and humid inside and all there is a fan...thats preposterous. And the fact that, if your child is off for one week due to illness he got from someone at school and we have drs note they have nerve to ask for tuition for the week my child was sick with scarlet fever and strep throat. My daughter has been attending for about half a year now and we really like the preschool. The facility serves hot breakfast and lunch, which is one of my favorites things about this place! The academic program is very good. My daughter's development jumped up when she started attending. The staff is truly exceptional. Any childcare place where a child runs to give hugs to her teachers before leaving school in the evening will always get the highest rating from me! Some pointed that they don't have central A/C, which is true but I think that they are managing under the circumstances quite well. For one, kids, regardless of what we think, are more resilient to weather conditions. They simply ignore it if they are having fun. For two, there is always cold water on site during hot days so, no matter what, no one over there will end up with a heat stroke (that was a sarcastic remark). Usually, kids play outside on really hot days, in the shade of their wonderful outside playground, so they are not stuck inside of a hot building. To me, the fact that my daughter loves her teachers is the main factor. I'm paranoid about her being mistreated and her not being able to defend herself because I've heard horror stories like that from few of my friends and colleagues. I know for a fact - this place is NOT one of them and that peace of mind to any parent is priceless. The school is VERY clean and VERY organized and awfully cute inside-out. I highly recommend this place and I thank every one of the teachers and personnel that works there for being so wonderful and caring to our kids. read more

I started my daughter at Just Beginning last December and it was a rocky shift at first going from a home daycare to a larger facility, but the teachers and administration helped to ease this transition for my daughter. She now looks forward to going to school, has great relationships with her peers and teachers and has learned a lot. The curriculum is great and she is advancing with all of her skills. I also love that they encourage physical activity and start the students with out of the box activities like yoga. The school encourages parent involvement when possible. My daughters have been attending Just Beginning for about two years now and I am amazed how much they have learned so far. I am proud to say because of Just Beginning my daughters know and recognize all of the letters of the alphabet, know their numbers from 1-100, how to spell and write their first and last names, math addition problems and currently are learning how to read to age appropriate books.What's even more exciting is that my children are accomplishing these things all before the age of 5!!! My son has been attending this school for almost 2 years now. The school is clean, they provide breakfast and lunch, and the staffs are excellent. They really do care for the children, they always make sure your child is well taken care of. My son is very shy and cries a lot when I'm not around. I am just so happy to see him coming out of his shell, his social skills developed a lot. He learned A LOT! My son started going to this school at age 4 and after a few months he knows numbers 1-100, started writing his own name, addition and subtraction. I am so happy he progressed academically and socially. He I really love the development I saw ever since my son attended this school. And they do have activities that kids loves, provides you with reports when your child has an accident, they have Christmas programs that we love so much and they could celebrate birthdays too with their classmates, most of all they do not tolerate BULLYING. My son and daughter both attend Just Beginning. I am very pleased with it. My kids love coming here. Ms. Jackie and Ms. Cruz are great with the kids. The homework packet they receive is reasonable. It is obvious that the school takes pride in their classrooms, it is a clean environment. My daughter was helped with potty training, she knows her ABC's and is learning her numbers (1-20). My Child attended this school since January 2013. It started of great. We both really enjoyed Just Beginning. Then I began to take a closer look. I discovered a few things that were not only shocking but bothersome. 1) the "potty trained" children were put in pull-ups at naptime and left with the same one on until right before pick up. 2) My child would come home with scraps and scratches without any communication or explaination as to what happened. 3) They stopped giving homework because "More than half the students were not returing the packet, and Im not going to keep wasting paper" -COO Mr Hawkins. But what about the 49% that are doing and turning in Homework? Never received an answer. The focus is stricky uniforms and policy, which they halfway follow themselves. 4)My child was placed in someone else's underwear after an accident when she had her own change of clothes in her cubby. 5) the fundraising is rediculous!! Every month they asking your child to sale something yet they havent taken these child on not 1 fieldtrip... Bottomline, this school SEEMS like a great place, but I would say take a real close look into this school before putting your child here. I took my child out and it was the best decision ever. read more

My daughter attended just beginning up until a few months ago. The staff is excellent. My daughter has learned a lot, and I only checked her out because we moved to a further city. The disadvantages are 1- The school has a serious ANT problem. Each time I went to my daughter's cubbie to get her belongings, ants were literally all over the children's personal items. 2- this school only accepts money orders. I personally think this is ridiculous. We are in 2015 ladies... They're so many alternatives that you can use to ensure that you receive tuition promptly. I suggest they look into the tuition express software, or something of the sort because it is really inconvenient to purchase money orders! 3rd, they don't have a website. Step it up, because 99% of successful companies have website. Like, seriously! And lastly, there is no air-conditioning. The poor kids sweat like pigs during the summer. I couldn't believe they actually remodeled, but have yet to install air conditioning. Smh. For $700 a month, my daughter deserves cool air. Aside to that, their academics and learning techniques are great. I have no other problems with the school. read more
