Calling the facility they were very understanding and helped us out. The outside of the facility was deceiving since it looked like a warehouse. inside was super clean and welcoming. This is a family owned and run operation. There are several generations running this kennel. Their love of dogs is very clear. Our dog enjoyed his stay and was pooped out on the way home which is always an indication for him that he enjoyed his time.

When I dropped her off, the staff came out in the waiting room to meet her, and spend a few minutes making sure she was comfortable. They encouraged me to call and check on her as much as I wanted and said I could visit her during the day. I loved how open they were because some places are annoyed when you call to check on your animals. When I picked my girl up, she seemed healthy and happy. We'll definitely be back again if she needs a place to stay.

My buddy had not had his nails clipped in years and he always freaked out when we tried. I know it's my own fault that I thought…read morethat it would be on the lower end of the $65-$75 quote, because he has been groomed before, was not matted or dirty, he's very good and it doesn't take long to do him. When I picked him up, I was charged the $75 rate plus tax which was 81 something and when I said why so much he said "well we quoted you it's $75,,,, plus tax ,,,,Tennessee tax is 9.25% and that makes it $81." Thank you, sir. I had no idea. He was catty, which is totally not necessary from the owner (he said) and the person taking your money. While I was waiting for my dog, I walked around and looked at some of the merchandise, and everything was dusty ~ on the shelves, the jars of merchandise, everything. It was pretty dirty in there. The machine where you run your card had dust all over it. I understand it's a dog place, but you can dust off your credit card machine and especially the merchandise if you want customers to buy it. All in all, the haircut was OK. And his nails had been clipped and maybe buffed because they were not sharp and ragged like another place we visited. Did not leave feeling good about this place. Note: I have no problem with the tax or the Revenue service! Re-read the review ~ or don't. But don't make it out like I am complaining about the tax. My issue is the price ~ BEFORE tax ~ and the attitude of the employee and the lack of cleanliness. The tiny exam/waiting room we were put in didn't seem very clean and could've used some cosmetic work. We seemed to get mixed information between two vets, one exotic vet and one surgeon. Ended up being there several hours; had some long wait times between visits to give us updates. The surgeon pitched us options (expensive I'm sure) about hospital care, either at Lange or UT, and multiple home care options that would require multiple medications, but apparently wasn't going to give us the honest info about our pet's condition until we asked what the survival chances were. Sadly our baby was in bad shape and didn't make it. Don't know if I'd visit Lange again in the future if I found a better option, not that they provided bad service, just didn't feel as comfortable with them due to mixed messages and what felt like an effort to get more money or give false hope.
