The bride was let to believe she was booking for the service to come to us at the resort. Our appointments were at 11, we were at the chapel, ready to go. 11:20 rolls around and no stylists. The bride calls only to be informed that they do not travel and our appointments were at the salon. We had to race down the mountain and still didn't get to the salon at 12. Girl that started my hair was instantly annoyed. She only took 25 minutes on my medium/long hair for a bridal updo. I told her that my nail doesn't hold curl when it's curled with a clamp iron and does much better with a wand. She then tells me she doesn't even know how to use a wand, despite her saying she's been in the business for 2 years. She rushed through my hair and gives me a mirror. It looks like I could have done it myself only, I could have done better. She is even more annoyed now and calls another stylist over who promptly starts undoing her half hearted attempt. The second stylist then achieves the style I requested but nothing more is done about the limp, half curled hair that is left down around my shoulders. I am then rushed over to the make up station as so the girl who fixed my hair could work on the bride's. Make up gal was AMAZING and the ONLY reason this review gets 3 stars. She was so friendly, knowledgable and really did a fantastic job on both my makeup and the bride's. We both also purchased false lashes and they looked great. Would highly recommend for wedding make up. Stylist who fixed my hair and did the bride's was very talented but definitely needs to work on a bit friendlier attitude. I don't know if the stylists are always that rude or if it was because of the miscommunication about the location. Was definitely a huge hiccup in her big day that we had hoped to go smoothly by being on location. Very disappointed in the communication with salon and attitude of stylists during appointments.

She couldn't tell me anything about the products as far as what the benefits were or what was put in them. She did not explain anything she was putting on my face, so I had to ask her. After she finished the first step, I asked her what it was, and she said "oh, the oil?" as if it was a question. She followed by a mask which she didn't tell me anything about. So I asked her what she was applying and she said 'oh this is the mask'. I got the feeling she uses the same mask for everyone and didn't even know what it was. I wanted to know why she picked that particular mask for my face and what the benefits were, and she couldn't tell me. Furthermore, she didn't apply either of the products to my whole face. My nose was not covered with product at all, not even cleanser, and the rest of my face was sporadically covered. I had added on an eye treatment, thinking that I would get some kind of cream or mask of some type. Instead, it was one of those gel pads in a foil wrapper like you get from the cheap aisle at T.J. Maxx. She opened only two, which she put under my eyes, then when I asked about it, she opened another two for the tops. She of course charged me for the second set, $50 for this treatment that did absolutely nothing. So I got nothing put on my eyes in the way of product even though I paid extra for the eye treatment add-on x 2. Lastly, this was supposed to be a hydra steam facial, however the steam machine was placed so far away from my face that I didn't feel it one single bit. My face felt horrible afterwards and I couldn't wait to get home and wash it. My massage was okay, but For a 90 minute full body treatment, I expect to get the glute muscles done or at least to be asked if I want them done, but they weren't. Still, the rest of the massage was okay. The kicker that topped off the bad experience was upon checking out, I was not told that gratuity was included in the price. I left a $50 tip, even though I was not happy with the experience, because I do believe in tipping well for the effort. I was super peeved upon leaving when my friend that I was with asked me why I left an extra tip and that's when I found out that it was included. I feel it was very unethical of them not to tell me this. What a complete waste of over $400!!!!

Then Bob, one of the stylist, had sent me a message to come in and he and or Rob will be happy to cut my hair, They made room in their schedule for me to come in, while I was visiting in TN. Absolutely LOVED my haircut. I had a picture that I visioned and Rob was very particular in the cut and kept referring back to the picture I had. Him and Bob I feel took the team approach to make sure I walked out with what I wanted and they had met my expectations. Well.. they did 100%. I now have two hair stylist down in Sevierville TN that I can now count on, and will definitely will be back at my next visit for a cut and color. I was going to try Megan's beauty box because it's closer to home and would be easier to have them reapplied every two to three weeks. Through the entire time she had me keep opening my eyes when the glue wasn't dry! It was painful to say the least. She glued my eyes shut twice. And when I was finally in the car. I realized that she had glued the lashes to the skin of my lid. I had to pull them off with a warm compress that night after realizing I couldn't shut my eyes completely due to the lashes being glued to the skin. Now I have damaged eyelashes. She also used the bundles of lashes instead of individual ones which are harmful to your original lashes. At one point she said it was harder to do because I have "hooded" eyes. I do not have hooded eyes I have almond shaped eyes and so does 30% of the rest of the population, she was obviously not trained to put lashes on correctly. I hate having to write this but I don't want this to anyone else.
