Originally. we had them bring in slabs from Ocala that we hand picked, much to the resistance of the office manager as she only wants to sell what's on the floor. Upon return, explaining the broken one, she flat out refused to bring in an identified slab in the Ocala warehouse, despite it being a guaranteed sale. It was interesting to hear the friendly customer service voice change from super sweet to sudden distaste and actually downright rude. We even had a friend call in to inquire about bringing in a slab and she, Olga, was ready without question until she asked what slab and then asked for who. I actually called the Ocala location and they were going to attempt to ship the slab themselves. Our gc called, as soon as there was a mention of the project, the change in tone rudeness left our gc never using them again. I even emailed the owner, found on linked in and an old email address and no response. Olga was the office manager, and if there is or was anyway to sink a company and drive people out of the door, her sour attitude and rude disrespect leaves us never recommending and advising anyone that weve talked to, in avoiding this location. Do yourself a favor, and if Olga is still part of this location, avoid at all costs.

Another employee walked by and told me the show room was already closed. I asked if she wanted to sell stone today and she responded well we close at 5 pm. I hope the owner reads this so he can fire the employee with pink hair. She is intentionally jeopardizing the income for the business.

I drove to the Stonecore location and was told I would have to deal with my project manager Mike Ciccio. He said he would get with his Granite company and get back with me about what could be done. That was over a month ago with zero follow-up from Mike. I reached out to him by text earlier this week and he text back to spay it was a rare issue but that I would have to live with the rust spots. I would tell anyone I know (Stay away from Stonecore) and find another company.

He will typically leave metal items in the sink bowl and it leaves behind rust marks. After a quick search online I found out the sink brand and learned that there is a Jacksonville location. I contacted them and found that they happen to carry grid you can place in the sink so that things won't rust on the bottom. It also makes it easier for water to drain through when there are dishes in the sink. I called and while they usually do wholesale they were able to sell me one sink grid. When I went in, I was promptly greeted and the place was clean. There were only about four or five parking spots in front but given the clientele is usually coming in for a quick browse there shouldn't be a problem. Their main business is wholesale granite and tile. While I was waiting, I took a quick look at their slabs and got lots of ideas on how I could use them for future projects. I checked out quickly and the great was $20 cheaper than what was advertised online. Quick, painless experience and the service will bring me back should I have a need in the future.

That's when I found they charged an extra cost for fuel. Imagine it's because of the war in Iran. Most other company's I called didn't do extra surcharges, and delivery is also cheaper, from the ones I called.
