I never asked for the persons name that did my nails, but I believe she is the owner since she was greeting her customers. I love love how everything came out with my nails. The shaping was amazing and the detail was on point. I just wish it wasn't so pricy I would of expected to pay at least $65-$75. I paid $97. Love coming here! Always ask for Ann if you want a good shape but if you want a nice design then Dawn is good at that too. Their prices are somewhat reasonable for the quality of nails that I get. I'm a server & not ONCE has my acrylic popped off, chipped or nothing major & I do a lottt so that says what kind of stuff they use is pretty good. I recommend this place but if you want to make an appt or such you'd have to walk in & ask, they never really pick up the phone but other than that it's a great place overall. read more

Had the worst Experience!!! Dawn, wife wasn't in today just her husband and an older woman. I called in advance to see if they could do the 3D nail art, they said yes after I drove 40min I found out that Dawn wasn't in and her stand in can not do ANY type of design after she tried to make a flower blossoms design that looks like twigs!!!! I wanted to give this place a good rating because I loved my "SNS" nails when I left, however the very next morning all hell broke loose. The powder started to crack and lifted off my nail beds and caused my natural nails to break off once exposed without a coat. This is the only salon I've been to that didn't apply a base powder coat before the color powder to protect my natural nails. Also, they finished off the powder with a gel polish overlay and UV light instead of the "SNS" topcoat. WTW! My "SNS" nails have always lasted 3 - 4 weeks before I need them redone. I had to go to another salon within 3 days and start from scratch and add tips, so I lost my $33 here. I will not be doing business with them again. read more

So where do I start....I was excited to try this place from the reviews but I get in Dawn tells me she is too sick to do my nails and gives me to Ann. I sit down and she is nice at first. I start to ask pricing and age proceeds to tell me 20 is the regular rate for good prices. Ummm no never!!! Then they start having a discussion in another language. I ask her a couple more questions about pricing and now she's being short. So for her to shape my nails and re polish she says about 28 bucks not when I would usually get a refill and gel polish for 25! So then a fill in with "my nail shape" and polish is 32!!! Smh y'all letting these ppl rob you and she said oh that's with a discount! How about we make this the first and last time you see me! Let me start out by saying this place is amazing. I normally try and support black nail businesses, but I think I've found a keeper. I got there at 7 and they didn't rush to get done just because they close at 8. They took their time with my fill-in and my pedi. I'm a single mom so I had my son with me and they even gave him his bottle to make sure he didn't cry AND they rocked him in his car seat. I was so happy that they did that because most people will complain about your baby but they really helped me out. I was need for a pedicure so I searched online for a Salon. I really like getting designs whenever I get my toes done. However, its very difficult to find a person who does it right or how u wanted. Luckily there's facebook, which advertises everything. Saw some photo's of the designs and instantly fell in love. Long story short. I came in to get a pedicure by one of the nail tech and designs done by Dawn. Like the previous review stated... she was very talented! Didn't disappoint me one bit. This place is ok but I would not return unless I have my own mail instruments. The place was not properly cleaned and dusted. Sanitation: 2/5 I did not see the sanitizer in sight and therefore could not verify that sanitation practices were compliant to standards Services: 3/5 The employees were generally amenable to my specific requests because I make it clear about what I want. But I'm not confident in the skill sets of employees since I had to direct their work for a thorough manicure and pedicure. Ventilation: 2/5 Thankfully there was only one person doing acrylic nails. The owner burned some incense and it made it difficult to breathe. (Caveat: I'm pregnant and am very sensitive to scents and breathing is slightly different.) Price: 3/5 Manicure and pedicure ran for $25. I think the rate us comparable to other nail salons. Massage chair: 3/5 The chair was fairly new and functional. It was the best part of the experience. I would recommend this place with reservation. If you want to go bring your own instruments to minimize risk of infection. I'm beyond pissed I've been here many times so I expect better then this.I got this SNS! set on the 10th not even 2 days later They started to have webs and cracks so I called the lady and she said come in an she will fix them so I assume maybe she will remove an redo the one's that had huge cracks noticeable cracks she just kept filing and I kept trying to explain to her that's not gonna work I mean being in the profession she should have known better right? And then she Puts white gel Polish on them and calls it a day they now are misshapen and Polish everywhere so I leave pretty mad but give it a chance hell she didn't even clean the extra Polish on my skin off I had to do so myself... During the process she also asks... No work today Nooooo it's a Saturday an I'm a Stay at home mom. Its as if she was hinting that my job was rough on hands an that's why they look this way... No I do normal house cleaning and never ever have this issue.... These are SNS why did she use Gel Polish to hide the cracks. WHY??? an why would she think that would hold them together.. So now I'm out the money with broken nails... They just clearly don't care about their work or customers... Extremely disappointed. Update I called the shop twice on Monday left a message with my phone number no one ever called me back I will be posting new picture of how my Nails look due to atleast 4 of them breaking off below the tip... It cracked and broke my actual nails... I'm Disappointed that no one even attempted to call back and no one has even responded to my review I think that it's utterly ridiculous that you pay $80 ((tip not included)) for a brand new set of SNS and pedicure and they can't even have the decency to fix them when they messed them up nor do they have the decency to even call you and apologise or try to fix the situation like I said before she had said that she was going to fix them the Saturday after I had just got them done which was only a week SNS typically lasts me about 3 to 4 weeks this was literally a week they fell off... I have updated pictures of what my nails now look like.I will now have to wait for them to heal before I can go else where to get them done again. This Saturday went for a full set and pedicure. Crowded but this is what I get for coming on a Saturday in the afternoon. The wait wasn't bad. I will stick to my weekdays. The staff was courteous and fast in getting the customers out. I have read the reviews about the set up. They have now redesigned the salon. They have new chairs, getting new tables, fresh paint and you can see where they sanitize all the equipment. They also have a huge wall of new and fashionable colors for the gel nails. All the ladies that left before me seemed pleased with their services. I haven't had a bad experience. Due to the young lady that does my services being really busy, she referred me to someone else. Not disappointed at all. Did get knicked on my cuticle, but she was very apologetic. Stop in to see their new set up. Note: Still only have limited seating :(. I paid $40 with tip. read more

Incredible attention to detail, casual yet professional staff, impressive technical skill. Just check out their nail design portfolio on their facebook page. There isn't a single bad tech on staff. You'll get the same quality of care no matter whose chair you sit in! and at a truly unbeatable price point for the level of quality and expertise (spa mani/pedi is $25, $5 for designs that make the splotchy flowers and dots you get at most other places look like a 2 yr old's fingerprint). I absolutely LOVE this nail salon, I used to see Dawn. She can do any design & always hipped to the latest with nail care whether it's designs or a new nail technique. She's very good at what she's does. You won't get the regular, boring designs like the other nail salons, Dawn & her staff are unique with the designs. The salon has a FB page that has pics of designs & also there's a magazine handy with her work in it. The salon is a bit small, but not too small. The staff is always friendly & are as up to date as Dawn. I moved to another city & I still travel down to Just For Nails to see Dawn sometimes. I'm not sure where to start I walk in and no one greeted me so I'm just standing there looking silly let's keep in mind there was only one person and 4 nail tech in there. I overlooked the fact that this place is extremely cluttered and just downright messy on organized all I needed was a simple cleanup of my eyebrows lady does my eyebrows I'm halfway scared to lay down on the table it's dirty so I keep my hat on the worst part was her breath no offense to anyone but please pop A minute or two in your mouth after you have eaten she finally finished normally they hand you a mirror to look at your eyebrows she told me I had to walk over by the door to go look at my eyebrows I mean it was only seven dollars that's not the point the point was they were unprofessional unorganize disgusting the place is a mess no wonder it's empty and need I remind you I found this place after traveling to five other places that were jam packed I should've kept going overall experience an F read more

If you want a 'good customer service experience' along with getting a nice manicure / pedicure, this is definitely not the place!! I had the unfortunate experience of allowing my keys to fall into the base of the pedicure chair. I could hear something drop as I stood to move to the manicure chair, but did not see anything. I realized it was my keys as I attempted to leave after my nails were dry. The chair was now occupied by another client that was more than gracious to allow me to look for my keys (unlike the nail tech that was doing her nails). The nail tech was rushing me with a rude and agitated attitude. She (the nail tech) did not allow me to look thoroughly and take time needed to find my keys. After telling me that the keys could not fall to the base of the chair, the nail tech told me not to touch the cords of the chair or I would have to pay for the chair if it broke. Anxious to get her client back into the chair, the nail tech told me to wait until she was finished with her client (instead of moving her client to 1 of the 4 other open chairs). So an hour later, there I was waiting... Needless to say, I was very upset. The nail tech could sense that I was really upset and decided to move her client to 1 of the 4 open chairs to do finishing touches. I was now able to look thoroughly for my keys with the rude and agitated nail tech talking loudly while showing me that the keys couldn't fall to the base of the chair. Finally, I saw my keys in the base of the chair. Another nail tech verified and pulled them out for me and I was able to leave. Providing 'good customer service' is not a priority for all employees at Just for Nails and Just for Nails is not the place for me. read more
