We had Jack as our instructor and he was a great teacher showing us at the beginning on the sand how the beach and tides works with rip currents, sandbars, and dangerous lightning storms. If you are in the slightest way considering taking a lesson book one. The surf shop also has a great selection of hats, shirts, swimsuits, and surf gear. The selection is great for both men and women and the prices are very reasonable. We purchased some merchandise and had a great time in our surfing lessons. My service with Chase was phenomenal from entering the store to showing me every aspect of technical gear I would need on a two week European hike, or even local in the Appalachian. I walked out knowing much more and still researching. They did not have the specific hard to locate Lowa boots I wanted to try on. They are rarely retail, closest is NC. No purchases yet, but soon.

Been driving by for a while and have meant to come see it and check things out. Last summer was crazy with travel and I was never home long enough to establish a routine. This summer, we're home and we finally made it over and have joined. There are tons of pickle ball courts, with more on the way. They have cameras set up to check the courts, and weather, and linked with multiple apps to sync up with others or drop-in play for the day. This location has plenty of parking and lighted courts at night where you can play well into the night without a set stop time (it says until last member leaves presently). They also host several tournaments here with cash prizes for the top 3 in each category. There are several membership (annual/monthly) options for single or families and Jim, the one who runs the office, is super nice and friendly and accommodating. They have rackets for sale inside you can try out for a game or two and borrow until you find what works for you - and they're very easygoing and friendly.
