It's been about a week since I got a set done here and my nails are still holding up very well, still shiny too! The nail tech did a great job removing my old nails without any pain. I asked for coffin shape with glitter Ombre which he executed okay. My only downside is my thumb nail was crooked and when I asked him if he would fix it very well in the beginning of shaping and filing, he said he would do it but never did. The lady did my glitter Ombre and was very friendly, conversational and sweet. The price for my mom's pedicure and my nail set was a reasonable price.

The service was fast yet efficient. The staff was professional and friendly, I love the way they work together to give the customer a pleasant experience. I called in for a same day appointment and I was taken care of quickly which is a plus for budy moms, like myself! The atmosphere was super chill, I read my book & felt at peace the entire time. I got a colored powder full set and they did a great job with my nails! I love them!!

I haven't had my nails done in quite some time because I felt that acrylics had taken a toll on them. After taking a year off, I heard great things about Rene and was eager to try builder gel, or "Beauty gel," as it's called at this location. When I called to check if Rene was available, I learned she was no longer there, but I decided to give the salon a shot anyway. Unfortunately, the results were quite disappointing. My nails turned out messy and bumpy, falling far short of my expectations. The price was also on the high side, which made it even less worthwhile. I was truly disappointed, even though this salon's reviews are impressive. The outcome didn't live up to the cost, and I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

I've been coming here about 3 years. Originally, I'd take whoever was available. Over time, I've become quite attached to Renee and will openly express that she's my tech. Let's talk about the salon first. The salon is always clean. The staff is friendly and I'm greeted by name. If you have a concern the owners, John and Thi will make it right, not that I have any. The business is not huge so to me, it's more personable. Homie. Now, the nails. So, if you want the most fabulous nails around, there is no contest. Renee is the bomb.com! She is quick and her quality is above any I've ever had. Nails matter people. I have a job that requires me to interact with many as a leader. I am confident every time I get out of her chair. Today, I showed up with a picture of an ombre nail with a butterfly design. She executed it flawlessly. See below. I'm also sharing pictures from other visits to Renee. You can see that excellence is always the standard. My nails have gone from thin, flaky and discolored to solid, white and strong. Thank you, Renee, for always being patient with me and working so hard. You're the best!

Thought I would give a new place a try today and was highly Disappointed in the service I received. I got the exfoliating pedicure that came with an 8 minute massage, the nail tech, Kelly, only gave me a 4 minute massage and of that 4 minutes she stopped 2-3 times to check her phone. The entire time she did my pedicure she was on the phone with Bank of America with her account info all pulled up and stopping MULTIPLE times to give them info they needed. At one point - she walked to the back to continue her conversation and left the hot towels on my legs for so long they were cold. She asked me what color I wanted at least 5x because she couldn't remember because she was too busy on the phone. I was never offered a drink or even conversed with the entire time I was here. Not to mention none of the tools she used were removed from a sanitary bag. (That's just my preference to know they were sanitized properly). When you're spending $50+ on a service that takes less than an hour, I think it's reasonable to expect quality service. I just did not receive that here. To the worst of it -- the painting. I asked for simple white French tips with a snowflake. It took over an hour for her to begin painting (due to constant stopping to talk on the phone), and when she started the tips the were uneven. I don't mean to be rude, but I truly believe I could do a better job... when I asked her if she could straighten the lines out she said it looked like that because "your nails are tiny" I get French tips almost monthly and have never had an issue anywhere else and I don't believe my nails are small by any means. I eventually just switched my design to straight white with no tips. I ran out of time and patience. Left here unsatisfied without the design I was hoping for. Update : spoke to manager, they declined a refund due to their employees working on commission. He offered to provide me with another service free of charge. I will update this review if/when I receive that service. I have no issue changing this to a positive review if I am given a better experience on my next visit. I appreciate the managers response and look forward to this to be made right.

I am super picky with my nails, and having been to several salons in the Houston area.. this is hands down the best salon, not only in Katy but in Houston. I've been here several times. I'm always in and out within an hour, for a shellac manicure and pedicure I think that's great. The staff is very friendly. Most importantly the ladies do a wonderful job! I'm always leave so happy with how my nails look. They also have competitive prices and a wide selection of colors. Highly recommend coming here, you won't regret it! Also bonus... if you get hungry there's an awesome Thai place 2 doors down!

The staff is nice, the salon is clean and the prices are fair. However, after a week, my acrylics began to snap and crack. I've also noticed my nails are filed uneven and some nails are not straight.

Highly satisfied customer! Came here based off Yelp and you all surely didn't disappoint. Emma was my technician and being the fact it was my 1st time here, she took her time and paid careful attention to detail. I'm always cautious with nail salons since I have short nail beds and sensitive cuticles- it's annoying when I'm trying to tell someone about how sensitive my nails are and they only pay attention after the fact when they cut me. Well Emma actually noticed my sensitivity without me having to say anything and made sure to not push my cuticles too much and was super attentive to every nail area to avoid any possibility of pain. It was also my 1st time getting SNS and she was more than helpful with answering my questions and explaining the health benefits of SNS (which ladies I highly recommend over Shellac!!) Thank you Emma for the best 1st impression and I will be back! read more

I took my children to get pedicures yesterday. They did a great job with my own nails and were very kind to my girls, even fixing 2 spots that we messed up while leaving without acting like it was a big deal (it was past closing time). I went here for the first time this week- I had never had a manicure or pedicure and I work on my feet and with my hands all day so I am sure they were in rough shape, but Tulip, my technician, did wonderfully- she was personable and so much fun to talk to, she helped me figure out what was going to happen next, and my nails have never looked more beautiful. I really enjoyed my experience and it was in my the most part due to her skill and personality! read more

We weren't greeted by the man at the front when we walked in- should have walked out then. The lady doing my pedicure was rude to my daughter when she asked her nail tech-Jenny, for an acrylic on one nail. She told my daughter she didn't need it. My child responded with but I want it. My first visit with my friend and it was very relaxing. Needed some pampering after being displaced from Hurricane Harvey. My Mani/Pedi was done very well. I really like the decor and atmosphere also that it's not so big so you didn't feel crowded and not noisy. Love the service and will be back! read more

This is my second time at this salon. It's a bonus that Bambu is next door. The first time I visited the salon was with my daughter. I believe Emma was my nail tech. She did a fabulous job. So this time I brought my 7 year old daughter and my husband to get our usual pedicures. My husband and I had the deluxe pedicure package. Holly and Mary worked on us. They did a good job. The lady who painted my daughters nails, no name tag so I have no idea, did an okay job. My daughter's lady was nice when she spoke to my daughter in English but then she started speaking in Vietnamese to my tech making rude comments about my daughter. My blood was boiling but I didn't say anything. I don't look Vietnamese and neither does my daughter so she had no idea I understood every word she said. She then turned to ask me where I'm from and I said Vietnam and she was shocked! Once we were done I told the lady at the front in Vietnamese to relay a message to her rude tech. OIf she talks bad about her customers or her Customer's children then she won't have any customers and no tip! I went back tipped our ladies $10 each and gave my daughter's tech nothing but a disgusted look. I returned my frequent visitors card and said I will never come back. I hope the owner reads this review and let this be a lesson to everyone. Your customers are your livelihood. Piss them off and word of mouth travels fast!!! read more

Impossible to come in and get anything done here, they never have anything available IVE tried to come 3 times and all 3 they've been busy for the FULL day mine you I'm coming at around 1 or 2 pm and they close at 7. Completely unacceptable never trying to come here again and wouldn't recommend it anybody else you want to wait full days beforehand read more

The place I go to in Katy is closed on Sunday and Monday and those are my only days off so I decided to give this place a try. I loved it! The girls are super sweet and easy going. The place is clean and relaxing. And my nails came out superb! I have to keep my nails very short for work and normally I get scared that they will nic my skin because of that but these girls didn't! So, i came here not too long ago. it was my sister and i and it was for homecoming, i saw that it had good ratings on here so i suggested coming to this establishment. the lady that greeted us was so sweet. we sat down quickly and my nail tech came over, we went over what i wanted and the nail tech started on my nails. it looked nice at first, the length and shape was great. then...i started to notice some things, one of them being a very crooked nail...i think the nail tech filed down a side too much (i got square shape) so it made it look that way. so i told the nail tech that it was indeed crooked. and they said and i quote "no, that's just how your nail is" .... sure. another thing, my whole nail wasn't even filled. if that makes sense. and this nail tech didn't even take off my cuticles...wth. instead my cuticle is UNDERNEATH my set. i wanted to like this place. i really did. Right after i paid and left, i went to the nail salon in la centera and i told them about my crooked nail, they were so sweet about it. they fixed it and it was NO CHARGE!!! needless to say, i'll be taking my bum to the la centera nail salon from now on. read more

I'm on the fence with these guys! I live in Cali & my family lives a couple of blocks from here. Every time I'm in town I normally go at least TWO times the 1) time they did my nails they did AMAZING it lasted about 3.5 weeks! 2)nd time this past summer again 3.5 weeks 3) time this past summer again crappy job my nails started to peal 3 days later! 2 weeks ago I went again & my nails began chipping 2 or so days later! Ugh I'm going back tomorrow morning for another mani let's see how it goes! read more

Don't live around here but had 2 hours to kill while showing clients houses. I got the lovely Jenny to give me the most wonderful pedicure. She was very kind, professional and best of all...very precise! The toes looked amazing after that long awaited covid pedicure. If I lived close by, she'd be my girl! You HAVE to go to this salon!!! Out of the many years I've been getting my nails done, I've never had a place that was perfect in every aspect! From greeting, helping you pick color, attention to detail and customer service! I will definitely ONLY come here from now on! They pulled each tool they used out of a sterilized pouch. Once finished with tool, it went into a "used" basket, so they could sterilize it afterwards. I had Shellac on my hands by Jenny and spa pedicure done by Holly. Both were very sweet!They do not pressure you to get most expensive package. You pick it the one you want when you walk in to avoid any miscommunication. Very reasonable/fair prices! read more

I was the first customer in this morning. It's a brand new location so I wanted to try it out. It's extremely clean with a relaxing atmosphere. All of their products and lotions (etc) are all natural and organic. Helen did my nails and she did an excellent job! She took her time and made sure I was happy before I left. I had the chance to chat with Vivian for quite some time until more customers came in. She is extremely caring and wants all of their customers to leave satisfied and feeling pampered. Great place! From the minute you walk in the door, you feel like you have been coming there for years. Everyone is so nice and friendly, so many packages to choose from and all of them very affordable in price. They serve, margaritas, wine, mimosas and sodas. I suggest the Sunkiss Pedicure. All organic lotions and creams rubbed on your legs with Orange slices! Hot wax, hot towels, and the best hot stone leg massage. Once you are polished they give you a neck and shoulder massage! I will be back and be bringing my friends!! read more

I told her all of my areas of concern and she provided a plan for me. She threaded my brows, and waxed my armpits and chin. While I was waiting for her, I saw a lot of other people getting their eyebrows tinted. I was curious about the process so I asked and based on her response I was confident enough to try it. It was a great experience! My Biggest concern was the tint being too dark. Typically the darker you go, the longer the tint will last, but I had events that week and I didn't want my eyebrows looking crazy dark. I expressed that to Sabin she told me that she could give me a lighter tint that would look natural. I was a bit nervous, but it was perfect! It lasted me about ~ two weeks. If I have a period of time where I don't have to go out in the public thenmaybe I'll get the darker tint but the natural tint she did for me was great. I'll definitely be back! The waxing was quick and painless. Total I believe my visit cost me around 60 bucks including tip. They do sell products at the front and I was convinced to buy the wipes for my eyebrows. I don't really think they were necessary as you could just use a dental gentle napkin or cloth to wipe your brows daily. They are located in a smaller lot so parking can be tricky, but I was able to find a spot just fine. The place itself was clean and they have about eight seats for services and a long bench in the waiting area for guest.

Overall, the customer service just didn't feel like a priority here. When we left my daughter told me she was cut multiple times too. First world problems I know with some of my complaints. Unfortunately, I left disappointed and won't be returning. Only tried a new salon because others didn't open until 9:30am and my friend was on a time crunch.
