Therefore services were supposedly performed be graduates/professionals. The staff was polite, though I questioned the scheduling of my mani/pedi before my other services. SInce they would need to be very dry to do the facial/hand paraffin and massage. As it turns out the girl who did the mani/pedi did such a bad job it didn't much matter. She filed back and forth like a saw and then got the dark red polish all over my fingers and despite many attempts to clean it up, I still ended up with blotches of polish around my nails.(If I can I'll add a picture). The esthetician wasn't too bad though she had turned on the steam and then tripped over the machine. She ended up not using it at all (I assume she broke it since I stated that my main purpose for the facial was moisturizing.) I also said I used ultra gentle facial products and never alpha hydroxy... so I was surprised that she put alpha hydroxy on my face. When I got to the massage it made some sense since confused me with the friend came with that day, and it turned out they had mixed our charts. The massage room was cold, the music was loud and and the treatment was fast and jerky- not the swedish relaxing massage I had asked for. Going with the Spa at CTS saved us $20 over our second choice. When you're shelling out $175 to $200 plus tips the $20 isn't worth the total lack of quality. I warn customers as well as people considering being students if this is what the graduate.

I have a lot of muscle tension in my lower back and issues with my shoulders and the massage therapists paid special attention to those areas to ensure the maximum physiological benefit. The prices were the best part. The 1 hour student massage was $25, and the one hour graduate massages were $35. There is a calming feel in the waiting room and the therapist arrives quickly to take you back to the well-appointed massage room. The heated massage tables and hot towels start working before you feel the oiled hands on the skin and muscles. I'm a huge fan of a good massage and I plan to make regular appointments here because the price is low enough that I can indulge more frequently than I probably need to. My last two massages were by Brandon who is well studied and passionate about the kinesiological attributes of massage therapy. Great service at a great price make me a repeat customer.

(6-8wk intervals if I remember correctly) ***i put trust in you guys (her specifically) bc I was happy with the results up until this point*** 2/22/2021(pharmacy receipt)- I pick up my prescription shampoo and PRESCRIPTION hair oil that I had to wash out an hour after putting on. These PRESCRIPTIONS actually calms my scalps. 2/24/2021(insta dm )-Sierra tells me the shedding might be normal because people could shed 100 strands a day. It was shedding and breaking well more than 100 strands as you can see from the pictures -And she tried to reassure me my last trim was internally (WHICH SHE SAID IN THE INSTA DM) so I wouldn't lose length. But I did. All my friends, family, and my new stylist said it look like I received a cut. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt because she said she just it was tighter curls so I was waiting for them to fall to its actual length. It didn't. I got a cut. **** between these two dates I called to make an appointment for the "strengthening/resurrection treatment(her words in the Instagram DM)" and I expressed my desire to get braids to what she did warn me that it would be dry to my hair. It's too embarrassing to have your broken hair on your shoulders on a daily basis. I canceled my appointment online and scheduled my box braids for the 3/19/2021 having of apprehension going back after this experience**** 3/2/2021(Instagram DM)-my last correspondence with Sierra expressing my embarrassment and disappointment bc my hair was tree branching split throughout my strands in which I SENT HER A VIDEO OF. Literally shedding at work. May 4(PayPal receipt)-new stylist/when that pic was taken. To reiterate, the only change was the addition of dye. I never said it touched my scalp but the only change was the hair dye. I do remember Sierra saying that you guys received a new product (it had a sweet smell to it) that you guys were testing out around that time that did touch my scalp after the rinsing out the color so it could've been that. I don't know. Like I said in my initial response absolutely no one knows how a person will react to particular chemicals/products. Which is why I did not put any blame to Sierra if my hair/scalp reacted the way it did. I even stated that I appreciated Sierra for giving me a list of multiple products I could use.
