She reviewed my Pinterest board of design inspo and met me at my house to walk through the space and hear our remodel plans. Before I'd even formally hired her, she was making smart suggestions to improve our ideas! Claire helped me source finishing materials that maintained a cohesive style. She provided presentations with options based on each room (e.g., for the bathroom she provided 3 bathtubs to pick from, several vanities, wall sconces, etc.) that would all look great together. She came back to my house to show me different tile & flooring samples and how they look in our space & lighting. It was incredibly helpful and really helped me maintain a cohesive style throughout the house. Our budget was somewhat small which made this task harder, but Claire was always up for the challenge and really respected our budget requests for materials. She has an incredible eye for design and she's very friendly. She's easy to get in touch with and she wants to help with even the smallest of questions (such as "Claire! Help! While they work on hourly consult rates which is a refreshing option for many of us, on a recent project, my business was clearly not valued. Calls and emails were not returned for days or weeks, plans not sent as promised, all eventually resolved through my repeated follow-ups. The justified reason is that a bigger client was requiring all their time. Customer Service 101. I pay my invoices on time and without question. I will set aside the sales tax issue which required multiple emails to be resolved. The last straw was the requirement to pay for a 4th consult by a sharp deadline or my consult would be canceled. What choice did I have? I will find an interior design firm that will appreciate my business.

Carole is an amazing designer. I had spent weeks trying to find the perfect backsplash to go with…read morethe beautiful Taj Mahal quartzite countertop I had chosen at Arizona Tile. I then met with a few designers at Arizona Tile and everyone kept showing me stone backsplash or a white ceramic tile backsplash. I knew that wasn't the look I wanted for my kitchen but I had no idea what it was I was looking for. I wanted something light, bright, classic but with a sandy look as we live near the beach. I contacted Carole and she immediately had a suggestion to look at large glass tiles. She had a few at home for me to look at and then met me at Arizona Tile to pick the perfect color. She suggested I go with the 4x12 Matte Islandia Lanai tile and it was exactly what I was wanting. She then helped me find the perfect grout and suggested I do the traditional subway style to give me a more classic look. After weeks of debating, Carole helped me pick out and design my backsplash in under an hour. Two weeks later our fabricator went to pick up our two slabs and found out that our perfect countertop had been double sold and was on its way to Las Vegas. We were in a panic. This was going to delay our kitchen project weeks. I called Carole and she dropped everything and met me at Arizona Tile to go through numerous lots of similar slabs. Nothing was right. Some were too brown, others too green. Carole insisted that they bring out more slabs for us and we managed to find two slabs that were possibly even prettier than my original ones. Project was back underway and only delayed by one day. I can't thank Carole enough for helping me with the design of my kitchen remodel. She made what was stressful into a fun, easy project. We are getting ready to remodel our master bathroom and I'm definitely having Carole help me with the tile and backsplash design.
