I've been here once and I WILL be back. First of all, I have a toddler who NEVER stops moving. So this was absolutely the best place to take him before nap time. We met up with my mom, sister, and niece so the kids could play. This was fun for both my two year-old and my six year-old niece. I definitely think that it's geared towards the younger ones... which they make perfectly clear. We reserved a spot from 11-1 which was a good time. It was busy and there weren't very many places to sit. People had tables reserved with their stuff which was a little frustrating since they weren't sitting there. The whole time we were there we saw at least two or three tables that had items on them, but no people. I think it would be nice if they had cubbies or containers... some sort of spot where people can leave their stuff and go hang out with their kids without blocking tables for those who plan on actually sitting at them. It's a great place to be able to have some coffee either by yourself or with a friend while your child(ren) play. They do have some small bites you can order as well as snacks for kids. They specify that you are not allowed to bring outside food or drinks. Of course water is the exception here as basically everyone had their giant tumblers as well as smaller ones for the kiddos. You're also allowed to bring things like baby food and whatever toddler snacks you keep in your bag at any given time. While they say no outside for or drinks are allowed, we DID see two moms who each had a toddler and a baby that brought in Chick-fil-A. They both had strollers since they had little bitty babies. So they could've snuck the food in, I don't know. They were already there when I arrived. So they either don't care that much or the two employees I saw were too busy to notice or care. I don't know how many people were working that day, but I into saw two. One was working like crazy trying to get all the drinks and food made for everyone while the other was in the play area trying to keep an eye on everything there. They were both working hard. The lady at the counter was VERY nice and extremely helpful. Especially when I was having a hard time getting the waiver signed online. She was very patient and made our first trip here very pleasant. They do offer party packages for events like birthdays as well as private rooms where you can work for a couple hours while your child plays... for an extra fee, of course. All in all, this place is great. I'm looking forward to our next trip. My coffee was delicious. My son liked his kolache - or hot dog as he called it lol. He had fun. My niece had fun. We absolutely LOVE JK! Gabby and all the staff are always so friendly and always helpful! We have been going there almost since they opened and have always had a wonderful experience. This is a great place for working parents to go so that their children can play in a safe environment. When I'm on calls for work, my colleagues and clients are always asking where I'm at and they wish they had a place like that to take their kids. I booked my son's 1st birthday party at Just Kidding Play Cafe three months in advance and paid around $700 for their "Just Show Up" package, which advertised pizza, drinks, snacks, frozen treats, decorations, a party host, full setup, and cleanup. Unfortunately, we did not receive what was promised. From the moment I booked, communication was almost nonexistent. I never received a confirmation email, receipt, or follow-up about the party. A week before the event, I had to call myself just to ask what colors I had selected because there was no way to review my booking details. I was told to email photos, colors, and the "vibe" I wanted for the theme ("Harrison & Co."), which I immediately did. I received no response. Two days before the party, I called again to confirm the owner had received the email, and I was told yes. The day before the party, my mom called because I was nervous about the lack of communication, especially with a unique theme. Gabrielle told us she usually does confirmation calls 72 hours in advance (which we never received) and assured us everything was understood and we could "just show up and enjoy the party." I also dropped off additional decorations the day before, including a banner and photo table pieces of my son. When I originally booked months earlier, I specifically asked what decorations would be included because I wanted to know what I needed to provide myself. I was told the package would include things like a banner, balloon arch, backdrop, table toppers, number balloon, tablecloths, plates, and more within a $140 decoration budget. When we arrived, the room was extremely underwhelming and honestly disappointing. The only banner displayed was the one I brought myself. The only table decorations used were the photos I provided. There was one small basic balloon arch, a number balloon, tablecloths, and plates still sitting in the Family Dollar wrapper instead of set out on the tables. The room looked bare. What made this more disappointing is that the "Just Show Up" parties shown on their social media look nothing like what we received. I had also recently attended my niece's party there and saw firsthand how much more effort, decoration, and detail went into her event compared to ours. There was also no party host throughout the event. My friend passed out pizza, my sister cut and served cake, and my family cleaned the room ourselves. Right as we were almost finished cleaning, Gabrielle walked in and told us we didn't need to clean because she would do it. I chose not to address the decoration issues during the party because I wanted to focus on enjoying my son's first birthday instead of dealing with conflict during the event. At the end of the party, my mom respectfully explained to Gabrielle that while we would still pay in full, we did not receive the services we paid for. There were no frozen treats provided, no host, and the decorations were nowhere near what had been advertised or described to us when booking. Gabrielle repeatedly responded by saying she had a $140 budget and "didn't know what direction she was allowed to go in" because it wasn't a basic Disney theme... despite having three months to contact us for clarification. She also kept reducing our concerns down to "so you wanted more balloons," which completely missed the point. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability afterward. There was no genuine apology, no offer to make it right, no discount, no complimentary pass, nothing.. despite the fact that several advertised services were not provided. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after paying a premium price for an stress-free "Just Show Up" experience, this was incredibly disappointing. booked my sons first birthday at "jkc" and WOW, what an incredible disappointment. My wife and I booked months in advance and decided on the "just show up" package. Cost around $700, which we feel is reasonable with everything that's "included". mind you we booked MONTHS (3+) in advance. We never received a confirmation email, phone call or text. There was absolutely no communication and was extremely hard to get in contact with the owner "gabreial". 2 days before the party we finically get in contact with her and she's acting like everything's normal and reassuring us that everything is taken care of. The day of the party comes, again we ordered the "just show up" part package. naturally we get there about 30 minutes early to look over and get anything else set up that we'd like. the room isn't even set up, dirty to say it kindly and Gabriela hasnt provide a single decoration. my wife provided everything. we had no staff working the party so my wife and I hosted instead of attending, blessed and thankful to get todo so but not even as much as cutting or helping pass out the cake, food, clean up or even SET UP THE PARTY WE PAID $700+ TO JUST SHOW UP TO. absolutely false advertisement and poor character. horrible customer service to put the icing on the cake. mind you, this was my youngest sons first birthday. leading up to this my wife would take both of our boys to play there multiple times a week meeting up with friends and family there. we will never spend money and your establishment again. the 20+ families that attended the party, they're all aware of the lack of care you run your company with. First, the young ladies are kind and helpful, which is reason for 1 star. Wanted to take my toddler to a nice place and this business was advertised on instagram and it looked promising due to videos and photos plus kids play and coffee? Upon parking and entering the cafe realized the video and photos are from when the business first opened. I drove 40 minutes to the place so I wanted to give it a chance. Starting with the floor mat (coming apart), windows, window seats, slides are filthy. I could even see spider webs on all the ceiling and playground. Paying the minimum which is $15 per kid the owners should make sure the place is keep safe and clean. I have attached photos to show proof of experience. read more

This is a mom-owned, mom-operated business and you can tell! The play space has padded stairs up to a slide down to a ball pit. The back wall has all kinds of magnets. There are light sticks and a play kitchen, a small climbing pyramid and slide, a Duplo block table, and a coloring area. Plus there is a small separate area for very little ones, also with books. There is foam puzzle flooring in the play area and kids are required to wear grippy socks. (If you forget yours they have some available to buy.) Parents can go in the play area but it's very easy to observe the kids from the cafe tables and chairs on two sides. There is a half wall separating the play area from the cafe area. It's light and bright and very clean. The cafe has hot and cold drinks, bottled juices, apple sauce and yogurt squeezies, kolaches and grilled cheese sandwiches, plus typical toddler bagged snacks (pirate's booty, gold fish, fig bars, instant oatmeal, bananas). The back wall has several party rooms where they also host classes like "Tutus and tea" and Spanish mini lessons. My 2 and 4 year old granddaughters loved it! And it gave their mom a chance to do a little work on her laptop while keeping an eye on them. read more

I hesitated a lot before writing this review, but if anyone reads this, the best thing you can do is call ahead before driving all that way. It was our first time there. We arrived and asked what we should know about the place. They explained everything well, and the young people working there were friendly, but the facilities are a bit worn down, although everything was still okay. The problem arose when someone approached us and told us to leave because there was a private party and they had reserved the entire place. The question is: why didn't anyone tell us that when we arrived? We definitely wouldn't have paid $14 and spent $40 at the cafeteria only to be literally kicked out. I definitely wouldn't let my daughter feel less important than the other children again. read more

I booked my son's 5th birthday party there without ever visiting first. My friend went there and I saw her post on IG and I liked what I saw and decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did!! I got the Pinterest Palooza Package and it was perfect!!! Gabrielle and her team went above and beyond for us. From the decorations, the food, the goodie bags, drinks, and helping round up the kids to eat and sing happy birthday. She was just wonderful. And the kids had a BLAST!!! We had about 10 kids show up and all of them had soooo much fun playing in all the different play centers. I did bring my own food & extra drinks but I honestly didn't need to. I will say though just a couple of things to keep in mind, I would bring extra kid drinks for the kids to drink throughout their time there and bring socks!!! Thankfully there's a family dollar right next door so that saved me but other than that it was great!! I cannot recommend them enough. I'll post pictures when I get them from Gabrielle. read more
