Well the price per share includes delivery straight to your door! Worried about timing of delivery? They actually text you to alert you about when they drop the package of. Would you like organic eggs, raw chocolate, meat, and other products added to your order? Just text them to add it. Worried about CSAs that make you pay for 6 months of service up front? This is non contractual! Just pay for the weeks you want and forget the rest. Last but not least, worried about paying for an amalgam of fruits and veggies you've never heard of? I was too. Until I saw that they post a list of what will be added in this weeks shipment! Genius. It takes the guessing work and long driving out of the Csa equation! Just pay, and enjoy :) the customer service was great and I received an ample amount of organic florida produce to cook and juice. I will definitely be ordering again. First time i discovered the farm was when we went to a pumpkin patch. Great spot to spend the afternoon with the family. They have a petting zoo in the back where you can purchase food and feed the goats, pig, tortoise and even emu. They have a cafe inside where you can order food and have some great smoothies. The spot also offers a lot of organic food, house supplies and beauty products you can buy as well as packaged goods like sauces and pickled food. Marando farms also sell plants and fresh fruits and vegetables. You can definitely leave with a couple bags of goodies here.

We picked up some homemade jam, fresh sourdough, and an absolutely delicious mango salsa made from produce grown right on the farm. They gave us lettuce to feed the animals, which was definitely a highlight: the goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and other animals were so friendly and excited for snacks. Shopping carts are available at the entrance. There's so much to see and do here. The assortment of food vendors here have every flavor you could possibly be craving. Little beer gardens are also scattered if you'd like a cold beverage while browsing. There's also lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I found some delicious fresh lychees and a pink pineapple. Excited to cut into that! I was thrilled about the bathroom situation. I was expecting to see porta potties. Instead, there were clean, flushable toilets. Complete with a cleaning staff! This gave me the comfort of being able to eat, drink and browse in peace and not having to worry about finding a clean bathroom. 10/10

For a lucky few (and I'm one!), membership in the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) group will get them a box of organic fruits and vegetables from South Florida organic sources during the November-April growing season. Egg and honey shares are available too. One box I received this year had Florida sea salt! (who knew?) The CSA shares can either be picked up at the farm, or at various delivery sites in Miami-Dade, Broward and the Keys. During the summer, weekly emails list what summer fruits are available for purchase at the farm. Just sign up on the web site for notifications. This week I picked up two varieties of carambola (starfruit), passionfruit, longans (like small leechees) and tropical fruit honey. There are almost always avacados available in the summer. Keep in mind that this is not a tourist attraction. It is a working farm, with the associated dirt roads, mud, bugs, etc. Don't wear your dancing shoes.
