There's the typical ingredients that are usually used in regular cooking, but also unique finds. Great place for anyone looking for out of the box produce and discover new amazing flavors. The second reason is the arepas!!! Soft, warm, ooey and gooey! Well-made and utterly delicious. As far as parking, it can get a little tricky around noon. But after 2, it's far less stressful to find parking and walk without bumping into so many folks.

There are tons of vendors, plenty of produce, food trucks, fresh juices, games and rides for kids, lots of parking, and enough things to see that you can easily spend a few hours just wandering around. My favorite part, and honestly the main reason I keep coming back, is La Fontana Verde. If you love herbs, teas, tinctures, and natural wellness, do yourself a favor and stop in. The owners are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. My family and I always end up asking a million questions, and they never make us feel rushed. They genuinely care and are always willing to share their knowledge. It's become our go-to herb shop. The produce selection at the market is huge, and it's actually kind of fun comparing prices between vendors. My only wish is that there were more certified organic fruits and vegetables available. If organic produce is your top priority, that may be a downside. But if you're looking for seasonal fruits, including seeded watermelons (yes, fruit is supposed to have seeds!), you'll find plenty of options. Another bonus is that parts of the market are covered, so even if Florida decides to randomly rain on your plans, you can still enjoy walking around. Overall, Redland Market Village is a South Florida staple. Come for the produce, stay for the Seeded fruit, and definitely don't leave without stopping by La Fontana Verde.

I came in on Mother's Day with my family and had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had…read more We waited nearly two hours for our food, and our waitress disappeared for about an hour and a half before finally returning just to ask if our food had already come out. The lack of communication and attention was completely unacceptable. When the food finally arrived, we were told the arroz moro was no longer available, so we had to switch sides to fries at the last minute. On top of that, the food came out cold and at completely different times. My husband's plate arrived long after everyone else's, and when it finally did, his steak was rare and undercooked. By that point, we had completely lost our appetite and ended up taking all of the food to go without eating there. What was supposed to be a special Mother's Day dinner turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. My boys ended up taking me somewhere else to eat afterward so I could finally enjoy a decent meal with good food and service. I will not be returning and would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. Honestly, you could have had a better experience at McDonald's or the food trucks across from them. I had a wonderful Mothers Day but not at Redlands. The photos are of the food that was brought out to us with our two hour wait.. Warning: many negative reviews mention long wait times even outside of holidays or peak periods. certain five-star reviews may come from friends, family members, or incentivized accounts rather than typical customers. You all know how tents as establishments in the dirt road near Ureka or Homestead are hard to keep clean. This farmer's market is on the left side on a dirt road and I was impressed how everything is neat and clean. All their fruits and produce have a very rich look and smell. Definitely not what you get at your supermarket covered in Estou a caminho! And preservatives. The mangos have a gorgeous ripe smell and the cilantro is rich and fresh since they keep it on cool water pots and fridges. The owner, Nelson has two huge tanks with constant running water where he has gorgeous sized tilapias which he will catch the one you like and have it cleaned for your enjoyment at home. He also breeds his own fish and feeds them top quality pellets with fish products and organic fish food. No hormones here. The prices are phenomenal for the deep and the shallow pocket, you can spend two dollars on a small tilapia or eight dollars on a tilapia alone, it also depends how how much produce and fresh fruit you go ahead and buy, it's all up to the consumer. Regardless the prices are very inexpensive in my opinion and you are receiving great service and amazing quality. Besides tropical fruits, they can make shakes for you with anything you buy and they also have coconuts, sugar cane juice (guarapo) and many more like tamarind. I will be visiting more often, after all it's very close to us and with their advice, their hygienic standard and feasible prices it's a no brainier.

I am a bit disappointed in the "farmer" aspect of this market. There seems to be only 1 main produce vendor and their prices are way too similar to Publix and some items are even more expensive! The produce selection doesn't have any real gems except for the lychees. Those are sold by multiple vendors and at a very good price! Sadly, the produce aspect of the market is underwhelming and defeats the real purpose of a farmer's market. HOWEVER, the product stalls are full of really nice gems. The best one is the fresh ceviche truck. $5 gets you a very generous portion of fish ceviche. It is super fresh and well seasoned. The kettle corn found at another stand is that perfect sweet and salty marriage that only the best of snacks can achieve. The fact that it is made in small batches with a lot of attention to detail is very evident! The arepas are really great! Not your standard fair food - these are authentic arepas that can be stuffed with a variety of options like pork or veggies and not just cheese. There is also a brick oven pizza stand. The pizza is very thin crust and good if eaten right away. Took leftovers home and they did not fare well at all :( Really liked the pooch perks booth. They have homemade treats and toys for your pets and the owners were very nice to my little boy. Market also has the follwoing stands: smoothies, Indian curries, asian fruits, gelato and some clothing and handmade creams. I'll go back for the finished food products, not the produce. Most vendors take credit cards, but have cash on you as well.
