Did not finish the job. Put in a new sprinkler...meaning only the cylinder part. The sprinkle part was not there. I'm sure I was charged for an item I never received. Had another sprinkler company. I had Just Sprinklers out recently because I was receiving an error code on my irrigation box. The technician came out, fixed the error code and did fix the zone that was not properly working. He then asked to see the irrigation boxes that controlled half of the other zones. I told him there was no problem with those zones but he wanted to check them anyway. After lifting the lid on one of the boxes he told me I needed a whole new manifold. He told me I needed to do it "right away" before my irrigation system completely stopped working. He send me an estimate for $4,500, and again encouraged me to do it quickly. I had a second irrigation company check the manifold and was told by them that there was nothing wrong with my system. The irrigation system was in proper working order. I am so mad that Just Sprinklers tried to get me to spend $4,500 on something that wasn't necessary. I feel duped by them. Just Sprinklers: Horrible service, horribly overpriced, and poor workmanship! Unfortunately, on June 17, 2027 I contacted Just Sprinklers to repair a water leak in my front yard. Prior to the Technician arriving, I dug out where water was surfacing from the ground. When the Technician arrived, he had only to dig an eighteen inch trench beginning at the hole I already dug. For the next two hours I periodically spoke with him about the progress made. He repeatedly stated he would have the job finished in about five minutes. After two and one half hours, I had to leave to pick up prescriptions (my wife was on hospice, hence the delay in generating this review). The Technician again said he would be finished in just a few minutes, and that he would be billing for only three hours. As I return from a about a forty-five minute drive, I saw the Technician leaving the neighborhood. An invoice was emailed later that day. I was billed for $617.40, and noted I've been built for three and one-half hours of labor. As I had been without water for almost two days, I began by washing dishes. Within seconds the faucet in my kitchen, a faucet that was less than one-year-old, stop working. I contacted MOEN, and they sent me the required parts. When the sprinklers began working, I observed my backyard was flooded; as previously stated, the initial leak was in my front yard. This leak had never happened before. I again called the office to cite these issues, and I was told a Supervisor would be coming out tomorrow. The Supervisor advised I should have flushed the lines through an outside hose before using other faucets. I was never informed that I should've done that by the Technician that made the initial repair. I was not aware the lines should be flushed, nor was I made aware the amount of debris that had entered the sprinkler lines. When questioned about the backyard flooding, this Supervisor explained that a valve was probably leaking before the repair in the front yard, and that debris in the line had probably further damaged that valve. I explained there never been flooding in my backyard prior to this repair, and he advised the labor would be approximately $150 and parts would be another $150 to repair that valve. I again called to complain about poor service and how my sink was fully operational as were the sprinklers in the backyard prior to the repair completed by Simply Sprinklers. The Supervisor returned the next day. He reported he had rebuilt the valve and that there would be no cost. Again, I was left to replace the kitchen faucet. The backyard continued to flood following his "repair." Within two weeks the initial leak resurfaced in the same place in my front yard. Realizing Just Sprinklers was totally incompetent, I telephoned a sprinkler supply agency and they recommended Right Price Sprinklers. They arrived in just a matter of hours and advised me the initial leak would have to be further explored. Right Price Sprinklers dug a hole to discover the initial repair had not been done properly. They completely corrected the initial repair, and I was charged $138.00. I would never recommend Just Sprinklers. They're both overpriced and incompetent. I would highly recommend Right Price Sprinklers as they were professional, competent, and reasonably priced. I will be contacting them again to repair that "rebuilt valve" that continues to flood my backyard read more

The staff here are super helpful and will help you figure out any issue you may be having with your irrigation drip system, pumps, ponds, etc. My favorite is their gorgeous xeriscaped area that includes a pond, fish and a waterfall. Corona had us down because of limited tree options for Christmas. The hubby and I began our adventure with low Hope's of securing our prize. As we reminisced of past trees we drove past Just Sprinklets and were happy to report that their sign lied. Lied because besides sprinklers they had a yard full of beautiful Christmas trees!!!! We quickly turned around to park and go check it out. Adhering to mask protocol, we quickly walked into their trees looking for the right one. Low pressure sales to let us select the right one was greatly. We opted for an eight footer and the hubby pulled the truck around while the staff wrapped our tree for the trip home. I went in to pay. Store was bright, staff extremely helpful and nice. They even sterilized the pens! Remember to request a veteran discount if it applies. Will look for our tree with them next year. read more

Potential customer: BEWARE! For the third season in a row, I paid JUST SPRINKLERS to turn off my water for the winter and to turn it on in the spring. Included in that service, includes checking each imiter to make sure they all function properly. Again, for the third season, the day after the technician service my lot/yard, most of the imitors didn't function and I lost several plants. I sent John Seaver a letter with my complaint and I called the shop. John Seaver did call me several days later, left his cell number but I never received a call back. The company took my money and just abandonded me. I suppose that the technicians have many customers to service, but they should never take the customers' money and then just neglect to complete the job. It's all about the money. 9/29/2021 we had Just Sprinklers out to service a System they installed in 2019 due to a recurring issue with leaking valves. We have had this issue every year since the system was installed and have had to have many valves completely replaced because once they are broken, they can not be simply repaired. The initial system bid that we were quoted with included a five year warranty, however each time Just Sprinklers comes out to service an issue, the issue is conveniently not Just Sprinklers fault (according to them) and therefore billable because it is not covered under warranty. We have asked why the valves are so fragile. We had even asked about adding a filter to the system in 2020 and were not finally given a verbal quote until 9/29/21. The most cost effective way would cost us an additional $750. I also feels it's relevant to tell you that Just Sprinklers is blaming the incoming city of Albuquerque water for the problem. I'd love to hear who else has leaking sprinkler valves from their regular incoming city water. I suspect we all have the same valves from Just Sprinklers. I mentioned to the service provider that if the city water was the issue I'd expect a sprinkler truck for every single home on the street. Obviously this is not the case and we suspect the fragility of the installed valves secures return business. We will be taking ours elsewhere. Buyer beware of Just Sprinklers. This isn't a company to hire for the average homeowner with the average yard. What they are more geared to is institutions with large budgets, where the accounting department doesn't give a flip about how much they spend. So if you're a homeowner -keep this in mind as you get bids if you're doing a massive landscape remodel. They get the job done, but whether they spend an hour or 10 minutes (as they once did) their service call starts at $89.95. What's unfortunate is last summer, after spending a considerable amount paying them to fix a drip system, I found some leaks that they missed. Made an appointment online. Nobody showed or contacted. I called and was told it wasn't in the system. I told woman I had a confirm email, but she says they don't send emails (patently false). She proceeded to fish for my info and when I gave her my name she said she had called and left a message. No such call was made; I never gave my name in the request as I was making it for my deaf friend, but I did leave my number. Furthermore, it is odd they would call anyone without having the info in their system. Given the unprofessional attitude by not showing up or contacting us and then being dishonest about it, I decided to go with another company (the rep didn't care. Apparently they don't need jobs in excess of $10,000). I can't trust them to be honest when meeting a quote. Steer clear. Too many red flags here. read more

Had an appointment scheduled today. Was told to wait between 11:00 and 3:00. No one showed up. No one called. When I spoke to "Angie" she did nothing to try and keep me as a customer. I guess "Just Sprinklers" makes plenty of money and doesn't need to have anymore customers. Fine with me. There is PLENTY of competition in town. Technician: John Hoffman Our sprinklers stopped working a couple weeks ago, but we didn't notice (had set the scheduled watering, and forgot it). We finally noticed when our bushes started to look crinkly. I was out of town, and didn't want a day longer to pass with the July sun baking our landscaping. Called Just Sprinklers and scheduled an installation of a new sprinkler control device. The next day John called, confirmed my address, and told me he'd call me when done. He did that 30 minutes later and told me he added slack to the wire going from the ground to the device. The told me he tested it, and set it to the allowed watering schedule by ABCWUA. Bottom Line: Don't use these guys, you are better off calling someone from Craigslist. I was. How do you get 4 pages of 5 star reviews that are "not recommended"? The same way you come out to turn on some sprinklers and leave a $2400 quote for actual repair and a $400 bill for who knows what. I called someone from craigslist who charged me $100 for something Just Sprinklers refused to do unless I paid them $2500. Don't get me wrong, this was not just a difference of opinions or a matter of we chose a different route, these guys have some dishonest business practices, plain and simple. Here's my story One day I noticed a dry spot on my grass, I tried to turn on my sprinklers from the timer box, nothing happened. I happened to notice that the ac adapter that typically has wires wrapped around screws had one wire that had come loose, so I asked my husband to call the guys we had used in the past. Later that week, Just Sprinklers came out. Super Nice kid named Patrick. He looked at my system, I think he was a little bit scared of it, it may have been older than he was. He was working for about 15 minutes when I see all of the sprinklers on, so I go outside and say "great you got them all on" and he says no, I manually turned them on down in the hole and now they won't shut off. "I think you need a whole new system see that the knob to the emergency shut off valve is missing, and the timer box isn't getting any voltage to it, so the battery is the only thing that is keeping it on." I told him I am aware of that, it isn't that the box is bad, it is just that it needs the wire reattached and I left him to it. The next time I talked to him, he tells me that the timer box is indeed bad and it would be $200 for a new box and that would fix my problem. I told him I would have to ask my husband and let him know. In the mean time, he offered to call his boss to see if he had time to come and give me an estimate to replace my whole sprinkler system since it was so old. I told him I couldn't get a hold of my husband but replacing the timer box and fixing my problem would be great. So he did that. Then he waited for his boss, who was "just finishing up and would be here shortly" His boss came, nice guy. Told me all about how I needed a whole new system, again cited the missing knob and valve #4 that won't shut off now that they turned it on and is still leaking. Then he told me to listen to the sizzling leak, which I could hear. I could also hear when he jiggled the knob to show me he was trying to turn it completely off to stop the leak, and it actually worked. I don't think he was counting on it turning off, he then turned it again so it continued to leak (proving that I need a whole new system). I could feel the big gouge coming so I asked him to give me a quote for the replacement as well as what it would cost just to repair zone four, so I could get my sprinklers back on. He said, they don't really do that anymore, because the values have so many parts, they are too complicated to repair properly. So really my only option was to replace the whole system or find someone else. Since the only thing they could do was replace everything, I asked him to give me a quote to move the controls out of the walkway they are in right now, he said "sure that would probably only be a couple more bucks." Received the quote about 15 minutes later $1800 for the new system $2400 to move the box. I thanked them, and asked them if I could think about it. Then they handed me a bill for the box replacement $400?!?!?!?!? $200 for the box $90/hr for him to plug in the new box, manually turn off zone 4, and stand around waiting for his boss to arrive to give me a quote. Called someone from craigslist who replaced zone 4 valve for $100 (parts included) read more

I called to schedule a repair estimate for the drip lines in my terraced back yard landscape and to get a cost estimate to replace my irrigation control box. The appointment window was 3 hours which seems long to wait for a tech to come over to produce an estimate. Two hours in the window I got a call from Ed, who identified as a Foreman and who said he's got two to three more appointments to do and probably wouldn't make it to my home tonight if ever. He said I didn't need an estimate to find out they'd charge $90/hour for a repair call, and they could replace my control box with another unit they'd have on their trucks. I ended that call from Ed at Just Sprinklers with no more information that I had to begin with, but only after waiting 2 hours past my appointment window. I'm only giving 1-star (instead of ZERO) since they did bother to phone me instead of just not showing up. If Just Sprinklers is too busy, or unwilling or unable to commit resources to give an on-site estimate for a project of my scope then they should have told me that when I called in the first place. This was extremely discourteous and unprofessional, so I will not be engaging Just Sprinklers (as I had many times before). read more

We recently bought a home and Just Sprinklers did some repair work during the escrow period. As the new owners, we got a copy of the invoice dated April 4, 2019, which states "All materials and labor are guaranteed for a period of one year commencing on the day of job completion." Now that we have finished unpacking and are getting settled, we set aside time this past weekend to tackle the sprinklers (setting the timer, figuring out stations, adjusting sprayers, etc). Well, we looked all over and couldn't find the control box so I called Just Sprinklers to help me out. I knew they had installed the original system because the top of the valve control box has their name on it. The person I spoke with seemed kind at first but then after taking all my information, told me there was a $99/hour service call fee. I told her we didn't need any repairs, just the location of the timer box. I explained to her I had the invoice with a guarantee but she said that didn't apply. When I suggested maybe the technician who did the repair work might know the box location, she told me he no longer worked there. Frustrated, I posted a 1-star review. Later the same day, the owner himself called me to find out what the problem was. After I detailed the conversation earlier in the day, he apologized for the poor customer service. He explained this was his business and NOT how he wants to be represented, offering to come out personally to solve the problem. I assured him his phone call made all the difference and when we need sprinkler help in the future, we will be sure to call them. His care reassured my confidence in this small business. read more

Just annoyed with Just Sprinklers just now. They came out to check on some sprinkler issues we were having, and the kid they sent seemed nice, competent and knowledgeable - also a really hard worker. They did some preliminary work to fix an immediate problem, but suggested new sprinklers, blah blah blah. I knew we needed new ones - I also know we can't afford them. But I did it anyway. The price was too high for my liking, but the kid told me they would deduct the current invoice from the new work. Okay, that helps a bit, so I made the appointment. The guy who came out to replace the sprinklers worked his ass off all day in the heat, and did a great job. No complaints about him at all. Or the kid, actually. There were some administrative snafus with the scheduling, and with another guy we scheduled to come give us an estimate on additional work. It seems the right hand does not know what the left is doing there. When I had called to make the second appointment, the woman on the phone and I were very specific about payment. She assured me the first invoice would be deducted - very cool - and asked if I wanted the same credit card charged. I said yes, and she assured me all was well, appointment set, payment secured, etc. For the next month they call me about twice a week to see if we are happy with the work they did. I don't know if they said anything else, after the first six times I stopped listening to their messages. Today, over a month since the second appointment, I got an invoice stating that my payment was past due. WTF? In addition to that, only part of the original invoice was deducted from the amount due. Whatever - I called to pay, explained, added that I was annoyed (since I thought the charge had been made over a month ago) and got zero response other than, ok, do you want to pay now? No. No, I don't. I want you to do what you said you would do and charge me last month. But this will have to do. (Didn't actually say that, just wanted to.) Now, after I have already called to pay, I realize they charged me the wrong amount. Too high, of course. So now I have to call and deal with that tomorrow. Unhappy. In general, they did a good job of the physical work. But I think they are overpriced and their administrative customer service needs a boost. Everyone is very nice - that isn't the issue. They need to get it together a bit more. Two stars for service, four for actual work, two for price and mismanagement of invoicing. Do not ever use this company unless you want non stop headaches and unanswered promises. The owner John is as crooked as they come. Always is going to call you back yet never does. He put turf which he himself noted to have had major problems yet 4 months later has done nothing to fix it. Then would like to charge me another astronomical amount for astroturf. Fat chance I should give another penny after spending 10,000 dollars on terrible workmanship. I have to give these guys some serious kudos. First off, their name is a little misleading. They do not just have sprinklers. Oh, yes, they have sprinklers. Crap-tons of them in fact. For the yard. Drip systems. Hoses, etc. Very impressive collection. They also have other yard items such as sod, decorations and the like. But they also have pond supplies, which is what drew me here. I needed some new things for my filter system in my pond. I didn't know that they didn't really carry the type of system I have. Rather than try to cobble something together or sell me things that I didn't need, they referred me to another store in town which carried the type of system I have. That's the kind of honesty that is all too rare these days. While they may have "lost" a sale today, I can guarantee that I'll be back because I know I'm going to get the honest help I need. My husband and I are in dyer need of a sprinkler company. Did research on Yelp and another website and most of the ratings are good. So took a chance and scheduled a day off from work and waited. Obviously we were the last call of the day. Being home and waiting for a 4 hour time frame is ridiculous! With few calls made to Allison and she saying there was a glitch at the office and driver still on his way. There were no courtesy calls to us explaining the delay. Except for one saying the driver is still enroute. At 315, my husband canceled the service call. At 345 the driver shows up half hour after we cancelled the call. Customer service really is bad, the office dosen't communicate with the techs. We deserved more then an apology. Won't be calling them again. LF read more

We had several large irrigation leaks on a 12 year old system on a portion of a 100 acre commercial property. Just Sprinklers was the only company not intimidated by a job of this size. All staff from office, billing, estimator and techs were professional, and timely in completing work. We have used them twice and received excellent service and results both times. Disappointed. We tried to use someone local in Rio Rancho. The original appointment was for 8 to 10 AM. We ended up having to reschedule for 12. I asked about the drip system and we walked the property so I could show him how massive the drip system was. We decided to do a temporary fix. John said "I'll be honest with you. I don't want to rebuild this because if you decide to redo the whole system, you're going to ask me for a credit." I agreed to have him put on a shut off valve and replace a sprinkler head. The consultation and the 20 minutes worth of work cost $90 in labor. I chose this route because the $6,000 worth of future work is on the horizon. It's too bad because the owner of the house refuses to now do business with Just Sprinklers at all. read more

I called to request an appointment for a quote. The tech came to my house 6 hours after the scheduled time. I never received the quote. Scheduler called two week later saying that they needed to send someone else because the person that came to my house does not do quotes. I agreed to their availability and took yet another day off to be there between 12:00 and 4:00. Person never showed up. When scheduler called AGAIN to schedule an appointment I told her I could not take another day off and asked if they were willing to meet me after 5:00pm. She said no, then transferred me to another lady who also said they could not work with me to get a quote. I told her "it should not be this hard to give you business; get your supervisor to give me a call". Supervisor never called. Very disappointed. I wanted to support local businesses. read more

Jose was very honest and professional and explained to me what needed to be replaced, repaired or could be left alone. I gave Jose 50% down and scheduled a crew for the middle of July. After years of patronizing this store, spending literally thousands of dollars over that time period, I will NEVER shop at Just Sprinklers again. Had a very unpleasant experience while trying to SPEND $800. The employees were too lazy to be bothered with draining a fountain and getting it ready to take home because "we close in an hour". Had the two female employees seriously working hard to get us to NOT buy the fountain, using a variety of excuses, as well as by having a condescending, totally unhelpful attitude. Made us feel like WE were the problem because we wanted to buy something that caused them to have to do their job. They clearly didn't care about whether or not they lose a regular, loyal customer. I expected, however, that management would care, so I sent an email to the address on the website saying I had a bad experience that I would like to talk with them about. Do you think I got a response? NO. So obviously management and or owner John Seaver don't care either. So they will get no more of my money, which won't hurt them a bit. If I could go negative on the scoring I would. I went to Just Sprinklers to get some sprinkler heads, they were out of stock, but assured me that they would call when they were in. Never called. Went to the Montgomery store for a pond pump & filter. Sold a pump only after being assured it had both features. Then bought a pump and filter, the hose was a 1/4" smaller than designed. Called Monday, assured I would be called Tuesday - no callback. Went to the store Wednesday, a sequential part did not mate to the pump & filter. Assured I would be called on Thursday, no callback. I guess they have no clue what customer service means. read more

I had someone come out and give me an estimate of $150-175 to add a sprinkler head in the corner of my hard. I made the appointment and took the day off of work to make sure I was home. The morning of the appointment I called in to confirm the time they would be showing up and was told no later than 2pm. Then a little after 2 I get a phone call stating that a customer had called in that morning and requested someone to come out and because of that they could no full fill my appointment I had scheduled a week prior and took the day off for. I had called In to talk to the owner and instead got their customer relations manager. She told me she would give me a nice discount if I would let her reschedule to do the work. After all the work was done and it was to late to say anything and after a $50 credit my bill went from being &150-175 to $220. Not even two weeks later the pipe that they laid busted. I called in to get it fixed and was told by their manager that it's not covered in their warranty since they only replaced sprinkler heads and didn't do anything with pipes, then she went on to read all the parts that I was billed for which was pipe and a swivel. If you only replaced sprinkler heads and didn't lay or touch any pipes why am I being billed for it. read more
