9/29/2021 We had "Just Sprinklers" out to service our sprinkler system that they installed in 2019 due to a recurring issue with leaking sprinklers heads. (think swamp) We've had this issue every year since the system was installed and they've replaced 3 of the 5 valves (at $150 per valve), it adds up quick. The detailed, initial system bid we were quoted, included a five year warranty. However, each time Just Sprinklers comes out to service the same issue, it is conveniently not Just Sprinklers fault (according to them) and therefore billable, not covered under warranty! We have asked why these valves are so fragile. We have asked about adding a filter to the system and was given a verbal quote today of $750 (after asking last year, when the same issue occurred). I will tell you that Just Sprinklers is blaming the incoming city of Albuquerque water. A small piece of sand/debris is all it takes to cause all this havoc. Sounds like a poor solution for unfiltered water. Who needs valves so delicate to filter water for the yard? I'd love to hear who else has leaking sprinklers from faulty valves with their regular city water, who isn't serviced by Just Sprinklers? I mentioned to the service technician that if the city water was the problem, I'd expect to see a sprinkler truck at every home on the street. Obviously this is not the case and we suspect the fragility of the installed valves secures return business. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Looking for reputable plumbing referrals. Buyer beware, Just Sprinklers won't stand behind the systems they install or their warranties. read more

Five Stars to Just Sprinklers Albuquerque Store! After Installation 13 days ago of 300 s/f of blue grass sod, 10 rotator sprinkler nozzles and a wi-fi controller, I now have a beautiful, healthy, fast growing lawn! No seams visible! Must mow sooner than expected! All to the credit of the excellent customer service attitude and product knowledge of JS! I have confidence that my new little lawn will thrive and that JS will be there to help if needed. (As an 80 yr old , single woman, that's important!) After several, failed, previous sod/reseeding efforts with other contractors over the years (who put the sod in, got paid, and left! No guarantees, no aftercare assistance or advice), I'm extremely impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness of everyone at JS who was involved in this project: John Hoffman, my original contact, who assessed and coordinated the project and has been so patient, flexible, AND available thruout ; Francisco and crew for their hard work in the tearout of the old grass and prepping for the new; Johnny Ray and crew for their preciseness and care in installing the new sod, willing to do little extras and taking pride in a job well done! The worksite always left clean and neat. Also, the manager, Robert, followed up, checking the job each step along the way, and since, 2 weeks later. Note: Everyone showed up EARLIER than scheduled! Needed to replace my irrigation timer box with one that I purchased at local big box store. I called and was given an appointmentent that was convenient for me. I received a call the day prior to confirm the appointment. The crew of two arrived within the allotted time and quickly got to work on the project. Josh and his apprentice were personable and professional. They complete the work in a timely manner. Josh assisted me in setting up the App on my iPhone for the new timer and went through all the programs to ensure that everything was correct. He found some erroneous settings in one program and cleared them. He did a test and all systems were performing as programmed. When the project was completed, they made certain to pick up any trash and supplies. Great crew who did a great job. Cost was less than expected. Woke up to a flooded backyard and suspected a broken sprinkler water line that was covered by years of dirt. I called around town for help and being the Friday before Memorial day seems like no one was available., I was feeling kind of desperate because I had to keep the main water line off, didn't know where or how to shut off the supply line to the old sprinklers. After explaining that my situation was pretty much an emergency Just Sprinklers was kind enough to fit me into their busy schedule. Omar showed up and after digging for over an hour in the hot sun he found an old busted sprinkler line that tree roots had broken. I am really thankful that Omar did not give up on my mess as I am sure others would have. Great Job! and very grateful they even came out. According to the opinion of an trusted expert who is NOT in competition with JS, and who did not know who had done the installation until after he gave his opinion, the installers used the INCORRECT sprinkler heads. Please read on............... I made the fools error of assuming that JS would bid a fair price. They did not according to my expert. They charged more than TWICE a fair price. My fault.....don't make my mistake. The fact that I am 79 years old is irrelevant except that perhaps it put a target on my back. I am 79, not 9 and accept responsibility for allowing myself to be fooled. If for whatever reason you feel inclined to use JS, get competitive bids and AGGRESSIVELY negotiate the price. Late last summer we had Just Sprinklers re do our back yard to include gravel, sprinklers and a new lawn. Could not ask for a better job. I spent 39 years as a remodeling contractor and it is easy for me to recognize a quality company when I see one. You get what you pay for. They were very professional from the get go. The salesman was very knowledgeable and polite. Guided us through the process. The work crew was unreal. Great work and very polite and clean. The real kicker was that the final inspection was done by the owner. Wow. Came out, looked and did some tweaking on the sprinklers. Nice guy. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I want to give a shout out to Patrick Davis, an irrigation tech at Just Sprinklers, who spent several hours on June 30 helping solve a valve problem and then helping me figure out the best design to water my newly-installed raised beds and other plants. He offered me several options and once I made my decision he installed many spaghetti lines and emitters for me. Patrick was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. By the time we finished, I felt I had the "custom" drip system I'd hoped to have which would both properly water the current layout but give me a lot of flexibility in the future as plants change and grow. Do NOT hire this company. I paid for a "Spring Start Up" $826.00. They came out FOUR times and never finished the job. They said it would be another $398 (new estimate?) to complete it. I questioned the pricing and why this is now added on to the Start up, they called this morning and said they would not come out at all. I asked why several times and they did not give an answer. I believe it is because I questioned the pricing - which was excessive. Also, they are taking advantage of a 66 year old, single woman. Left me hanging... read more

Our irrigation system had an above ground leaked. They came the same day I called. After a detailed check of the system I was advised I need a whole new control system I agreed and within an hour, Bobby Bleything, Kurik Brown and Omar Chavez showed up and spent to almost 6 pm installing and checking the system. I would NEVER recommend this company. John, the boss/owner is a completely arrogant human being. The person who provides quotes doesn't know the correct questions to ask; they "assume" the consumer should know about complex sprinkler systems. Never arrive on time, leave garbage every where, damage property, and do not stand behind the product. Shameful. The ladies in the office are wonderful and often put in a hard spot. EXTREMELY UPSET WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! After checking with numerous suppliers. The same materials used on my valve system any consumer can buy the same Hunter products for 75% cheaper then what these guys charge thats taking advantage of us hardworking people and price gouging. A Hunter PGV sprinkler valve at Home depot is less than $20.00 and Just Sprinklers charges $100.00 for the same exact one.... Nobody use this company!!!! read more

I usually don't write reviews because quite frankly customer service SUCKS nowadays. However, I have to write on the service, I received from Troy Patton. Troy returned my phone calls multiple times and even showed up at my house (ON TIME). Then he walked me thru my system and showed me what the problem was. Troy is a super guy with a great attitude. When you use these folks ask for Bobby, Javier, or Allejandro. They are hard-working and know watering or irrigation systems really well. Our sprinkler system had two major leaks in it and they were available to repair them the next day. The work was performed with a high degree of professionalism and quality which I expect to last for many years. read more

Jesse Jensen called earlier than expected and completed my job, a replacement head, and noted problem areas on my lawn. He recommended replacement of the heads with circulating heads not only to reach the problem areas but with a reduction of water usage. The decision was mine to go ahead.
