Overview: 5/5 I loved this pub in Macon Georgia. We stopped in after our journey here for a cold beer. What a great find!! Ambiance : 5/5 This place had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor space had two floors with plenty of tables to accommodate large and small gatherings. The decor was well done with lots of beer memorabilia on the walls. It had a large walk up bar that can host multiple patrons at once ordering beer or food. Food/Drink 5/5 They has over 64 beers to choose from!! A 5 star for that alone. We only had a soft pretzel and beer cheese. It was hit and freshly made. Service : 5/5 It was mostly self serve so 5 stars for me and Maggie serving up the beers. They were good at picking up empty glasses. Conclusion : If I'm ever in Macon again this will definitely be a stop over. read more

As is usually the case, when I'm in Macon and need an opportunity to feed myself, I'll opt for Just Tap'd, and last night was no exception. I was feeling particularly hungry, and so I got both the pretzel sticks with beer cheese *and* the bratwurst. As usual, I was not disappointed. I started out with a pint of a hazelnut porter, which was absolutely delicious. The hazelnut flavor was strong, but not overpowering, and it nicely complemented the dark and rich taste of the porter itself. Because I needed to drive home later, I made my second only a half pint, and I got the breakfast stout, an oatmeal stout with hints of coffee. The beers, as usual, were absolutely first rate. The food was also outstanding. What can I say? The bratwurst tasted exactly like a bratwurst with mustard and sauerkraut should, and the pretzels were likewise delicious, as was the beer cheese dip. My one complaint with the pretzels was that they weren't as large as they often are, but in a meal that was otherwise outstanding, this is an exceedingly minor point. Short version: we all know that their craft beers are outstanding, but the pub food should make Just Tap'd your go-to spot for dinner. read more

Passing through Macon and craving a pizza with a craft brew. What a cool place - great tap selection of Georgia, regional and national beers across most styles. Looked to have a decent wine selection too but did not explore. We started with the German pretzel appetizer - lovely pretzel, just the right crunch and with tasty mustard dipping sauce. Pizza was traditional Italian style crust with nice list of kitchen favorite combos and ingredient choices to make your own. We had the Fire pizza. If you enjoy beer, this is the place to go! They have so many beers (and some wine) on tap plus you can buy many of them in cans to take home. We got two pizzas and loved one but not the other. We stopped over for a night in Macon on our way from Chicago to Florida. After 13 hours of driving, we needed a beer! This place was just what the doctor ordered!!! 40+ beers on tap with a sweet girl behind the bar to explain the menu and provide great customer service. I tried a flight of 4 different beers, and they were all SO GOOD. Cold and refreshing! My husband also loved the beers that he ordered. We had the Fire pizza and that was great, too. I chat with a few other patrons and staff and the vibe of this place was super friendly and chill. We also bought a few of their canned beers to-go for us to enjoy when we get to Florida. Overall, a wonderful experience. We left happily buzzed and wish we had more time to explore Macon and try a few more of their tap'd beers. read more

Love this place! Definitely a unique niche in Macon- although certainly not a novel concept in general. The people who work here are friendly, it's a great casual ambiance perfect for hanging out and the outdoor seating area is dog friendly! There are 64 taps with mostly beers but also a couple hard ciders and craft sodas as well. I think it's $1 for a tasting but I have never been charged for tasting multiple things as long as I end up purchasing a pint eventually. Prices vary from $4-$11 depending on the beer and the alcohol content. They recently added a pub menu with pizzas and other bar type fare but I haven't had a chance to try any of it yet. Of course you can purchase growlers of their beers and they have a system for exchanging empty growlers for a full one! I definitely recommend checking out this place for a chill place to grab a pint and relax! read more

Awesome!! I've been here twice and both times I had excellent service! I brought my 11yr old daughter with me and the environment was calm enough that I didn't feel out of place. There is so much unique decor, televisions and beer to look at you'll be sure to stay entertained. They even have games to play like "what do you meme?" I absolutely love the atmosphere and they are pet friendly! The soft pretzel sticks with beer cheese or beer mustard are a must try! The bartenders are very knowledgeable, respectful and personable! I just need to say how much I LOVE THIS PLACE! When I lived in Macon this use to be my go to spot every weekend to read my book and drink a beer or 2 (or 4). My brother and sister-in-law are regulars here and everyone knows them by name. I've never encountered an unpleasant employee and that just says so much about a place when everyone loves to be there. They have so many board games to play, giant sized Jenga and the good ol throw them sacks into the hole game (clearly I forgot what it's called but you can figure out what I'm talking about). I'm just going to go ahead and list out the things I ended up getting on 1 of my 3 visits in 1 week. I came back for my spring break (yay teacher life) and for my boyfriend to meet my family and I essentially told him that coming to Just Tap'd was just as important as meeting my family. We came in here for a flight of beer, the charcuterie board, and pizzas to go. Absolutely love their tap list and their large selection of beer!! If you're a beer fan and in the area...definitely check out this place! My only complaint is that they write numbers on the flight list and it's annoying to check their huge list and look for a number. It's only posted at the front, so I took a picture and double-checked it on my phone. It would be much easier if they provided a list (maybe even like a QR code for easier access) or the person serving the beers can quickly jot down the beer next to the number. Their charcuterie board was a bit disappointing. The best part, in my opinion, was the goat cheese. It is a bit messy and we didn't have napkins. I know we all want to promote small businesses during the C19 but this is ridiculous when you order online and $9 margherita pizza and then you end up paying $28 for it to be delivered and then they don't even follow the directions there's no extra fresh cheese and there's no double sauce. I really like this place. They have a great selection of beers to drink here and to take home. They have a great patio area with plenty of tables to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and enjoy a beer with your friends and even a furry friend. I wish dogs were allowed inside but since they serve food, animals aren't allowed. We came to Macon for a friend's wedding and stumbled upon Just Tap'd for dinner. Our group had such a great time playing games and eating delicious pizza. They had a variety of unique draft selections. I ended up ordering peach and pineapple ciders, which were very refreshing and not too expensive. I agree that Just Tap'D has good food - the reason for the low rating is due to suffering from a fall. On March 30, 2022, myself and a friend of mine chose to eat at Just Tap'D prior to attending a Kenny G concert. As I went down the stairs to pick up our order, I was unaware of the layout of the last few bottom steps and fell on my right side on the concrete floor. (If you are wondering if we had been drinking, the answer is no. We both had a diet Dr. Pepper that was purchased at a convenient store). When my friend and I asked for 911 to be called - a female employee stated her manager told her they could not call 911. My friend called 911 and I was transported to the ER at Atrium Navicent Health. After c-rays we're done I was told that I had a broken right femur that would require surgery to repair the femur with a rod and screws. After three days I was released from the hospital and required approximately 3 months of physical therapy and I missed the y Kenny G concert. The management of Just Tap'D never contacted me because they did not take down my contact information. Because of this experience, I have no plans to eat there again. read more

OMG Amazing! I love when I go off path and find an awesome place to eat!! So we came for the pizza, (the best of Macon pizza to be exact)... when we pulled up and saw so many people sitting outside, I for sure wanted to go in... once inside, I had mixed feelings and was confused (albeit briefly) it's definitely more of a craft beer restaurant, as the entire top floor portrays everything beer... scouring for direction, I saw a small sign that says food downstairs. So we went, following the amazing smells. Again, a little confused what to do, we grabbed menus and took a seat, decided upon the "White" pizza, the man behind the counter, friendly, yet staying in the zone told us "good choice". Downstairs you can only order food and pay with a card. So back upstairs I went to get drinks and feeling a little overwhelmed asked for a Sweetwater which although they have their sign, they don't have their beer. I had to ask for a recommendation.. and got an efficient yet snobby beer girl say, #5. As it turns out, it was a good choice. Liked it and loved the pizza!! read more

In Macon for a wedding this weekend, and the groom sent my date and me toward this fine establishment following the rehearsal dinner. We enjoyed ourselves more than we expected to. We tried about a dozen beers (between free tastes, dollar sample-size flight glasses, and a pint each) and we bought six more specialty brews to bring home in cans and bottles. When the groomsmen showed up, they envied the flights we had in front of us, but I think they were too macho to drink their beer from such a delicate glass :P One friend was disappointed that the beer he would have enjoyed most was down to foam when he ordered it, even though it was still listed on their fancy digital overhead menu for the long 30 tap bar. This electronic menu, too, was out of sync with the printed menus with longer descriptions, so my date was chagrinned to find the Belgian White had been replaced. But if you don't get your hopes up for some delicious craft you see listed which might not actually be available, you can simply enjoy the spacious atmosphere with high ceilings, plenty of tables, outdoor seating (dog-friendly!) and a relaxed vibe which lets you wander in and out on a hot June night, catching up with old friends and making new ones. read more

Went here for our first time last night on Thursday which was college night. We really enjoyed the pizza which was amazing. We loved all the variety of beers and wines. I had an incredible moscato. Just Tap'd had a great vibe and is a fun place with great food and beers and wines. Next time I think we will pick a different night it was a little to loud for us as it was our date night.
