Just hidden off the road back in Old Town Resort is this gem. Worth stopping. This is a restored Old Clitherall building. Part of the original town this building was the old town general store. Is one of the three buildings still standing. They offer espresso drinks, smoothies, sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, and other treats. There are two floors. You can order the food and head upstairs to the pool table, meeting space. Foosball table, or an assortment of table games. Staying at the resort it is within walking distance. Perfect for some chill time or when it's raining. We decided to try some lunch. I got the Happy Herbivore with a twist. The lady who worked the says she likes it with bacon, so that's what I did. She called it the Happy Hypocrite. It was a vegetation sandwich with tomato, onion, cucumber, sprouts, swiss cheese and mayo on sourdough. The bacon was the perfect touch. Hubby got the rhubarb which he enjoyed greatly. The meals include chips of your choice and a pickle spear. Very nice place. Great experience overall. read more

Ventured over while visiting Lake Clitherall and found this eatery for a mid-morning breakfast. The place itself was inviting and the recent renovations still held a lot of the history of the building and surround area. We ordered a few of their cinnamon rolls, which were soft, gooey, and overall amazing. I also had the Minnesota Cozy, which itself was a cinnamon roll pressed with an egg and sausage in between. Overall great balance of sweet and savory. We ate on a pleasant Sunday on their outside pergola, with views of the lake. Will be a staple stop for all future visits. read more

Best way to describe this is an upscale-big city coffee shop with a creative twist in the middle of wooded areas and lakes. The food is spectacular, I had the sourdough breakfast sandwich and the cinnamon roll and my husband had the O.G. Joe for the most important part, the coffee, not only is it absolutely phenomenal they also managed to add three extra shots to my husband's latte with perfect execution... as I write this he is going to order another. We we're staying on Lake Clitherall and my wife wanted a nice cappuccino and I needed some internet and breakfast. This spot was awesome! Laid back, clean, amazing carmel rolls and coffee. I'm so glad there's a cafe like this on the lake. Even better, we learned you can get there by boat - the sign on shore is a bit small but look for the yellow raft with the blue slide. We love making Justice Two part of our weekly cabin routine. Delicious sandwiches and handmade treats, a full coffee menu, and a welcoming staff. The building is beautiful and the upstairs game area is a fun spot to go play foosball, air hockey, and pool on a rainy day. We prefer to boat over and sit at the playground with our goodies while our kids play. Perfect summer fun!! read more

Great coffee, AMAZING cinnamon and caramel rolls! The owners have transformed this neglected treasure into an oasis on the lake. We have been coming up to East Battle Lake for several years and just discovered the Justice Two. We will make this a regular stop on our trips up north. The history included in the pictures on the walls tells the story of Clitherall and the building itself. read more

Love to walk a mile and half to get our breakfast from here! It's that worth it for the sandwich and to die for caramel rolls. As for their muffins - I have just discovered the pumpkin cream cheese muffins and now I am obsessed! Definitely worth 5 stars! read more

The previous proprietors built a well-established, consistently good, friendly business. The current group running J2 have completely ruined what had been so well loved. It is shameful. Garbages are overflowing, orders forgotten, workers are untrained in customer service (asked for utensils, the person behind the counter didn't know what that meant, caramel rolls were already gone and instead of offering the day old ones on the counter...alternative not offered..she just sat there and stared, so many other issues it's upsetting to think about. read more

So good! I got a vanilla latte made with almond milk, so good, and a non dairy substitute is hard to come by in this area! My group also had strawberry and mango smoothies, which were highly praised. Inside the cafe is a super cute United States map with pins to mark where you're from. There is an upstairs game room and lounge for kids, too. Highly recommended! So yummy, and the two ladies working we're very sweet and friendly. This is a gem. :) read more

Every summer we spend a week at a cabin on Stuart Lake and Justice Two Coffehouse is one of our favorite places to visit! Their WiFi is the best in the area, plus they have books to read and games you can play while hanging out. This place is truly a gem and we are so happy to have discovered it. read more
