This place was so cute I loved how welcoming they are. I have a regular stylist I've been going to for years unfortunately she had an emergency and was unavailable. I'd left the country and really did a number on my microlinks. They were able to fit me in for a maintenance with short notice. My hair has a combination of a Braidless sew in and microlinks. They did such a good job tightening my hair, washing and styling. Not everyone can maneuver the complicated way my install is setup and Michelle did a fantastic job. read more

As a first time client, I was thoroughly impressed by my stylist Georgia. She did a wonderful job creating a custom color for my hair! She also treated my hair with a steam treatment & a trim. I love the fact that she did NOT get scissor happy on me & clipped minimal ends. The steam treatment left my hair silky & frizz free much longer than any other trip to the salon. She also gave me tips on how to maintain the color longer at home (I didn't know there was such a thing as red shampoo! Lol) Not only was I completely satisfied with my hair after leaving the salon, but my experience throughout the process was five star. Everyone in the salon (even if you aren't their client) strives to make your visit memorable. They're always offering you a complimentary beverage & the salon itself is very clean! If i could give this place 0 stars I would, i came here to get my very first sew in, I was really excited about getting it down, I spent months planning it and ALOT OF MONEY on good hair, to have it all ruined in 3 hours, the stylist didnt put my closure piece in correctly she was nice and friendly but I asked for a verstatile sew in, i didnt know much and I wanted there opinion because they are the professionals, but it was done incorrectly but thats not the part that upset me, the part that upset me was the fact that the owner, didnt ecknowledge the fact that she made a mistake and apologize she never apologized for the bad work that was done, she didnt even try to remedy anything, she stated that i should have went back to fix it, why would I ?? Would you go back if they messed up the first time, nope, no refund, no partial refund nothing, this is not professional. This is horrible customer service!! read more

I LOVE Juvé Hair Salon. I have been going here a little over a year. My stylist of choice is Georgia. While they are all great, Georgia has dealt with me since I first stepped foot in the salon. I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair stylist. I moved here from TN and for about 3.5 years I would only visit my beautician back home. I just had absolutely no luck with anyone in Orlando who could manage natural hair... a lot of natural hair... natural hair that loves to be colored and straightened. But then I found Georgia and what a relief!! From twist outs, to silky press, to up dos and full sew ins, she is beyond talented. She also does dreadlock maintenance. I am never disappointed when I leave her shop. And the prices are very, very reasonable!! I can call her and she has no problem fitting me in when she can. While I was under the dryer for the second time the beautician started doing a walk ins hair! She weaved it and styled it while I sat there waiting for an hour!!! Horrible Customer Service. First off, This was my first time ever getting extensions. I went to the consultant about getting extensions and she recommended that I should get the sewn hair and told me it was only going to be $125. 1 day before my appointment they call me and tell me they won't have my hair in and for Me to go and buy it and so I simply said I don't have time and that I just want my 25 dollars back. So then I get a call them telling me I won't get my money back so I simply stated that it's not fair because it's not my fault you guys didn't have the hair. So she was like oh I can get you the hair. So when the day came, the hair she had was literally the same length as my hair. I was there over 3 hours. When I went to pay they lady didn't even tell me the right price to begin with. She had charged me double which was outrageous because those extensions became loose in 3 days. They apologize and fixed them again and it was like 5 days I didn't wash my hair, the extensions were all basically off of my hair. Not only did they came off less than a week but my scalp were red for almost a week. I had called them and left a voicemail and haven't gotten a call. Never again... read more

I have lived in Orlando for 13 years and my regular hair stylist retired a few years ago. Since then, I have visited several salons and most have been nice but I think I have found a new home at Juve with MaTanya. And the shampoo...the best shampoo I have ever had in my life. I am a "hair" person and routinely do my own hair. Typically, I am restyling as soon as I get in the car but I didn't do one thing to my hair. I loved the look and feel of my hair and also her styling was flawless. I was in and out; everyone was very professional and welcoming. I only did 4 stars because it is in the middle of the Sand Lake area which is so congested (and so far from my home). The drive will be worth it for the health of my hair in the long run. read more

The stylists were nice, nice atmosphere, I went in for a silk press, ended up with a silk press and haircut. My hair needed to be trimmed heavily since the ends were that damaged according to both Georgia and Tamara. I was super reluctant to do it since my hair to me has always been this way even after I cut it several times a year. But they were really insistent on doing it so that my hair would be healthy. I allowed them to cut it into a bob and eventually the owner I believe told me to cut some layers in because my hair really needed the trimming. I eventually agreed. Cut at least 6 inches off of my hair, and left with a nice press out in a bob. They wrapped it up for me and sent me off. It was raining so they gave me something to cover. When I got home, I unwrapped to wear my hair and it was definitely not looking like a press out. It looked more like a blow out. I think my hair is just not taking any straightening so that's not their fault. But I was so sad because my hair was much shorter than I'm accustom to. So here I am, 3 months later, and I am so glad I listened to them and cut those split ends off. My hair is less tangle prone, more manageable, retains more moisture and is just overall in a healthier, fuller state. I think that was one of the best things I have ever done for my hair. Thank you so much Georgia and Tamara! Sorry for giving you a hard time when it came to cutting my hair. The only thing I would improve which is a pet peeve of mine especially going to a new place is when someone who is inexperienced or training is doing my hair. 1. I'm already nervous since it's a first time experience with the establishment, 2. I end up having a trainee or teen starting on my service. Yikes. A young lady was there which I later learned was the owner's daughter, very sweet girl, and she was told to wash my hair when I arrived. No bueno. Thankfully, when I told my stylist that I didn't feel my hair was washed properly, she re washed for me without a question. I appreciate that. I know that baby girl has to learn, but preferably not on new customers please. Other than that, wonderful salon with knowledgeable people! read more
