They squeezed me in last minute before my cervical disc replacement surgery, and I was honestly stressing about not wanting to look like a complete hot mess going into such a major procedure. Jaime absolutely came through. Not only does he clearly know exactly what he's doing, but his personality made the whole experience even better. I left feeling so much more confident and genuinely excited for my next appointment already.The salon itself is super cute, welcoming, and easy to get to with simple parking (which honestly matters more than people think). I used to see them back when I lived in Orlando, and even after moving to Daytona Beach, they still accommodated me and remembered everything. That level of care means so much. Amanda, the owner, is an absolute badass, and every stylist I've seen there has crushed it, but Jaime really knocked it out of the park for me this time. 5 Stars for my hair goddess, Megan Essig, who will make your hair color dreams come true. I've been seeing Megan for my color for years and have never strayed (despite a lockdown, her moving away several times, etc.). When she moved to SLC a couple of years ago, I would see her every few months when she was back home. Now that she's moved back to Orlando, she can never get rid of me! I've had some terrible color experiences in the past. Think orange/coppery blotchy color. Ever since Megan has been doing my hair I have gotten so many compliments and random strangers asking for my colorist's contact info. A few things to note: Color that looks this natural and flawless takes time. Expect to be at the salon for a couple of hours, but fret not, Megan is a great hang! She's traveled the world and lived everywhere, so don't be shy about your own travels and places you'd like to visit, because my girl has got recommendations! I can't recommend this sweet soul's work enough. She's an artist and will not lead you astray (or let you lead yourself astray with requests for color that won't suite you). I went to Janae to get my natural brunette hair platinum blonde and she was very rough on my scalp! I am a seasoned platinum blonde & am no wimp when it comes to bleach pain, so when I was almost crying as she scraped my scalp with a comb to "work the toner in," I knew something was wrong. Part of what I like about the salon is the care that the stylist has with me. I'm not a lil rag doll! Overall, I liked how my hair turned out, but I'll never forget the feeling of pain! They saved my hair after a local stylist destroyed it. I have had extensions and fantasy hair for the past 4 years. I have every confidence in Amanda and Josh. I was looking for somewhere to get microblading done, so I checked this place out with a haircut first just to see if I liked it. Ernie cut my hair and was great - he does some amazing color work, too (check out his instagram: @ernielovescolor). The location is a bit random and slightly hard to find, but it's really cute inside. If your looking for it, there's no signs or anything - it's just the suite with white, sheer curtains on the windows and doors. I ended up booking an appointment for microblading, which was super easy wth the online booking/calendar. Amanda Stone, who does the microblading, is AMAZING (Instagram: @yourfavoritehairstylist). She makes you feel so comfortable throughout the whole process, and that's saying something because I was pretty insecure about my eyebrows. It did hurt a bit, but it was totally worth it. I will need to do a touch up appointment soon, but it's only $75 for touch ups (which she said can be full on re-dos/as much as you want) in the first year after the initial appointment. Shaylene went above and beyond to make sure all of My questions were answered. Walking in there was a good atmosphere and gave me a good feeling even though I was 20 plus years older than anyone in there I was treated like an equal. I could comment, laugh, joke around with them. Everyone was happy. The haircut and the reason I was there was great. We spend several minutes talking about what I wanted how I care for it, Shaylene offered suggestions and I agreed. Her attention to detail was awesome and if I was 20 or 30 years younger I wouldn't even mention this but some of the older folks getting haircuts rely on the barber or stylist to trim the ear fuzz too. I thought I had done my research and found an experienced professional based on Amanda Stone's photo gallery & Reviews. My eyebrows do not reflect the quality work she advertises on her website. My eyebrows do not look professionally microbladed. They are solid dark line with no hairlike strokes, looks like old tattoo. Plus I have a double tail from where she messed up the initial shape.I followed all her after care instructions.I dry healed and I do not have oily skin. She doesn't want to assume any responsibility for my botched eyebrows. I don't understand how a professional could feel she deserves $450 for such a bad job. I would feel guilty and refund the money. She did not deliver the quality microbladed eyebrows she advertises and that I expected to receive. Beware you may end up with eyebrows like mine,if you choose Amanda Stone. Neal destroyed my hair!!! After doing some research for a hairstylist in Orlando, I came across Neal Malek, who seemed to be talented based on his Instagram. I asked Neal for a balayage fading from a dark color to icy blonde and the result was black and green. Neal dropped the black dye on various parts of my hair staining it and I cant get it out now. After telling him about this, he told me to come in for a fix in which he would turn my hair "pastel pink", something I never wanted but had to agree to out of desperation. When the pastel pink was finished my hair turned black, gray, light pink, hot pink and green in different places. The black dye spots were still there and my hair went from really bad to incredibly bad. I have attempted to contact Neal on several occasions to request a refund for ruining my hair and he is nowhere to be found. The day I had my hair done, the girl next to me ended crying because they messed up he hair too. I should have taken that as a red flag. read more

I went to this salon on friend's recommendation. Amanda was not available so I saw Ernie instead... BIG MISTAKE! I'd seen some photos of hair he'd done and I figured if he could do complex, bright colors then my root touch-up and partial highlight should be a breeze. SO SO SO WRONG. When I arrived I was hesitant because there was no sign for the salon and the area was a little shady. But I felt obligated bc I made an appointment and I figured that everyone starts somewhere and if they were talented then who cares what the plaza looks like. The staff was friendly but not terribly professional. The salon was so-so but I could see several girls getting complex color so I stayed. After 3 hrs I was so upset that I asked him to not bother blowing it out or cutting it, paid and left. $80 plus tip and I was left with wet hair, orangey highlights that were uneven and blobs in my hair, plus a thick ring of dark dye around my face. When the salon was notified of my situation I received a text from Ernie with an offer to fix my hair. Based on the disaster that he left my hair in I declined. When I asked for a refund of some type to offset the money I would need to spend to fix it I was ignored. I was never contacted by Amanda directly but I did send her photos of my hair so that she would know how bad the work was. So I will be hiding in a ball cap for the next couple days until my usual stylist is back in town and can rescue my hair. read more
